Omikron varijanta uspijeva dulje preživjeti na ljudskoj koži i na plastičnim površinama u usporedbi s ranijim verzijama koronavirusa, otkrili su japanski istraživači u laboratorijskim testovima.

Upravo ta iznimno visoka "stabilnost u okolišu", odnosno visoka zaraznost i izrazita izdržljivost omogućili su omikronu da zamijeni deltu kao dominantnu varijantu i da se širi tolikom brzinom, zaključili su japanski znanstvenici.

Na plastičnim površinama prosječno vrijeme preživljavanja izvornog soja koronavirusa iznosilo je 56 sati, varijante alfa 191,3 sati, varijante beta 156,6 sati, game 59,3 sati i delte 114,0 sati.

Japanski su istraživači ustanovili da se na plastičnim površinama omikron zadržava oko 193,5 sati, a rezultate, koji još trebaju proći stručnu recenziju njihovih kolega objavili su na internetskoj stranici bioRxiv.

Na uzorcima kože trupala prosječno vrijeme preživljavanja koronavirusa iznosilo je 8,6 sati kada se radilo o izvornome soju, 19,6 sati za alfa soj, 19,1 sati za betu, 11,0 sati za gama varijantu, 16,8 sati za deltu i, opet najviše - 21,1 sati za omikron.

Sve su varijante koronavirusa u potpunosti inaktivirane s ljudske kože nakon 15 sekundi izlaganja sredstvima za dezinfekciju ruku na bazi alkohola.

"Stoga se," zaključuju japanski znanstvenici, "i dalje preporučuje da se u sklopu aktualne kontrole infekcije nastavi s primjenom trenutačne prakse higijene ruku dezinficijensima na bazi alkohola, ali i sapunom, u skladu s naputkom Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije."

Omikron varijanta uspijeva dulje preživjeti na ljudskoj koži i na plastičnim površinama u usporedbi s ranijim verzijama koronavirusa, otkrili su japanski istraživači u laboratorijskim testovima.

Upravo ta iznimno visoka "stabilnost u okolišu", odnosno visoka zaraznost i izrazita izdržljivost omogućili su omikronu da zamijeni deltu kao dominantnu varijantu i da se širi tolikom brzinom, zaključili su japanski znanstvenici.

Na plastičnim površinama prosječno vrijeme preživljavanja izvornog soja koronavirusa iznosilo je 56 sati, varijante alfa 191,3 sati, varijante beta 156,6 sati, game 59,3 sati i delte 114,0 sati.

Japanski su istraživači ustanovili da se na plastičnim površinama omikron zadržava oko 193,5 sati, a rezultate, koji još trebaju proći stručnu recenziju njihovih kolega objavili su na internetskoj stranici bioRxiv.

Na uzorcima kože trupala prosječno vrijeme preživljavanja koronavirusa iznosilo je 8,6 sati kada se radilo o izvornome soju, 19,6 sati za alfa soj, 19,1 sati za betu, 11,0 sati za gama varijantu, 16,8 sati za deltu i, opet najviše - 21,1 sati za omikron.

Sve su varijante koronavirusa u potpunosti inaktivirane s ljudske kože nakon 15 sekundi izlaganja sredstvima za dezinfekciju ruku na bazi alkohola.

"Stoga se," zaključuju japanski znanstvenici, "i dalje preporučuje da se u sklopu aktualne kontrole infekcije nastavi s primjenom trenutačne prakse higijene ruku dezinficijensima na bazi alkohola, ali i sapunom, u skladu s naputkom Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije."

Znanstvenici otkrili zašto se omikron širi tolikom brzinom: na plastičnim se površinama zadržava 193,5 sati, evo koliko dugo ostaje na ljudskoj koži

Omikron varijanta uspijeva dulje preživjeti na ljudskoj koži i na plastičnim površinama u usporedbi s ranijim verzijama koronavirusa, otkrili su japanski istraživači u laboratorijskim testovima.

Upravo ta iznimno visoka "stabilnost u okolišu", odnosno visoka zaraznost i izrazita izdržljivost omogućili su omikronu da zamijeni deltu kao dominantnu varijantu i da se širi tolikom brzinom, zaključili su japanski znanstvenici.

Na plastičnim površinama prosječno vrijeme preživljavanja izvornog soja koronavirusa iznosilo je 56 sati, varijante alfa 191,3 sati, varijante beta 156,6 sati, game 59,3 sati i delte 114,0 sati.

Japanski su istraživači ustanovili da se na plastičnim površinama omikron zadržava oko 193,5 sati, a rezultate, koji još trebaju proći stručnu recenziju njihovih kolega objavili su na internetskoj stranici bioRxiv.

Na uzorcima kože trupala prosječno vrijeme preživljavanja koronavirusa iznosilo je 8,6 sati kada se radilo o izvornome soju, 19,6 sati za alfa soj, 19,1 sati za betu, 11,0 sati za gama varijantu, 16,8 sati za deltu i, opet najviše - 21,1 sati za omikron.

Sve su varijante koronavirusa u potpunosti inaktivirane s ljudske kože nakon 15 sekundi izlaganja sredstvima za dezinfekciju ruku na bazi alkohola.

"Stoga se," zaključuju japanski znanstvenici, "i dalje preporučuje da se u sklopu aktualne kontrole infekcije nastavi s primjenom trenutačne prakse higijene ruku dezinficijensima na bazi alkohola, ali i sapunom, u skladu s naputkom Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije."
