Naučili smo kako se “prstima čita, a očima vidi” družeći se sa članovima Županijske udruge slijepih Split, koji su u srijedu proslavili svoj veliki 69 rođendan.
Najveći i njima najvrijedniji poklon dobili su od Rotary kluba Split Novi, riječ je o posebno odabranom Brajičnom printeru, koji će najviše koristiti maleni članovi Udruge – školarci. Podsjećamo, od 496 slijepih i slabovidnih Splićana čak je njih 11 učenika osnovnih i srednjih škola, kao i studenata.
Dok smo čekali da se više od 30 tisuća kuna vrijedan uređaj po svim pravilima struke priključi i pokrene, pročavrljali smo sa Sarom (13), Dinom (10) i Tonijem (11). Oni, ako niste znali, imaju puno toga za reći. Neće, za razliku od svojih roditelja, kazati kako im printer olakšava život, jer im je glazba – bitnija.
- Muziku volim, obožavam je slušati, muzika je lijek za sve – kazati će, oduševljeno, Sara.
A za rođendan im je pjevao splitski tenor Stefan Kokoškov, kojeg je na harmonici pratila Danira Ipavec.
Sarin pak 13 rođendan je pao u nesretno vrijeme – na početak korona-izolacije, to joj je, kaže nam, izazvalo stres. Sada se pomalo sve ipak vraća u normalu, za početak povratak u školske klupe:
- Bolje mi je u školi, onoj našoj običnoj, jer mi je tako život zanimljiviji – priznaje Sara, a Toni otkriva kako je u izolaciji radio na tome da "izludi" majku:
- Falila mi je ekipa iz razreda, fali mi i sad, jer sam sam sa asistenticom. Čitati moram, a printer će nam pomoći puno, imat ćemo napokon školske udžbenike!
A mi smo već pisali o životu roditelja slijepe djece i njihovoj neprestanoj borbi za što normalniji život njihovih malenih. Tako, ako niste znali – sve te mame i tate uporno pretipkavaju školske udžbenike, koje potom printaju na Brajičnom pismu. Da, svaki udžbenik, svaku stranicu, pretipkavaju sami. Kada govorimo o neprospavanim noćima – to je život roditelja slijepe djece.
- Svaki zadatak mu moram pročitati, jer on to ne može sam, a sada će imati priliku knjigu staviti ispred sebe – veli nam Mandina Matijašević, Tonijeva nasmijana mama.
Energija – ona pozitivna – je u prostoru Udruge slijepih gotovo pa opipljiva. Veli nam Dina:
- Volim čitati jako! Sada ću to raditi još i više. A od ostalih stvari volim i rado sviram klavir i rolam – a mi začuđeni:
- Rolaš?!
- Da, svugdje, po gradu, po Žnjanu.
Vesela Dina sa svojim desetljećem života ruši i najmanji tračak onog što zovemo svakodnevnim stresom. Ivan Tokić, predsjednik Udruge, također je jedan od "pozitivaca", njegov pas vodič Voice vjerno sjedi pored nogu mu, a mi se smijemo životu:
- Sve što slijepima treba iznimno je skupo, zato jer puno vrijedimo – kaže nam.
A želio bi, priznaje iskreno, puno dobrog za svoju braću po nevolji, da srede svoje prostore, prilagode ih potrebama koje imaju, želio bi da nabave ručno povečalo jednoj od članica kojoj je ono nužno na radnom mjestu, želio bi integrirati što više članova u društvo, želio bi poručiti svijetu i Splitu kako prilagođena pomagala slijepima podižu kvalitetu života.
Irena Franić, predsjednica Rotary kluba Split Novi je i sama žestoka kada je riječ o upornosti, pomoći će, kaže nam, kako god može.
- Prije godinu dana nismo ni znali što muči slijepe, sada tek vidimo – znakovita je Franić:
- Znamo sada koje su njihove potrebe i koji ih problemi stežu i kakve planove sanjaju, mi smo tu pomoći im u svemu!
I dok Brajični pisač utiskuje točkice u težak papir – gledamo, shvaćajući kako smo blagoslovljeni što gledamo očima, a ne prstima. Svjesni kako se srcem uistinu vidi. Jasno.

Naučili smo kako se “prstima čita, a očima vidi” družeći se sa članovima Županijske udruge slijepih Split, koji su u srijedu proslavili svoj veliki 69 rođendan.
Najveći i njima najvrijedniji poklon dobili su od Rotary kluba Split Novi, riječ je o posebno odabranom Brajičnom printeru, koji će najviše koristiti maleni članovi Udruge – školarci. Podsjećamo, od 496 slijepih i slabovidnih Splićana čak je njih 11 učenika osnovnih i srednjih škola, kao i studenata.
Dok smo čekali da se više od 30 tisuća kuna vrijedan uređaj po svim pravilima struke priključi i pokrene, pročavrljali smo sa Sarom (13), Dinom (10) i Tonijem (11). Oni, ako niste znali, imaju puno toga za reći. Neće, za razliku od svojih roditelja, kazati kako im printer olakšava život, jer im je glazba – bitnija.
- Muziku volim, obožavam je slušati, muzika je lijek za sve – kazati će, oduševljeno, Sara.
A za rođendan im je pjevao splitski tenor Stefan Kokoškov, kojeg je na harmonici pratila Danira Ipavec.
Sarin pak 13 rođendan je pao u nesretno vrijeme – na početak korona-izolacije, to joj je, kaže nam, izazvalo stres. Sada se pomalo sve ipak vraća u normalu, za početak povratak u školske klupe:
- Bolje mi je u školi, onoj našoj običnoj, jer mi je tako život zanimljiviji – priznaje Sara, a Toni otkriva kako je u izolaciji radio na tome da "izludi" majku:
- Falila mi je ekipa iz razreda, fali mi i sad, jer sam sam sa asistenticom. Čitati moram, a printer će nam pomoći puno, imat ćemo napokon školske udžbenike!
A mi smo već pisali o životu roditelja slijepe djece i njihovoj neprestanoj borbi za što normalniji život njihovih malenih. Tako, ako niste znali – sve te mame i tate uporno pretipkavaju školske udžbenike, koje potom printaju na Brajičnom pismu. Da, svaki udžbenik, svaku stranicu, pretipkavaju sami. Kada govorimo o neprospavanim noćima – to je život roditelja slijepe djece.
- Svaki zadatak mu moram pročitati, jer on to ne može sam, a sada će imati priliku knjigu staviti ispred sebe – veli nam Mandina Matijašević, Tonijeva nasmijana mama.
Energija – ona pozitivna – je u prostoru Udruge slijepih gotovo pa opipljiva. Veli nam Dina:
- Volim čitati jako! Sada ću to raditi još i više. A od ostalih stvari volim i rado sviram klavir i rolam – a mi začuđeni:
- Rolaš?!
- Da, svugdje, po gradu, po Žnjanu.
Vesela Dina sa svojim desetljećem života ruši i najmanji tračak onog što zovemo svakodnevnim stresom. Ivan Tokić, predsjednik Udruge, također je jedan od "pozitivaca", njegov pas vodič Voice vjerno sjedi pored nogu mu, a mi se smijemo životu:
- Sve što slijepima treba iznimno je skupo, zato jer puno vrijedimo – kaže nam.
A želio bi, priznaje iskreno, puno dobrog za svoju braću po nevolji, da srede svoje prostore, prilagode ih potrebama koje imaju, želio bi da nabave ručno povečalo jednoj od članica kojoj je ono nužno na radnom mjestu, želio bi integrirati što više članova u društvo, želio bi poručiti svijetu i Splitu kako prilagođena pomagala slijepima podižu kvalitetu života.
Irena Franić, predsjednica Rotary kluba Split Novi je i sama žestoka kada je riječ o upornosti, pomoći će, kaže nam, kako god može.
- Prije godinu dana nismo ni znali što muči slijepe, sada tek vidimo – znakovita je Franić:
- Znamo sada koje su njihove potrebe i koji ih problemi stežu i kakve planove sanjaju, mi smo tu pomoći im u svemu!
I dok Brajični pisač utiskuje točkice u težak papir – gledamo, shvaćajući kako smo blagoslovljeni što gledamo očima, a ne prstima. Svjesni kako se srcem uistinu vidi. Jasno.
