‘Bob je zvijezda Marovog đardina, a mi smo sporedni glumci‘, rekla nam je Katija kad smo je pitali da nam ispriča što sve raste u njihovom bogatom đardinu na Konalu. Najveći dio plodnog tla ove su godine zauzele stabljike boba koji se u njihovom domu redovno nalazi u raznim obrocima. Bob iz đardina - a ima ga poprilično - ne prodavaju, samo poklanjaju. Količine su taman za počastit‘ familiju i prijatelje. Pravi su sretnici jer je ove godine cijena kilograma mladog boba oko 6 eura.

- To nam je hobi - kaže o njihovoj urbanoj poljoprivredi Katija. - Bob je vazda prvi. Lani je bio za Dan žena umjesto buketa! - govori s osmijehom, pa nabraja što sve raste u njihovom đardinu: razne salate, luk, jagode, pomadore, tikvice, ovisno o stađonu.

- Bob najčešće kuham s blitvom. Prvo skuham bob, pa dodam blitvu i začinim sa soli, maslinovim uljem i koprom. Tako se čini mladi bob. Poslije, kad mahune postanu dlakave, imaš samo bobe - ističe. - Od njih se može napraviti divan namaz, mogu se skuhati pod ulje s lukom, a odličan je i s hobotnicom na gulaš - savjetuje Katija s Gornjeg Konala.

JEDINSTVENI OKUS

Bob je jednogodišnja biljka iz porodice mahunarki, krupnih sjemenki. U jednoj mahuni obično je četiri do pet sjemenki. Bob se na cijelom Mediteranu tradicionalno koristi u prehrani na razne načine. Nutritivni sastav mu je bogat i jedinstvenog je okusa kojeg ne voli svatko, ali tko ga zavoli, uvijek mu se vraća.

Najčešće se jedu sjemenke. Važno je ubrati mahunu prije nego se cijela formira jer su tada sjemenke mekane i nisu gorke. Mogu se jesti i cijele mahune, ali se u tom slučaju moraju ubrati dosta ranije. Svi mladi lisnati izdanci na biljci su također jestivi i mogu se koristiti u salatama. No, sjemenke boba gube na okusu kad ostare jer im opna postane gorka, pa ih je uputno oguliti prije kuhanja.

Dnevna porcija boba zadovoljava dnevne potrebe organizma za vlaknima, a tijelo opskrbljuje željezom i magnezijem. Odlično se kombinira u raznim salatama, kao varivo, s tjesteninom i njokama, a ljubitelji boba tvrde da najbolje ide uz šparoge, rikolu ili tikvice. Bob je i odličan sastojak tradicionalnih jela s mesom, ali i s ribom.

MOŽE I S PANCETOM

U Dubrovniku se najčešće jede skuhan i začinjen koprom, solju i maslinovim uljem, a može se i dinstati na luku i česnu i tako dobiti ukusno varivo. Ima i kompliciranijih recepata koji podrazumijevaju artičoke i druge vrste povrća. Možete ga skuhati i s patatama i okrenuti na prosuji na kojoj ste prethodno poprigali nekoliko komadića pancete.

Redovna konzumacija boba u sezoni dobra je prevencija protiv slabokrvnosti. Njegov nutritivni sastav poboljšava probavu i jača imunološki sustav, a prehrambena vlakna pomažu smanjiti šećer u krvi.

U Hrvatskoj su dvije manifestacije posvećene ovoj manuharki kao tradicionalnoj hrani, a to su Dani boba i blitve na otoku Braču te Fešta o’ boba u Kaštel Kambelovcu.

‘Bob je zvijezda Marovog đardina, a mi smo sporedni glumci‘, rekla nam je Katija kad smo je pitali da nam ispriča što sve raste u njihovom bogatom đardinu na Konalu. Najveći dio plodnog tla ove su godine zauzele stabljike boba koji se u njihovom domu redovno nalazi u raznim obrocima. Bob iz đardina - a ima ga poprilično - ne prodavaju, samo poklanjaju. Količine su taman za počastit‘ familiju i prijatelje. Pravi su sretnici jer je ove godine cijena kilograma mladog boba oko 6 eura.

- To nam je hobi - kaže o njihovoj urbanoj poljoprivredi Katija. - Bob je vazda prvi. Lani je bio za Dan žena umjesto buketa! - govori s osmijehom, pa nabraja što sve raste u njihovom đardinu: razne salate, luk, jagode, pomadore, tikvice, ovisno o stađonu.

- Bob najčešće kuham s blitvom. Prvo skuham bob, pa dodam blitvu i začinim sa soli, maslinovim uljem i koprom. Tako se čini mladi bob. Poslije, kad mahune postanu dlakave, imaš samo bobe - ističe. - Od njih se može napraviti divan namaz, mogu se skuhati pod ulje s lukom, a odličan je i s hobotnicom na gulaš - savjetuje Katija s Gornjeg Konala.

JEDINSTVENI OKUS

Bob je jednogodišnja biljka iz porodice mahunarki, krupnih sjemenki. U jednoj mahuni obično je četiri do pet sjemenki. Bob se na cijelom Mediteranu tradicionalno koristi u prehrani na razne načine. Nutritivni sastav mu je bogat i jedinstvenog je okusa kojeg ne voli svatko, ali tko ga zavoli, uvijek mu se vraća.

Najčešće se jedu sjemenke. Važno je ubrati mahunu prije nego se cijela formira jer su tada sjemenke mekane i nisu gorke. Mogu se jesti i cijele mahune, ali se u tom slučaju moraju ubrati dosta ranije. Svi mladi lisnati izdanci na biljci su također jestivi i mogu se koristiti u salatama. No, sjemenke boba gube na okusu kad ostare jer im opna postane gorka, pa ih je uputno oguliti prije kuhanja.

Dnevna porcija boba zadovoljava dnevne potrebe organizma za vlaknima, a tijelo opskrbljuje željezom i magnezijem. Odlično se kombinira u raznim salatama, kao varivo, s tjesteninom i njokama, a ljubitelji boba tvrde da najbolje ide uz šparoge, rikolu ili tikvice. Bob je i odličan sastojak tradicionalnih jela s mesom, ali i s ribom.

MOŽE I S PANCETOM

U Dubrovniku se najčešće jede skuhan i začinjen koprom, solju i maslinovim uljem, a može se i dinstati na luku i česnu i tako dobiti ukusno varivo. Ima i kompliciranijih recepata koji podrazumijevaju artičoke i druge vrste povrća. Možete ga skuhati i s patatama i okrenuti na prosuji na kojoj ste prethodno poprigali nekoliko komadića pancete.

Redovna konzumacija boba u sezoni dobra je prevencija protiv slabokrvnosti. Njegov nutritivni sastav poboljšava probavu i jača imunološki sustav, a prehrambena vlakna pomažu smanjiti šećer u krvi.

U Hrvatskoj su dvije manifestacije posvećene ovoj manuharki kao tradicionalnoj hrani, a to su Dani boba i blitve na otoku Braču te Fešta o’ boba u Kaštel Kambelovcu.

Nutritivni sastav mu je bogat i jedinstvenog je okusa kojeg ne voli svatko, ali tko ga zavoli, uvijek mu se vraća.

Najčešće se jedu sjemenke. Važno je ubrati mahunu prije nego se cijela formira jer su tada sjemenke mekane i nisu gorke. Mogu se jesti i cijele mahune, ali se u tom slučaju moraju ubrati dosta ranije. Svi mladi lisnati izdanci na biljci su također jestivi i mogu se koristiti u salatama. No, sjemenke boba gube na okusu kad ostare jer im opna postane gorka, pa ih je uputno oguliti prije kuhanja.

Dnevna porcija boba zadovoljava dnevne potrebe organizma za vlaknima, a tijelo opskrbljuje željezom i magnezijem. Odlično se kombinira u raznim salatama, kao varivo, s tjesteninom i njokama, a ljubitelji boba tvrde da najbolje ide uz šparoge, rikolu ili tikvice. Bob je i odličan sastojak tradicionalnih jela s mesom, ali i s ribom.

MOŽE I S PANCETOM

U Dubrovniku se najčešće jede skuhan i začinjen koprom, solju i maslinovim uljem, a može se i dinstati na luku i česnu i tako dobiti ukusno varivo. Ima i kompliciranijih recepata koji podrazumijevaju artičoke i druge vrste povrća. Možete ga skuhati i s patatama i okrenuti na prosuji na kojoj ste prethodno poprigali nekoliko komadića pancete.

Redovna konzumacija boba u sezoni dobra je prevencija protiv slabokrvnosti. Njegov nutritivni sastav poboljšava probavu i jača imunološki sustav, a prehrambena vlakna pomažu smanjiti šećer u krvi.

U Hrvatskoj su dvije manifestacije posvećene ovoj manuharki kao tradicionalnoj hrani, a to su Dani boba i blitve na otoku Braču te Fešta o’ boba u Kaštel Kambelovcu.
