Ove periske su opstale u divljini unatoč pošasti koja je prošlih godina zahvatila cijeli Mediteran piše na svom FB profilu ekipa iz EKO MORE Medulin. 

Metalni kavezi su postavljeni kako bi preživjele primjerke zaštitili od potencijalnih predatora, među kojima je na žalost i Homo sapiens. Otvori na njima su dovoljno mali da zaustave orade, hobotnice i kvrgave zvjezdače, a dovoljno veliki da omoguće strujanje mora s fitoplanktonom i zooplanktonom kojima se periske hrane filtrirajući vodu.

- Kako bi izbjegli postavljanje betonskih blokova, za pričvršćivanje kaveza koristili smo ekološki prihvatljiviju tehniku bušenja podloge podvodnom električnom bušilicom i postavljanja vijaka. Naravno, kao i dosadašnje aktivnosti Udruge EKO MORE, postavljanje zaštitnih kaveza je provedeno u koordinaciji i po nalogu nadležnih institucija (Ministarstvo gospodarstva i održivog razvoja - Zavod za zaštitu okoliša i prirode, NP Brijuni, JU Natura Histrica) - stoji u objavi.

Pred ekipom iz EKO MORA Medulinje ljeto i kritičan period za Taru, Saru, Maru i Pinu, pošto endoparazit Haplosporidium pinnae postaje aktivan pri temperaturama mora iznad 13,5 °C.

Periske su se lijepo oporavile tijekom zime te su narasle 10-15 mm što ulijeva tračak nade da će i ovo ljeto uspješno prebroditi.

Ove periske su opstale u divljini unatoč pošasti koja je prošlih godina zahvatila cijeli Mediteran piše na svom FB profilu ekipa iz EKO MORE Medulin. 

Metalni kavezi su postavljeni kako bi preživjele primjerke zaštitili od potencijalnih predatora, među kojima je na žalost i Homo sapiens. Otvori na njima su dovoljno mali da zaustave orade, hobotnice i kvrgave zvjezdače, a dovoljno veliki da omoguće strujanje mora s fitoplanktonom i zooplanktonom kojima se periske hrane filtrirajući vodu.

- Kako bi izbjegli postavljanje betonskih blokova, za pričvršćivanje kaveza koristili smo ekološki prihvatljiviju tehniku bušenja podloge podvodnom električnom bušilicom i postavljanja vijaka. Naravno, kao i dosadašnje aktivnosti Udruge EKO MORE, postavljanje zaštitnih kaveza je provedeno u koordinaciji i po nalogu nadležnih institucija (Ministarstvo gospodarstva i održivog razvoja - Zavod za zaštitu okoliša i prirode, NP Brijuni, JU Natura Histrica) - stoji u objavi.

Pred ekipom iz EKO MORA Medulinje ljeto i kritičan period za Taru, Saru, Maru i Pinu, pošto endoparazit Haplosporidium pinnae postaje aktivan pri temperaturama mora iznad 13,5 °C.

Periske su se lijepo oporavile tijekom zime te su narasle 10-15 mm što ulijeva tračak nade da će i ovo ljeto uspješno prebroditi.

Četiri preživjele periske Tara, Sara, Mara i Pina zaštićene kavezima

Ove periske su opstale u divljini unatoč pošasti koja je prošlih godina zahvatila cijeli Mediteran piše na svom FB profilu ekipa iz EKO MORE Medulin. 

Metalni kavezi su postavljeni kako bi preživjele primjerke zaštitili od potencijalnih predatora, među kojima je na žalost i Homo sapiens. Otvori na njima su dovoljno mali da zaustave orade, hobotnice i kvrgave zvjezdače, a dovoljno veliki da omoguće strujanje mora s fitoplanktonom i zooplanktonom kojima se periske hrane filtrirajući vodu.

- Kako bi izbjegli postavljanje betonskih blokova, za pričvršćivanje kaveza koristili smo ekološki prihvatljiviju tehniku bušenja podloge podvodnom električnom bušilicom i postavljanja vijaka. Naravno, kao i dosadašnje aktivnosti Udruge EKO MORE, postavljanje zaštitnih kaveza je provedeno u koordinaciji i po nalogu nadležnih institucija (Ministarstvo gospodarstva i održivog razvoja - Zavod za zaštitu okoliša i prirode, NP Brijuni, JU Natura Histrica) - stoji u objavi.

Pred ekipom iz EKO MORA Medulinje ljeto i kritičan period za Taru, Saru, Maru i Pinu, pošto endoparazit Haplosporidium pinnae postaje aktivan pri temperaturama mora iznad 13,5 °C.

Periske su se lijepo oporavile tijekom zime te su narasle 10-15 mm što ulijeva tračak nade da će i ovo ljeto uspješno prebroditi.
