Bivša južnoafrička paraolimpijska zvijezda Oscar Pistorius, zatvoren 2014. zbog ubojstva svoje djevojke Reeve Steenkamp, dobit će još jednu priliku za prijevremeno puštanje na saslušanju za uvjetnu slobodu u petak.

Poznat kao "Blade Runner" zbog svojih protetičkih nogu od ugljičnih vlakana, Pistorius je od javnog heroja kao paraolimpijski prvak postao osuđeni ubojica u saslušanjima koja su prije deset godina privukla pozornost svijeta.

Pistorius je pucao i ubio Steenkamp na Valentinovo 2013.godine. Visoki sud Južne Afrike ga je prvotno osudio na pet godina zatvora 2014. godine zbog ubojstva iz nehata, no Vrhovni prizivni sud ga je krajem 2015. proglasio krivim za ubojstvo nakon žalbe tužitelja.

Vraćen je u zatvor na šest godina 2016. nakon presude Visokog suda, što je manje od polovice minimalne kazne od 15 godina koju su tražili tužitelji. Godine 2017. Vrhovni sud mu je više nego udvostručio kaznu za ubojstvo na 13 godina i pet mjeseci, rekavši da je šestogodišnja zatvorska kazna "šokantno blaga".

Glasnogovornik Odjela za zatvorske službe Južne Afrike rekao je da će povjerenstvo za uvjetni otpust razmotriti Pistoriusov slučaj na saslušanju u petak, gdje će odlučiti treba li ga pustiti na uvjetnu slobodu.

Pistoriusov odvjetnik Conrad Dormehl rekao je za Reuters da će se saslušanje održati u popravnom centru Atteridgeville u blizini glavnog grada Pretorije, ali je odbio komentirati svoja očekivanja od saslušanja.

Odbor za uvjetni otpust obično uzima u obzir nekoliko čimbenika prije nego što zatvorenike pusti na slobodu.To uključuje prirodu zločina, mogućnost ponovnog počinjenja kaznenog djela, ponašanje u zatvoru, fizičko i psihičko blagostanje i potencijalne prijetnje s kojima bi se mogli suočiti ako budu pušteni.

Pistoriusu je odbijen uvjetni otpust u ožujku nakon što je odlučeno da nije odslužio minimalno vrijeme u zatvoru, potrebno za razmatranje uvjetnog otpusta. Međutim, Ustavni sud je u listopadu rekao da je Pistorius odslužio polovicu svoje kazne do 21. ožujka ove godine, što znači da ima pravo na uvjetni otpust, nakon što mu je kazna unazad datirana u srpanj 2016. umjesto u studeni 2017. godine.

Bivša južnoafrička paraolimpijska zvijezda Oscar Pistorius, zatvoren 2014. zbog ubojstva svoje djevojke Reeve Steenkamp, dobit će još jednu priliku za prijevremeno puštanje na saslušanju za uvjetnu slobodu u petak.

Poznat kao "Blade Runner" zbog svojih protetičkih nogu od ugljičnih vlakana, Pistorius je od javnog heroja kao paraolimpijski prvak postao osuđeni ubojica u saslušanjima koja su prije deset godina privukla pozornost svijeta.

Pistorius je pucao i ubio Steenkamp na Valentinovo 2013.godine. Visoki sud Južne Afrike ga je prvotno osudio na pet godina zatvora 2014. godine zbog ubojstva iz nehata, no Vrhovni prizivni sud ga je krajem 2015. proglasio krivim za ubojstvo nakon žalbe tužitelja.

Vraćen je u zatvor na šest godina 2016. nakon presude Visokog suda, što je manje od polovice minimalne kazne od 15 godina koju su tražili tužitelji. Godine 2017. Vrhovni sud mu je više nego udvostručio kaznu za ubojstvo na 13 godina i pet mjeseci, rekavši da je šestogodišnja zatvorska kazna "šokantno blaga".

Glasnogovornik Odjela za zatvorske službe Južne Afrike rekao je da će povjerenstvo za uvjetni otpust razmotriti Pistoriusov slučaj na saslušanju u petak, gdje će odlučiti treba li ga pustiti na uvjetnu slobodu.

Pistoriusov odvjetnik Conrad Dormehl rekao je za Reuters da će se saslušanje održati u popravnom centru Atteridgeville u blizini glavnog grada Pretorije, ali je odbio komentirati svoja očekivanja od saslušanja.

Odbor za uvjetni otpust obično uzima u obzir nekoliko čimbenika prije nego što zatvorenike pusti na slobodu.To uključuje prirodu zločina, mogućnost ponovnog počinjenja kaznenog djela, ponašanje u zatvoru, fizičko i psihičko blagostanje i potencijalne prijetnje s kojima bi se mogli suočiti ako budu pušteni.

Pistoriusu je odbijen uvjetni otpust u ožujku nakon što je odlučeno da nije odslužio minimalno vrijeme u zatvoru, potrebno za razmatranje uvjetnog otpusta. ‘Blade Runner‘ izlazi iz zatvora? Cijeli svijet pratio je njegov slučaj, danas pada odluka

Bivša južnoafrička paraolimpijska zvijezda Oscar Pistorius, zatvoren 2014. zbog ubojstva svoje djevojke Reeve Steenkamp, dobit će još jednu priliku za prijevremeno puštanje na saslušanju za uvjetnu slobodu u petak.

Poznat kao "Blade Runner" zbog svojih protetičkih nogu od ugljičnih vlakana, Pistorius je od javnog heroja kao paraolimpijski prvak postao osuđeni ubojica u saslušanjima koja su prije deset godina privukla pozornost svijeta.

Pistorius je pucao i ubio Steenkamp na Valentinovo 2013.godine. Visoki sud Južne Afrike ga je prvotno osudio na pet godina zatvora 2014. godine zbog ubojstva iz nehata, no Vrhovni prizivni sud ga je krajem 2015. proglasio krivim za ubojstvo nakon žalbe tužitelja.

Vraćen je u zatvor na šest godina 2016. nakon presude Visokog suda, što je manje od polovice minimalne kazne od 15 godina koju su tražili tužitelji. Godine 2017. Vrhovni sud mu je više nego udvostručio kaznu za ubojstvo na 13 godina i pet mjeseci, rekavši da je šestogodišnja zatvorska kazna "šokantno blaga".

Glasnogovornik Odjela za zatvorske službe Južne Afrike rekao je da će povjerenstvo za uvjetni otpust razmotriti Pistoriusov slučaj na saslušanju u petak, gdje će odlučiti treba li ga pustiti na uvjetnu slobodu.

Pistoriusov odvjetnik Conrad Dormehl rekao je za Reuters da će se saslušanje održati u popravnom centru Atteridgeville u blizini glavnog grada Pretorije, ali je odbio komentirati svoja očekivanja od saslušanja.

Odbor za uvjetni otpust obično uzima u obzir nekoliko čimbenika prije nego što zatvorenike pusti na slobodu.To uključuje prirodu zločina, mogućnost ponovnog počinjenja kaznenog djela, ponašanje u zatvoru, fizičko i psihičko blagostanje i potencijalne prijetnje s kojima bi se mogli suočiti ako budu pušteni.

Pistoriusu je odbijen uvjetni otpust u ožujku nakon što je odlučeno da nije odslužio minimalno vrijeme u zatvoru, potrebno za razmatranje uvjetnog otpusta. Međutim, Ustavni sud je u listopadu rekao da je Pistorius odslužio polovicu svoje kazne do 21. ožujka ove godine, što znači da ima pravo na uvjetni otpust, nakon što mu je kazna unazad datirana u srpanj 2016. umjesto u studeni 2017. godine.
