Progresivna neurološka bolest pogađa mlade i zdrave u kanadskoj provinciji New Brunswick, odakle je zviždač izašao u javnost te ispričao kako je broj oboljelih veći od službenih 48.
Ta brojka, naime, objavljena je u proljeće prošle godine, ali prema pisanju Guardiana, koji je objavio intervju sa zaposlenikom tamošnje Vitalite Health Network, broj je najmanje tri puta veći, piše Ivana Rimac Lesički za Portal Zdravlje.

Njihov izvor tvrdi kako obolijevaju mladi ljudi koji nisu imali zdravstvenih problema, a javljaju se sa simptomima poput naglog gubitka težine, nesanice, halucinacijama, ograničenom pokretljivošću.
Također, najmanje devet oboljelih su kontakti oboljelih premda nemaju genetsku povezanost, no razvili su simptome zbog čega se sumnja na vanjski faktor kao uzrok ove bolesti. U jednom takvom slučaju supruga oboljelog razvila je simptome kao i 20-godišnja medicinska sestra koja se brinula od 30-godišnjoj oboljeloj ženi.

Zaposlenik koji je ostao anoniman smatra da se ne radi o bolesti samo u njihovom kraju i izašao je u javnost jer tamošnja vlast namjerava ove slučajeve proglasiti pogrešno dijagnosticiranima.
Obitelji oboljelih traže ispitivanja, pri tome prema ovom razgovoru, imaju i podršku struke, ali ne i vlasti. Stoga je nastalo puno spekulacija i sumnji među kojima i ona o neurotoksinima, piše Portal Zdravlje.

Njihov izvor tvrdi kako obolijevaju mladi ljudi koji nisu imali zdravstvenih problema, a javljaju se sa simptomima poput naglog gubitka težine, nesanice, halucinacijama, ograničenom pokretljivošću.
Također, najmanje devet oboljelih su kontakti oboljelih premda nemaju genetsku povezanost, no razvili su simptome zbog čega se sumnja na vanjski faktor kao uzrok ove bolesti. U jednom takvom slučaju supruga oboljelog razvila je simptome kao i 20-godišnja medicinska sestra koja se brinula od 30-godišnjoj oboljeloj ženi.

Zaposlenik koji je ostao anoniman smatra da se ne radi o bolesti samo u njihovom kraju i izašao je u javnost jer tamošnja vlast namjerava ove slučajeve proglasiti pogrešno dijagnosticiranima.
