Suvremena oprema koja sprječava onečišćenje mora, vrijedna 513 tisuća eura, predstavljena je u utorak u Vatrogasnom centru "Sveti Florijan" u Kaštel Gomilici, a tom je prigodom rečeno da će pridonijeti i sprječavanju mogućih ekoloških katastrofa na Jadranu.

Ta će oprema, kako je rečeno, sve zabilježene informacije o mogućem onečišćenju mora prosljeđivati u županijski Vatrogasni operativi centar u Splitu, a na temelju njih će se odlučivati o intervencijama vatrogasaca na moru.

Riječ je o projektu nazvanom PEPSEA (Protecting the Enclosed Parts of the Sea in Adriatic from Pollution), to jest Zaštita zatvorenih dijelova mora u Jadranu od onečišćenja.

Oprema će biti postavljena u Kaštelanskom zaljevu.

Projekt je financiran iz fondova Europske unije u sklopu programa Interreg Italija - Hrvatska, uključene su četiri dalmatinske županije i četiri partnera iz Italije, a vrijednost mu je, kako je rečeno, 2,9 milijuna eura.

U opremi su senzori, brane od PVC-a, kamere i specijalni dron.

Splitsko-dalmatinski župan Blaženko Boban istaknuo je kako su senzori već postavljeni na zgradi tvrtke CEMEX u Kaštel Sućurcu te na plutači tvrtke Plovput u Kaštelanskom zaljevu.

Posebice je istaknuo važnost drona čiji je domet 15 kilometara, a pomoći će u pravodobnom otkrivanju onečišćenja mora te požara.

"Ovaj dron, ali i cjelokupna oprema moći će iznimno rano detektirati onečišćenje na moru", rekao je Boban.

Vedran Martinić iz Jadranskog edukativno-istraživačkog centra za reagiranje na iznenadna onečišćenja mora iz Rijeke istaknuo je kako će za upotrebu te opreme biti iznimno važni treninzi da bi vatrogasci koji će se njome koristiti stekli kompetencije.

"U slučaju bilo kakve pomorske nesreće ili ispuštanja opasnih i štetnih tvari reakcija mora biti brza i kompetentna u roku od nekoliko minuta", istaknuo je Martinić.

Dodao je kako je opasnost od onečišćenja golema jer Jadranom na godinu preveze više od 75 milijuna tona opasnoga i štetnog tereta, od kojeg više od 50 milijuna tona nafte i naftnih prerađevina.

Zapovjednik Vatrogasne zajednice Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Ivan Kovačević istaknuo je kako će ta oprema pridonijeti i razvoju vatrogastva u sprječavanju mogućih katastrofa na Jadranu.

"S ovakvom opremom možemo mirnije spavati", poručio je Kovačević.

Suvremena oprema koja sprječava onečišćenje mora, vrijedna 513 tisuća eura, predstavljena je u utorak u Vatrogasnom centru "Sveti Florijan" u Kaštel Gomilici, a tom je prigodom rečeno da će pridonijeti i sprječavanju mogućih ekoloških katastrofa na Jadranu.

Ta će oprema, kako je rečeno, sve zabilježene informacije o mogućem onečišćenju mora prosljeđivati u županijski Vatrogasni operativi centar u Splitu, a na temelju njih će se odlučivati o intervencijama vatrogasaca na moru.

Riječ je o projektu nazvanom PEPSEA (Protecting the Enclosed Parts of the Sea in Adriatic from Pollution), to jest Zaštita zatvorenih dijelova mora u Jadranu od onečišćenja.

Oprema će biti postavljena u Kaštelanskom zaljevu.

Projekt je financiran iz fondova Europske unije u sklopu programa Interreg Italija - Hrvatska, uključene su četiri dalmatinske županije i četiri partnera iz Italije, a vrijednost mu je, kako je rečeno, 2,9 milijuna eura.

U opremi su senzori, brane od PVC-a, kamere i specijalni dron.

Splitsko-dalmatinski župan Blaženko Boban istaknuo je kako su senzori već postavljeni na zgradi tvrtke CEMEX u Kaštel Sućurcu te na plutači tvrtke Plovput u Kaštelanskom zaljevu.

Posebice je istaknuo važnost drona čiji je domet 15 kilometara, a pomoći će u pravodobnom otkrivanju onečišćenja mora te požara.

"Ovaj dron, ali i cjelokupna oprema moći će iznimno rano detektirati onečišćenje na moru", rekao je Boban.

Vedran Martinić iz Jadranskog edukativno-istraživačkog centra za reagiranje na iznenadna onečišćenja mora iz Rijeke istaknuo je kako će za upotrebu te opreme biti iznimno važni treninzi da bi vatrogasci koji će se njome koristiti stekli kompetencije.

"U slučaju bilo kakve pomorske nesreće ili ispuštanja opasnih i štetnih tvari reakcija mora biti brza i kompetentna u roku od nekoliko minuta", istaknuo je Martinić.

Dodao je kako je opasnost od onečišćenja golema jer Jadranom na godinu preveze više od 75 milijuna tona opasnoga i štetnog tereta, od kojeg više od 50 milijuna tona nafte i naftnih prerađevina.

Zapovjednik Vatrogasne zajednice Splitsko-dalmatinske županije Ivan Kovačević istaknuo je kako će ta oprema pridonijeti i razvoju vatrogastva u sprječavanju mogućih katastrofa na Jadranu.

"S ovakvom opremom možemo mirnije spavati", poručio je Kovačević.
