Čak deset sati trajala je u subotu akcija spašavanja tijekom koje je HGSS Gospić spašavao dvoje planinara koji su pokušali napraviti kružnu turu kroz Rožanske kukove stazom koja je ‘izbrisana‘ od strane NP Sjeverni Velebit jer se radi o strogom rezervatu prirode. U Hrvatskoj, naime, postoje samo dva stroga rezervata, a to su Bijele i Samarske stijene, te Hajdučki i Rožanski kukovi.

Poziv u pomoć stigao je u 17 sati. U razgovoru s planinarima spašavatelji su doznali da nisu ozlijeđeni. Saznali su približnu lokaciju, ali planinari su im rekli kako nisu u mogućnosti sami izaći iz prirodnih vrleti koje ih okružuju, a uz to je padala noć pa tako i temperatura zraka.

- Iako planinari nisu bili ozlijeđeni s obzirom na udaljenost, teški teren, vremenske uvjete i njihovu opremu koja nije bila za duži boravak, ova akcija zahtijevala je hitnost. Osam spašavatelja s dva terenska vozila i s potrebnom opremom za eventualni transport ili ostanak na lokaciji do idućeg jutra (bivakiranje) nakon prikupljenih informacija, brzog organiziranja krenulo je u akciju spašavanja.

Prva dionica je vožnja terencima 100 kilometara do udaljenog Zavižana odnosno mjesta od kuda kreće poznata Premužićeva staza, za što je potrebno nešto manje od dva sata.

Od tog mjesta spašavatelji su nastavili Premužićevom stazom do Rosijevog skloništa gdje su uočili svjetlosni signal, te su se odvojili prema Rožanskim kukovima kroz vrlo težak gotovo neprohodan teren.

Oko 21 sat spašavatelji su došli do izgubljenih i iscrpljenih planinara, te su nakon kraćeg odmora i okrepe svi zajedno krenuli natrag prema Premužićevoj stazi koja je u ovoj situaciji bila kao autocesta u odnosu na šumsku vlaku. Laganim korakom uz povremene kraće odmore spašavatelji su s planinarima u jedan sat iza pola noći došli do vozila.

Akcija je trajala 10 sati i završila je u tri sata povratkom spašavatelja u bazu.

Čak deset sati trajala je u subotu akcija spašavanja tijekom koje je HGSS Gospić spašavao dvoje planinara koji su pokušali napraviti kružnu turu kroz Rožanske kukove stazom koja je ‘izbrisana‘ od strane NP Sjeverni Velebit jer se radi o strogom rezervatu prirode. U Hrvatskoj, naime, postoje samo dva stroga rezervata, a to su Bijele i Samarske stijene, te Hajdučki i Rožanski kukovi.

Poziv u pomoć stigao je u 17 sati. U razgovoru s planinarima spašavatelji su doznali da nisu ozlijeđeni. Saznali su približnu lokaciju, ali planinari su im rekli kako nisu u mogućnosti sami izaći iz prirodnih vrleti koje ih okružuju, a uz to je padala noć pa tako i temperatura zraka.

- Iako planinari nisu bili ozlijeđeni s obzirom na udaljenost, teški teren, vremenske uvjete i njihovu opremu koja nije bila za duži boravak, ova akcija zahtijevala je hitnost. Osam spašavatelja s dva terenska vozila i s potrebnom opremom za eventualni transport ili ostanak na lokaciji do idućeg jutra (bivakiranje) nakon prikupljenih informacija, brzog organiziranja krenulo je u akciju spašavanja.

Prva dionica je vožnja terencima 100 kilometara do udaljenog Zavižana odnosno mjesta od kuda kreće poznata Premužićeva staza, za što je potrebno nešto manje od dva sata.

Od tog mjesta spašavatelji su nastavili Premužićevom stazom do Rosijevog skloništa gdje su uočili svjetlosni signal, te su se odvojili prema Rožanskim kukovima kroz vrlo težak gotovo neprohodan teren.

Oko 21 sat spašavatelji su došli do izgubljenih i iscrpljenih planinara, te su nakon kraćeg odmora i okrepe svi zajedno krenuli natrag prema Premužićevoj stazi koja je u ovoj situaciji bila kao autocesta u odnosu na šumsku vlaku. Laganim korakom uz povremene kraće odmore spašavatelji su s planinarima u jedan sat iza pola noći došli do vozila.

Akcija je trajala 10 sati i završila je u tri sata povratkom spašavatelja u bazu.
