Šljive su proglašene ”superhranom” jer sadrže pravo bogatstvo antioksidansa u bobicama, tvrde znanstvenici. One su nove borovnice koje mogu prevenirati mnoge bolesti.

Dr. David Byrne, s AgriLife Researcha pri Sveučilištu Texas A&M, tvrdi da su testovi pokazali kako samo jedna šljiva sadrži jednako toliko antioksidansa koliko i šaka borovnica.

Antioksidansi su molekule koje preveniraju nastanak slobodnih radikala odgovornih za oštećenje tjelesnih stanica.

Dr. Luis Cisneros, koji je također sudjelovao u istraživanju, kazao je da su borovnice dobile ozbiljnu konkurenciju.

Ljudi običavaju pojesti samo nekoliko borovnica ili ih jedu izmiješane s drugim voćem u voćnim salatama. Sada mogu pojesti cijelu šljivu i odjednom dobiti sve blagodati, a ako pojedu dvije do tri, učinit će najbolje, tvrde stručnjaci.

Naime, testovi su pokazali da šljive sadrže fitonutritijente koji sprječavaju rast stanica raka dojke, bez nepovoljnog djelovanja na rast zdravih stanica.

Šljive su proglašene ”superhranom” jer sadrže pravo bogatstvo antioksidansa u bobicama, tvrde znanstvenici. One su nove borovnice koje mogu prevenirati mnoge bolesti.

Dr. David Byrne, s AgriLife Researcha pri Sveučilištu Texas A&M, tvrdi da su testovi pokazali kako samo jedna šljiva sadrži jednako toliko antioksidansa koliko i šaka borovnica.

Antioksidansi su molekule koje preveniraju nastanak slobodnih radikala odgovornih za oštećenje tjelesnih stanica.

Dr. Luis Cisneros, koji je također sudjelovao u istraživanju, kazao je da su borovnice dobile ozbiljnu konkurenciju.

Ljudi običavaju pojesti samo nekoliko borovnica ili ih jedu izmiješane s drugim voćem u voćnim salatama. Sada mogu pojesti cijelu šljivu i odjednom dobiti sve blagodati, a ako pojedu dvije do tri, učinit će najbolje, tvrde stručnjaci.

Naime, testovi su pokazali da šljive sadrže fitonutritijente koji sprječavaju rast stanica raka dojke, bez nepovoljnog djelovanja na rast zdravih stanica.
