Američka glumica Blythe Danner, majka Gwyneth Paltrow i supruga pokojnog redatelja i tv producenta Brucea Paltrowa koji je preminuo 2002. od karcinoma usne šupljine, otkrila je da je u remisiji nakon borbe s istim tipom raka od kojeg je bolovao i umro njezin suprug.

Paltrow, otac Oskarom nagrađene glumice i poslovne žene Gwyneth Paltrow, od posljedica metastatskog rada usne šupljine preminuo je 2002. godine, piše CNN.

Danner je za časopis People rekla da je i sama bila iznenađena dijagnozom.

"Svi danas na neki način imamo iskustvo s rakom, izravno ili neizravno, ali je neobično da jedan par oboli od istog oblika raka", rekla je.

Za People je Danner ispripovijedala kako je, kad je prvi put napipala kvržicu na vratu 2018. bila u Londonu.

Kazala je da joj je bilo neobično to što je kvržicu otkrila na istome mjestu na kojemu je Bruce 1999. napipao svoju.

"Sjećam se da sam tada pogledala prema nebu i zapitala se: ‘Jesi li usamljen tamo gore pa tražiš moje društvo? To je podmukla bolest. Ali sad sam dobro. I sretna sam što sam živa."

Liječnici su joj dijagnosticirali adenoidni cistični karcinom te je priznala da je isprva prešutjela rezultate nalaza.

"Dugo sam to skrivala od svoje djece", prisjetila se Danner. "Željela sam im i dalje biti majka i nisam htjela da se brinu."

Kad je konačno otkrila dijagnozu svojoj kćeri, Gwyneth je bila šokirana.

"Bilo je zastrašujuće, jezivo..., jer je me podsjetilo na situaciju s tatom, bilo je tako slično...", rekla je Gwyneth Paltrow za People.

Nakon tri operativna zahvata, kemoterapija i brojnih alternativnih tretmana, Danner kaže da je sada u remisiji - stanju poboljšanja stanja bolesti koje se očituje popuštanjem ili nestankom njezinih bitnih obilježja.

Blythe je baka četvero unučadi i, kako je kazala, još nije spremna otići s ovog svijeta.

"Prošla je kroz sve to s toliko hrabrosti. Iznenadilo me koliko je bila jaka", rekla je njezina kći.

Danner sada surađuje sa Zakladom za rak usne šupljine na podizanju svijesti o oralnim karcinomima.

Danner je za časopis People rekla da je i sama bila iznenađena dijagnozom.

"Svi danas na neki način imamo iskustvo s rakom, izravno ili neizravno, ali je neobično da jedan par oboli od istog oblika raka", rekla je.

Za People je Danner ispripovijedala kako je, kad je prvi put napipala kvržicu na vratu 2018. bila u Londonu.

Kazala je da joj je bilo neobično to što je kvržicu otkrila na istome mjestu na kojemu je Bruce 1999. napipao svoju.

"Sjećam se da sam tada pogledala prema nebu i zapitala se: ‘Jesi li usamljen tamo gore pa tražiš moje društvo? To je podmukla bolest. Ali sad sam dobro. I sretna sam što sam živa."

Liječnici su joj dijagnosticirali adenoidni cistični karcinom te je priznala da je isprva prešutjela rezultate nalaza.

"Dugo sam to skrivala od svoje djece", prisjetila se Danner. "Željela sam im i dalje biti majka i nisam htjela da se brinu."

Kad je konačno otkrila dijagnozu svojoj kćeri, Gwyneth je bila šokirana.

"Bilo je zastrašujuće, jezivo..., jer je me podsjetilo na situaciju s tatom, bilo je tako slično...", rekla je Gwyneth Paltrow za People.

Nakon tri operativna zahvata, kemoterapija i brojnih alternativnih tretmana, Danner kaže da je sada u remisiji - stanju poboljšanja stanja bolesti koje se očituje popuštanjem ili nestankom njezinih bitnih obilježja.

Blythe je baka četvero unučadi i, kako je kazala, još nije spremna otići s ovog svijeta.

"Prošla je kroz sve to s toliko hrabrosti. Iznenadilo me koliko je bila jaka", rekla je njezina kći.

Danner sada surađuje sa Zakladom za rak usne šupljine na podizanju svijesti o oralnim karcinomima.

Američka glumica Blythe Danner, majka Gwyneth Paltrow i supruga pokojnog redatelja i tv producenta Brucea Paltrowa koji je preminuo 2002. od karcinoma usne šupljine, otkrila je da je u remisiji nakon borbe s istim tipom raka od kojeg je bolovao i umro njezin suprug.

Paltrow, otac Oskarom nagrađene glumice i poslovne žene Gwyneth Paltrow, od posljedica metastatskog rada usne šupljine preminuo je 2002. godine, piše CNN.
