I najobičniji promatrač i prognostički laik prostim okom može vidjeti neobične klimatske promjene. Obilje kiše i niske temperature posve su netipične za ovo doba, koje je prijašnjih godina znalo biti obilježeno velikim vrućinama, pa i, među ostalim, masovnim kupanjem u moru.
Srećom, vrijeme će se u posljednjoj trećini svibnja ipak popraviti, ali se ipak neće stabilizirati. Do kraja mjeseca treba računati na mjestimičnu kišu ili pljuskove s grmljavinom koji lokalno mogu biti i izraženiji. Takvo promjenjivo vrijeme nastavit će se i u lipnju. Ipak, u dijelu lipnja malo povećana vjerojatnost za promjenljivije vrijeme uz češću kišu, posebice sredinom mjeseca kada bi temperatura zraka mogla biti oko prosječne pa i malo niža od nje, kaže Krunoslav Mikec iz Državnog hidrometeorološkog zavoda.

Hoće li dugo ljeto biti toplo, vruće, suho ili promjenjivo, Mikec ne može sa sigurnošću kazati. Službena sezonska prognoza DHMZ-a za ovo ljeto bit će izrađena do kraja svibnja kada budu dostupni svi potrebni prognostički materijali.
Ipak, preliminarni podaci temeljeni na rezultatima numeričkog modela sezonske prognoze Europskog centra za srednjoročne prognoze vremena pokazuju veliku vjerojatnost za iznadprosječnu toplinu tijekom ljeta lipnja, srpnja i kolovoza, pri čemu bi u svakom od tri ljetna mjeseca srednja mjesečna temperatura trebala biti viša od klimatološkog srednjaka. To znači da bi temperature trebale biti iste ili nešto niže nego prošle godine.

Međutim, preliminarni pokazatelji govore i da bi kiše ovog ljeta moglo biti više nego prošlog. Uz napomenu kako pouzdanost ovakve vrste prognoze nije velika, Mikec ističe da je vjerojatnost za ostvarenje te prognoze umjerena, piše Jutarnji list.

Prošlo ljeto bilo je najtoplije u povijesti, što je potaknulo sušu, najtežu u posljednjih 500 godina. Zasad je situacija najteža u Španjolskoj, gdje su poljoprivrednici izvijestili o gubicima uroda od čak 80 posto, naročito žitarica i uljarica.
Sa svojim rezervoarima na prosječno 50% kapaciteta, zemlja je prošlog tjedna izdvojila više od dvije milijarde eura za financiranje odgovora na hitne situacije. Francuska izlazi iz najsušnije zime od 1959. godine, u četiri departmana već je ograničena potrošnja vode koja nije prioritetna.
U Portugalu je otprilike 90 posto teritorija zahvaćeno je sušom, a u dijelovima sjeverne Italije značajno manjka snježne vode i vlage u tlu. Uz tako sasušeno tlo, kiša se ne upija, što ima razorne posljedice. Rog Afrike prolazi kroz najgoru sušu u posljednjih nekoliko desetljeća, dok je povijesna suša u Argentini uništila usjeve soje i kukuruza, piše Index.

Dakle, klimatska slika nije nimalo optimistična. Pogled u nebo teško da može pomoći, korisnije bi bilo promisliti o ljudskim i civilizacijskim uzorocima klimatskih promjena te napraviti ono što se može i što je potrebno.

I najobičniji promatrač i prognostički laik prostim okom može vidjeti neobične klimatske promjene. Obilje kiše i niske temperature posve su netipične za ovo doba, koje je prijašnjih godina znalo biti obilježeno velikim vrućinama, pa i, među ostalim, masovnim kupanjem u moru.
Srećom, vrijeme će se u posljednjoj trećini svibnja ipak popraviti, ali se ipak neće stabilizirati. Do kraja mjeseca treba računati na mjestimičnu kišu ili pljuskove s grmljavinom koji lokalno mogu biti i izraženiji. Takvo promjenjivo vrijeme nastavit će se i u lipnju. Ipak, u dijelu lipnja malo povećana vjerojatnost za promjenljivije vrijeme uz češću kišu, posebice sredinom mjeseca kada bi temperatura zraka mogla biti oko prosječne pa i malo niža od nje, kaže Krunoslav Mikec iz Državnog hidrometeorološkog zavoda.

Hoće li dugo ljeto biti toplo, vruće, suho ili promjenjivo, Mikec ne može sa sigurnošću kazati. Službena sezonska prognoza DHMZ-a za ovo ljeto bit će izrađena do kraja svibnja kada budu dostupni svi potrebni prognostički materijali.
Ipak, preliminarni podaci temeljeni na rezultatima numeričkog modela sezonske prognoze Europskog centra za srednjoročne prognoze vremena pokazuju veliku vjerojatnost za iznadprosječnu toplinu tijekom ljeta lipnja, srpnja i kolovoza, pri čemu bi u svakom od tri ljetna mjeseca srednja mjesečna temperatura trebala biti viša od klimatološkog srednjaka. To znači da bi temperature trebale biti iste ili nešto niže nego prošle godine.
Francuska ograničila potrošnju vode
Međutim, preliminarni pokazatelji govore i da bi kiše ovog ljeta moglo biti više nego prošlog. Uz napomenu kako pouzdanost ovakve vrste prognoze nije velika, Mikec ističe da je vjerojatnost za ostvarenje te prognoze umjerena, piše Jutarnji list.

Prošlo ljeto bilo je najtoplije u povijesti, što je potaknulo sušu, najtežu u posljednjih 500 godina. Zasad je situacija najteža u Španjolskoj, gdje su poljoprivrednici izvijestili o gubicima uroda od čak 80 posto, naročito žitarica i uljarica.
Sa svojim rezervoarima na prosječno 50% kapaciteta, zemlja je prošlog tjedna izdvojila više od dvije milijarde eura za financiranje odgovora na hitne situacije. Još uvijek čeka odgovor Europske komisije na svoj zahtjev za korištenjem kriznog fonda od 450 milijuna eura iz proračuna EU za poljoprivredne subvencije. Komisija je rekla da pomno prati situaciju.
"Ozbiljna suša u južnoj Europi posebno je zabrinjavajuća, ne samo za tamošnje poljoprivrednike već i zato što može povećati ionako vrlo visoke potrošačke cijene", rekla je glasnogovornica Komisije Miriam Garcia Ferrer.
Francuska izlazi iz najsušnije zime od 1959. godine, u četiri departmana već je ograničena potrošnja vode koja nije prioritetna.
U Portugalu je otprilike 90 posto teritorija zahvaćeno je sušom, a u dijelovima sjeverne Italije značajno manjka snježne vode i vlage u tlu. Uz tako sasušeno tlo, kiša se ne upija, što ima razorne posljedice. Rog Afrike prolazi kroz najgoru sušu u posljednjih nekoliko desetljeća, dok je povijesna suša u Argentini uništila usjeve soje i kukuruza, piše Index.
