Virske dame jutros su uživale u prekrasnom sunčanom jutru na Trgu svetoga Jure gdje je uz besplatnu kavu i kolače prigodno obilježen Dan žena. Na Viru se ovaj međunarodni praznik kojim se slave postignuća žena obilježava još od 2008. godine, pa ni ova nije bila izuzetak, iako je tradicionalna proslava Dana žena zbog epidemioloških razloga preseljena s terase restorana Kotarina na centralni i prostrani virski trg. Zamjenik načelnika Općine Vir Antonio Vučetić, predsjednik Općinskog vijeća Rajko Radović, direktor virske Turističke zajednice Srđan Liverić i direktor općinskog poduzeća Vir zaštita Ante Orlić, podijelili su virskim ženama crvene ruže simbolički podsjećajući na ekonomska, politička i društvena postignuća žena u cijelom svijetu, a najviše kao iskaz ljubavi i poštovanja.

- Cijeli radni vijek provela sam u Njemačkoj gdje se nije proslavljao Dan žena. Nijemci obilježavaju Majčin dan, no meni se ovaj praznik sviđa. Moram priznati kako sam napokon dočekala da se vratim u domovinu i da sada uživam na Viru. Kada živite i radite u tuđoj zemlji, cijeli čovjek zapravo ostane doma - kaže Slavica Knežević koja se prije tri godine preselila na otok. Od nekadašnje vikendice nastala je sadašnja obiteljska kuća Kneževića, pa je gospođa Slavica urbanu i užurbanu gradsku sredinu rado zamijenila otočnom idilom. S njom u društvu bile su Ana Lozančić čija je obitelj u Nizozemskoj te Mira Svilajdžić koja u Sridnjim kućicama živi već 14 godina, odnosno od prve proslave Dana žena na Viru.

- Moju je obitelj život odvukao čak u Sjedinjene Američke Države, no najljepše je doma. Družimo se i uživamo, a ovakvi praznici podsjete nas kako je život lijep na Viru. Ovo je naš dan, iako je zapravo svaki dan naš jer mi šefujemo u našim kućama - napominje gospođa Mira. Na današnjem druženju uz kavu i kolače bili su predstavnici općinske uprave, djelatnici Općine Vir, komunalnih poduzeća i ustanova te prijatelji otoka koji proslavu Dana žena nikad ne propuštaju.

Na Viru se ovaj međunarodni praznik kojim se slave postignuća žena obilježava još od 2008. godine, pa ni ova nije bila izuzetak, iako je tradicionalna proslava Dana žena zbog epidemioloških razloga preseljena s terase restorana Kotarina na centralni i prostrani virski trg. Zamjenik načelnika Općine Vir Antonio Vučetić, predsjednik Općinskog vijeća Rajko Radović, direktor virske Turističke zajednice Srđan Liverić i direktor općinskog poduzeća Vir zaštita Ante Orlić, podijelili su virskim ženama crvene ruže simbolički podsjećajući na ekonomska, politička i društvena postignuća žena u cijelom svijetu, a najviše kao iskaz ljubavi i poštovanja.

- Cijeli radni vijek provela sam u Njemačkoj gdje se nije proslavljao Dan žena. Nijemci obilježavaju Majčin dan, no meni se ovaj praznik sviđa. Moram priznati kako sam napokon dočekala da se vratim u domovinu i da sada uživam na Viru. Kada živite i radite u tuđoj zemlji, cijeli čovjek zapravo ostane doma - kaže Slavica Knežević koja se prije tri godine preselila na otok. Od nekadašnje vikendice nastala je sadašnja obiteljska kuća Kneževića, pa je gospođa Slavica urbanu i užurbanu gradsku sredinu rado zamijenila otočnom idilom. S njom u društvu bile su Ana Lozančić čija je obitelj u Nizozemskoj te Mira Svilajdžić koja u Sridnjim kućicama živi već 14 godina, odnosno od prve proslave Dana žena na Viru.

- Moju je obitelj život odvukao čak u Sjedinjene Američke Države, no najljepše je doma. Družimo se i uživamo, a ovakvi praznici podsjete nas kako je život lijep na Viru. Ovo je naš dan, iako je zapravo svaki dan naš jer mi šefujemo u našim kućama - napominje gospođa Mira. Na današnjem druženju uz kavu i kolače bili su predstavnici općinske uprave, djelatnici Općine Vir, komunalnih poduzeća i ustanova te prijatelji otoka koji proslavu Dana žena nikad ne propuštaju.

Virske dame jutros su uživale u prekrasnom sunčanom jutru na Trgu svetoga Jure gdje je uz besplatnu kavu i kolače prigodno obilježen Dan žena.
