Hrvatski zastupnik u Europskom parlamentu Karlo Ressler (HDZ/EPP) pisao je Europskoj komisiji kako bi upozorio na plastično zagađenje Jadranskog mora koje dolazi iz Albanije, objavio je ured zastupnika u četvrtak.

Više od 90 posto plastičnog i drugog otpada na hrvatske obale pristiže s juga Europe, osobito iz Albanije. Također, 229 tisuća tona plastike godišnje završi u Sredozemnom moru, a zbog utjecaja struja i relativno plitkog mora, nakon prolaska kroz Otrantska vrata, Hrvatska je i na udaru plastike iz Sredozemnog mora. Albanska vlada još je prije desetljeća najavila istragu oko plastičnog zagađenja koje iz Albanije svakodnevno stiže na hrvatsku obalu, ali rezultata nije bilo.

Zbog toga je hrvatski zastupnik u Europskom parlamentu Karlo Ressler, kao član Izaslanstva u Odboru za stabilizaciju i pridruživanje Albanije, zatražio od Europske komisije da pronađe načine na koje može intervenirati kroz europske programe zaštite okoliša i albanske pristupne pregovore.

Ressler ističe da je geografski među prvima na udaru Dubrovnik, ali i ostali dijelovi Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije poput nacionalnog parka Mljet i delte Neretve, koja je pod zaštitom UNESCO-a od 1992. godine.

„Stoljećima živimo uz more, od mora i s morem. Od prijašnjih generacija naslijedili smo i poštovanje i skrb prema Jadranu. Zato je nužno pod hitno zaustaviti plastično onečišćenje našeg Jadranskog mora, a ujedno i najljepše obale europskog kontinenta. Iskoristit ću svaku mogućnost pritiska kako bismo podigli ovo pitanje na razinu kakvu zaslužuje,“, zaključio je Ressler, navodi se u priopćenju.

Hrvatski zastupnik u Europskom parlamentu Karlo Ressler (HDZ/EPP) pisao je Europskoj komisiji kako bi upozorio na plastično zagađenje Jadranskog mora koje dolazi iz Albanije, objavio je ured zastupnika u četvrtak.

Više od 90 posto plastičnog i drugog otpada na hrvatske obale pristiže s juga Europe, osobito iz Albanije. Također, 229 tisuća tona plastike godišnje završi u Sredozemnom moru, a zbog utjecaja struja i relativno plitkog mora, nakon prolaska kroz Otrantska vrata, Hrvatska je i na udaru plastike iz Sredozemnog mora. Albanska vlada još je prije desetljeća najavila istragu oko plastičnog zagađenja koje iz Albanije svakodnevno stiže na hrvatsku obalu, ali rezultata nije bilo.

Zbog toga je hrvatski zastupnik u Europskom parlamentu Karlo Ressler, kao član Izaslanstva u Odboru za stabilizaciju i pridruživanje Albanije, zatražio od Europske komisije da pronađe načine na koje može intervenirati kroz europske programe zaštite okoliša i albanske pristupne pregovore.

Ressler ističe da je geografski među prvima na udaru Dubrovnik, ali i ostali dijelovi Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije poput nacionalnog parka Mljet i delte Neretve, koja je pod zaštitom UNESCO-a od 1992. godine.

„Stoljećima živimo uz more, od mora i s morem. Od prijašnjih generacija naslijedili smo i poštovanje i skrb prema Jadranu. Zato je nužno pod hitno zaustaviti plastično onečišćenje našeg Jadranskog mora, a ujedno i najljepše obale europskog kontinenta. Iskoristit ću svaku mogućnost pritiska kako bismo podigli ovo pitanje na razinu kakvu zaslužuje,“, zaključio je Ressler, navodi se u priopćenju.

Hrvatski zastupnik u Europskom parlamentu Karlo Ressler (HDZ/EPP) pisao je Europskoj komisiji kako bi upozorio na plastično zagađenje Jadranskog mora koje dolazi iz Albanije, objavio je ured zastupnika u četvrtak.

Više od 90 posto plastičnog i drugog otpada na hrvatske obale pristiže s juga Europe, osobito iz Albanije. Također, 229 tisuća tona plastike godišnje završi u Sredozemnom moru, a zbog utjecaja struja i relativno plitkog mora, nakon prolaska kroz Otrantska vrata, Hrvatska je i na udaru plastike iz Sredozemnog mora. Albanska vlada još je prije desetljeća najavila istragu oko plastičnog zagađenja koje iz Albanije svakodnevno stiže na hrvatsku obalu, ali rezultata nije bilo.

Zbog toga je hrvatski zastupnik u Europskom parlamentu Karlo Ressler, kao član Izaslanstva u Odboru za stabilizaciju i pridruživanje Albanije, zatražio od Europske komisije da pronađe načine na koje može intervenirati kroz europske programe zaštite okoliša i albanske pristupne pregovore.

Ressler ističe da je geografski među prvima na udaru Dubrovnik, ali i ostali dijelovi Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije poput nacionalnog parka Mljet i delte Neretve, koja je pod zaštitom UNESCO-a od 1992. godine.

„Stoljećima živimo uz more, od mora i s morem. Od prijašnjih generacija naslijedili smo i poštovanje i skrb prema Jadranu. Zato je nužno pod hitno zaustaviti plastično onečišćenje našeg Jadranskog mora, a ujedno i najljepše obale europskog kontinenta. Iskoristit ću svaku mogućnost pritiska kako bismo podigli ovo pitanje na razinu kakvu zaslužuje,“, zaključio je Ressler, navodi se u priopćenju.
