Za svjetski turizam 2020. je najgora godina u povijesti s padom međunarodnih turističkih dolazaka od 74 posto ili za oko milijardu manje nego u 2019., a nastavak ograničenja putovanja i drugih protupandemijskih mjera smanjuje i očekivanja oporavka u 2021., izvijestili su iz Svjetske turističke organizacije-UNWTO.

Takav pad u svjetskom turizmu izravna je posljedica nezabilježenog pada turističke potražnje i ograničenja putovanja diljem svijeta zbog pandemije koronavirusa, ističu iz UNWTO-a na temelju podataka iz svijeta sažetih u novom izdanju njihova Svjetskog turističkog barometra UNWTO-a.

"Kolaps međunarodnih putovanja u 2020. predstavlja i procijenjeni gubitak od izvoznih prihoda turizma od oko 1.300 milijardi američkih dolara (1,3 bilijuna USD), što je više od 11 puta veći gubitak nego je bio tijekom globalne ekonomske krize 2009. godine. Pandemijska kriza izravno je ugrozila između 100 i 120 milijuna radnih mjesta u turizmu, od kojih su mnoga u malim i srednjim poduzećima", navode iz UNWTO-a.

Svjesni su, kako kažu, da je mnogo učinjeno na omogućavanju sigurnih međunarodnih putovanja, ali i da kriza još uvijek nije gotova jer mnoge zemlje početkom 2021. zbog nastavka pandemije ponovno uvode stroža ograničenja putovanja, što uključuje i obvezno testiranje, karantenu, a ponegdje i potpuno zatvaranje granica.

Oprez za 2021., oporavak i dostizanje razine iz 2019. tek 2023. ili 2024.

UNWTO očekuje da će postupno uvođenje cjepiva protiv virusa pomoći povratku povjerenja potrošača, pridonijeti ublažavanju ograničenja putovanja i polako normalizirati putovanja u 2021. godini, no ta su očekivanja u odnosu na jesen 2020. početkom 2021. ipak nešto opreznija.

Tako sada gotovo 50 posto ispitanih stručnjaka 'neki' oporavak očekuju tek 2022., dok ih je tako u listopadu mislilo 21 posto. Preostala polovica još uvijek vidi mogućnosti i u 2021., što je također manje naspram njih gotovo 80 posto koji su u listopadu 2020. vjerovali u oporavak u 2021., za koju sada predviđaju i tek porast domaćeg turizma te potražnje za turističkim aktivnostima na otvorenom i u prirodi.

Gotovo podjednako stručnjaci su u istraživanju UNWTO-a rekli da povratak na predpandemijske razine ne vide prije 2023., njih 43 posto, odnosno prije 2024. i dalje, njih 41 posto, dok ih to u 2022. vidi tek 15 posto, pri čemu iz UNWTO-a iznose i svoj tzv. prošireni scenarij za razdoblje 2021.- 2024., kojim ukazuju da bi moglo proći i dvije i pol do četiri godine da se međunarodni turizam vrati na razinu rekordne 2019. godine.

Azija i Pacifik najpogođenija svjetska regija u 2020., Europa nešto bolja

Komentirajući rezultate iz 2020. po pojedinim svjetskim regijama, iz UNWTO-a naglašavaju da je najpogođenija svjetska regija bila Azija i Tihi ocean, gdje su međunarodni turistički dolasci pali za 84 posto ili za 300 milijuna u odnosu na 2019. To je ujedno i regija koja je prva doživjela pandemiju, a i trenutno ima najvišu razinu ograničenja putovanja.

Slijedi Bliski Istok sa 76 posto manje međunarodnih turističkih dolazaka, te Europa sa godišnjim padom od 71 posto.

Iako je Europa imala, kako kažu iz UNWTO-a, "malo i kratkotrajno oživljavanje turizma u ljeto 2020.", ipak je među svjetskim regijama pretrpjela najveći apsolutni pad, s više od 500 milijuna manje međunarodnih turista u odnosu na 2019.

U Afriku je došlo 70 posto manje međunarodnih turista, a s najmanjim padom, od 69 posto, ističu se Amerike, i to jer su u posljednjem, četvrtom  tromjesečju 2020. imali nešto bolje rezultate nego u prethodnim tromjesečjima.

Za svjetski turizam 2020. je najgora godina u povijesti s padom međunarodnih turističkih dolazaka od 74 posto ili za oko milijardu manje nego u 2019., a nastavak ograničenja putovanja i drugih protupandemijskih mjera smanjuje i očekivanja oporavka u 2021., izvijestili su iz Svjetske turističke organizacije-UNWTO.

Takav pad u svjetskom turizmu izravna je posljedica nezabilježenog pada turističke potražnje i ograničenja putovanja diljem svijeta zbog pandemije koronavirusa, ističu iz UNWTO-a na temelju podataka iz svijeta sažetih u novom izdanju njihova Svjetskog turističkog barometra UNWTO-a.

"Kolaps međunarodnih putovanja u 2020. predstavlja i procijenjeni gubitak od izvoznih prihoda turizma od oko 1.300 milijardi američkih dolara (1,3 bilijuna USD), što je više od 11 puta veći gubitak nego je bio tijekom globalne ekonomske krize 2009. godine. Pandemijska kriza izravno je ugrozila između 100 i 120 milijuna radnih mjesta u turizmu, od kojih su mnoga u malim i srednjim poduzećima", navode iz UNWTO-a.

Svjesni su, kako kažu, da je mnogo učinjeno na omogućavanju sigurnih međunarodnih putovanja, ali i da kriza još uvijek nije gotova jer mnoge zemlje početkom 2021. zbog nastavka pandemije ponovno uvode stroža ograničenja putovanja, što uključuje i obvezno testiranje, karantenu, a ponegdje i potpuno zatvaranje granica.

Oprez za 2021., oporavak i dostizanje razine iz 2019. tek 2023. ili 2024.

UNWTO očekuje da će postupno uvođenje cjepiva protiv virusa pomoći povratku povjerenja potrošača, pridonijeti ublažavanju ograničenja putovanja i polako normalizirati putovanja u 2021. godini, no ta su očekivanja u odnosu na jesen 2020. početkom 2021. ipak nešto opreznija.

Tako sada gotovo 50 posto ispitanih stručnjaka 'neki' oporavak očekuju tek 2022., dok ih je tako u listopadu mislilo 21 posto. Preostala polovica još uvijek vidi mogućnosti i u 2021., što je također manje naspram njih gotovo 80 posto koji su u listopadu 2020. vjerovali u oporavak u 2021., za koju sada predviđaju i tek porast domaćeg turizma te potražnje za turističkim aktivnostima na otvorenom i u prirodi.

Gotovo podjednako stručnjaci su u istraživanju UNWTO-a rekli da povratak na predpandemijske razine ne vide prije 2023., njih 43 posto, odnosno prije 2024. i dalje, njih 41 posto, dok ih to u 2022. vidi tek 15 posto, pri čemu iz UNWTO-a iznose i svoj tzv. prošireni scenarij za razdoblje 2021.- 2024., kojim ukazuju da bi moglo proći i dvije i pol do četiri godine da se međunarodni turizam vrati na razinu rekordne 2019. godine.

Azija i Pacifik najpogođenija svjetska regija u 2020., Europa nešto bolja

Komentirajući rezultate iz 2020. po pojedinim svjetskim regijama, iz UNWTO-a naglašavaju da je najpogođenija svjetska regija bila Azija i Tihi ocean, gdje su međunarodni turistički dolasci pali za 84 posto ili za 300 milijuna u odnosu na 2019. To je ujedno i regija koja je prva doživjela pandemiju, a i trenutno ima najvišu razinu ograničenja putovanja.

Slijedi Bliski Istok sa 76 posto manje međunarodnih turističkih dolazaka, te Europa sa godišnjim padom od 71 posto.

Iako je Europa imala, kako kažu iz UNWTO-a, "malo i kratkotrajno oživljavanje turizma u ljeto 2020.", ipak je među svjetskim regijama pretrpjela najveći apsolutni pad, s više od 500 milijuna manje međunarodnih turista u odnosu na 2019.

U Afriku je došlo 70 posto manje međunarodnih turista, a s najmanjim padom, od 69 posto, ističu se Amerike, i to jer su u posljednjem, četvrtom  tromjesečju 2020. imali nešto bolje rezultate nego u prethodnim tromjesečjima.

Za turizam je 2020. bila najgora godina u povijesti, i očekivanja za 2021. sve su opreznija: ‘Mnogo je učinjeno, ali kriza još nije gotova...‘

Za svjetski turizam 2020. je najgora godina u povijesti s padom međunarodnih turističkih dolazaka od 74 posto ili za oko milijardu manje nego u 2019., a nastavak ograničenja putovanja i drugih protupandemijskih mjera smanjuje i očekivanja oporavka u 2021., izvijestili su iz Svjetske turističke organizacije-UNWTO.

Takav pad u svjetskom turizmu izravna je posljedica nezabilježenog pada turističke potražnje i ograničenja putovanja diljem svijeta zbog pandemije koronavirusa, ističu iz UNWTO-a na temelju podataka iz svijeta sažetih u novom izdanju njihova Svjetskog turističkog barometra UNWTO-a.

"Kolaps međunarodnih putovanja u 2020. predstavlja i procijenjeni gubitak od izvoznih prihoda turizma od oko 1.300 milijardi američkih dolara (1,3 bilijuna USD), što je više od 11 puta veći gubitak nego je bio tijekom globalne ekonomske krize 2009. godine. Pandemijska kriza izravno je ugrozila između 100 i 120 milijuna radnih mjesta u turizmu, od kojih su mnoga u malim i srednjim poduzećima", navode iz UNWTO-a.

Svjesni su, kako kažu, da je mnogo učinjeno na omogućavanju sigurnih međunarodnih putovanja, ali i da kriza još uvijek nije gotova jer mnoge zemlje početkom 2021. zbog nastavka pandemije ponovno uvode stroža ograničenja putovanja, što uključuje i obvezno testiranje, karantenu, a ponegdje i potpuno zatvaranje granica.

Oprez za 2021., oporavak i dostizanje razine iz 2019. tek 2023. ili 2024.

UNWTO očekuje da će postupno uvođenje cjepiva protiv virusa pomoći povratku povjerenja potrošača, pridonijeti ublažavanju ograničenja putovanja i polako normalizirati putovanja u 2021. godini, no ta su očekivanja u odnosu na jesen 2020. početkom 2021. ipak nešto opreznija.

Tako sada gotovo 50 posto ispitanih stručnjaka 'neki' oporavak očekuju tek 2022., dok ih je tako u listopadu mislilo 21 posto. Preostala polovica još uvijek vidi mogućnosti i u 2021., što je također manje naspram njih gotovo 80 posto koji su u listopadu 2020. vjerovali u oporavak u 2021., za koju sada predviđaju i tek porast domaćeg turizma te potražnje za turističkim aktivnostima na otvorenom i u prirodi.
