Život piše filmove, filmovi slikaju život. Mogao bi se i tako označiti utjecaj sedme umjetnosti na našu suvremenost minulih desetljeća.
Šibensko okružje ljubilo je filmove i filmaše, ali i oni njega. "Winnetou", "Pobješnjelo more", "Putnici sa Splendida", "Prometej s otoka Viševice", "Karneval, anđeo i prah"... To su neki od naslova koji su na filmskoj vrpci obilježili prirodnu i životnu sredinu šibensku od šezdesetih do početka devedesetih godina prošloga stoljeća.
Nama se sačuvalo nekoliko fotografija sa snimanja "Prometeja s otoka Viševica", u produkciji zagrebačkog "Jadran filma" iz godine 1964., kada su u Rogoznici i u starome kamenolomu nad njom, snimani eksterijeri toga filma u režiji Vatroslava Mimice.
Snimanja su trajala danima, a statiralo je gotovo cijelo mjesto, mlado i staro. Mnogi su i iz Šibenika dolazili pratiti zbivanja i razgovarati s popularnim redateljem i još popularnijim glumcima. Mimica je uvijek bio druželjubiv i pažljiv prema javnosti.
Među inima, u filmu su glumili Janez Vrhovec, Slobodan Dimitrijević, Mira Sardoč, Pavle Vuiisić, Dragomir Felba, Fabijan Šovagović i drugi. Iza glavne kamere stajao je veliki meštar Tomislav Pinter, a glazbu je skladao maestro Miljenko Prohaska.

Mate, glavni lik, direktor velikog poduzeća, dolazi brodom na rodni otok Viševicu kako bi sudjelovao u obilježavanju godišnjice oslobođenje toga mjesta od okupatora u Drugom svjetskom ratu. On želi pokremuti i akciju za elektrifikaciju školja.
Prometej je po antičkoj legendi bog vatre, koju je darovao ljudima. Mještani Viševice, pak, više vole njegovu vatru na ognju svome, negoli struju koja nosi napredak. Cijela priča je modrena parafraza mita o Prometeju.
Mate je uz to, posebno razočaran sustavom koji provodi prisilnu kolektivizaciju, koja uzima od seljaka gotovo sve što proizvede na škrtoj zemlji. Takva politička nota, eto, provukla se u Mimičinu filmu, jer su okovi početne faze tadašnjeg političkog sustava ipak pomalo popuštali.
Ostaje još spomenuti i neke druge filmske zgode koje se pamte. Tako i film "Pobješnjelo more" što se s legendarnom Marijom Schell snimao u kornatskom arhipelagu, na otoku Mani.
Za potrebe filma sagrađeni su kameni objekti - utvrde kao dijelovi drevne rimske naseobine. Pa su ga u novije vrijeme neki turistički vodiči pokazivali turistima kao autentične ostatke rimskih vila i utvrda!
Spomenimo još i "Winnetoua", poglavicu Indijanaca, također iz sredine šezdesetih godina, s glumcima Pierreom Briceom (kao Winnetouom), Lexom Barkerom (Old Shatterhand), Elke Sommer i nizom domaćih aktera. Jednu od indijanskih žena glumila je i jedna Šibenčanka.
Domaćin im je bila rijeka Krka. Skradinski buk, Roški slap, s brojnim lokalnim statistima kao apašima. Na žalost, većinu od toga filmskog blaga više nemamo prilike gledati.

Život piše filmove, filmovi slikaju život. Mogao bi se i tako označiti utjecaj sedme umjetnosti na našu suvremenost minulih desetljeća.
Šibensko okružje ljubilo je filmove i filmaše, ali i oni njega. "Winnetou", "Pobješnjelo more", "Putnici sa Splendida", "Prometej s otoka Viševice", "Karneval, anđeo i prah"... To su neki od naslova koji su na filmskoj vrpci obilježili prirodnu i životnu sredinu šibensku od šezdesetih do početka devedesetih godina prošloga stoljeća.
Nama se sačuvalo nekoliko fotografija sa snimanja "Prometeja s otoka Viševica", u produkciji zagrebačkog "Jadran filma" iz godine 1964., kada su u Rogoznici i u starome kamenolomu nad njom, snimani eksterijeri toga filma u režiji Vatroslava Mimice.
Snimanja su trajala danima, a statiralo je gotovo cijelo mjesto, mlado i staro. Mnogi su i iz Šibenika dolazili pratiti zbivanja i razgovarati s popularnim redateljem i još popularnijim glumcima. Mimica je uvijek bio druželjubiv i pažljiv prema javnosti.
Među inima, u filmu su glumili Janez Vrhovec, Slobodan Dimitrijević, Mira Sardoč, Pavle Vuiisić, Dragomir Felba, Fabijan Šovagović i drugi. Iza glavne kamere stajao je veliki meštar Tomislav Pinter, a glazbu je skladao maestro Miljenko Prohaska.

Mate, glavni lik, direktor velikog poduzeća, dolazi brodom na rodni otok Viševicu kako bi sudjelovao u obilježavanju godišnjice oslobođenje toga mjesta od okupatora u Drugom svjetskom ratu. On želi pokremuti i akciju za elektrifikaciju školja.
Prometej je po antičkoj legendi bog vatre, koju je darovao ljudima. Mještani Viševice, pak, više vole njegovu vatru na ognju svome, negoli struju koja nosi napredak. Cijela priča je modrena parafraza mita o Prometeju.
Mate je uz to, posebno razočaran sustavom koji provodi prisilnu kolektivizaciju, koja uzima od seljaka gotovo sve što proizvede na škrtoj zemlji. Takva politička nota, eto, provukla se u Mimičinu filmu, jer su okovi početne faze tadašnjeg političkog sustava ipak pomalo popuštali.
Ostaje još spomenuti i neke druge filmske zgode koje se pamte. Tako i film "Pobješnjelo more" što se s legendarnom Marijom Schell snimao u kornatskom arhipelagu, na otoku Mani.
Za potrebe filma sagrađeni su kameni objekti - utvrde kao dijelovi drevne rimske naseobine. Pa su ga u novije vrijeme neki turistički vodiči pokazivali turistima kao autentične ostatke rimskih vila i utvrda!
Spomenimo još i "Winnetoua", poglavicu Indijanaca, također iz sredine šezdesetih godina, s glumcima Pierreom Briceom (kao Winnetouom), Lexom Barkerom (Old Shatterhand), Elke Sommer i nizom domaćih aktera. Jednu od indijanskih žena glumila je i jedna Šibenčanka.
Domaćin im je bila rijeka Krka. Skradinski buk, Roški slap, s brojnim lokalnim statistima kao apašima. Na žalost, većinu od toga filmskog blaga više nemamo prilike gledati.
