U Svečanoj dvorani Sveučilišta u Zadru u srijedu navečer je, u povodu obilježavanja godišnjice osnutka najstarijeg hrvatskog sveučilišta Universitas Studiorum Jadertina, održana monodrama „Govorite li hrvatski? Zapisi iz hrvatske književnosti“ u izvedbi autora Joška Ševe, profesora Akademije dramske umjetnosti u Zagrebu.

Universitas Jadertina osnovao je poglavar redovničke zajednice dominikanaca 14. lipnja 1396. godine, kao prvu takvu visokoškolsku ustanovu na prostoru današnje Hrvatske, ali i cijele Jugoistočne Europe. To je srednjovjekovno sveučilište od pape 1553. dobilo status “privilegiranog sveučilišta” (universitas privilegiata) pa je od tada moglo dodjeljivati najviši akademski stupanj doktora znanosti uz dotadašnje pravo na dodjeljivanje bakalaureata i licencijata. Kao sljednik tradicije obrazovanja na ovom prostoru, Sveučilište u Zadru ovaj će dan obilježavati prigodnim programom svake godine.

„Selidba“ predstave iz dvorišta Barbakana u Svečanu dvoranu nije omela maestralnog Ševu u interpretaciji starih i suvremenih pjesama i tektova hrvatske baštine i književnosti, počevši od Bašćanske ploče, Marulića, Držića, do Šoljana, Mihalića, Ujevića, pjesama iz Domovinskog rata…

- Ovo je 797. izvedba predstave, a do sada sam s njom gostovao u New Yorku, Južnoafričkoj Republici, na svim mogućim zamislivim mjestima. Znaju me pitati kako mi nije dosadilo. To se ne može dogoditi u jeziku u kojem živim, a u kojemu je Držić stvarao prije Molièrea i Shakespearea. Mi gotovo da se sramimo te činjenice, komentirao je Ševo, ispraćen gromoglasnim pljeskom.

U Svečanoj dvorani Sveučilišta u Zadru u srijedu navečer je, u povodu obilježavanja godišnjice osnutka najstarijeg hrvatskog sveučilišta Universitas Studiorum Jadertina, održana monodrama „Govorite li hrvatski? Zapisi iz hrvatske književnosti“ u izvedbi autora Joška Ševe, profesora Akademije dramske umjetnosti u Zagrebu.

Universitas Jadertina osnovao je poglavar redovničke zajednice dominikanaca 14. lipnja 1396. godine, kao prvu takvu visokoškolsku ustanovu na prostoru današnje Hrvatske, ali i cijele Jugoistočne Europe. To je srednjovjekovno sveučilište od pape 1553. dobilo status “privilegiranog sveučilišta” (universitas privilegiata) pa je od tada moglo dodjeljivati najviši akademski stupanj doktora znanosti uz dotadašnje pravo na dodjeljivanje bakalaureata i licencijata. Kao sljednik tradicije obrazovanja na ovom prostoru, Sveučilište u Zadru ovaj će dan obilježavati prigodnim programom svake godine.

„Selidba“ predstave iz dvorišta Barbakana u Svečanu dvoranu nije omela maestralnog Ševu u interpretaciji starih i suvremenih pjesama i tektova hrvatske baštine i književnosti, počevši od Bašćanske ploče, Marulića, Držića, do Šoljana, Mihalića, Ujevića, pjesama iz Domovinskog rata…

- Ovo je 797. izvedba predstave, a do sada sam s njom gostovao u New Yorku, Južnoafričkoj Republici, na svim mogućim zamislivim mjestima. Znaju me pitati kako mi nije dosadilo. To se ne može dogoditi u jeziku u kojem živim, a u kojemu je Držić stvarao prije Molièrea i Shakespearea. Mi gotovo da se sramimo te činjenice, komentirao je Ševo, ispraćen gromoglasnim pljeskom.
