Norveška je izrazila veliku zabrinutost oko sigurnosti Pfizerova cjepiva za starije ljude s ozbiljnim zdravstvenim problemima nakon što je procijenjeni broj umrlih nakon cijepljenja porastao na 29 - piše Tportal.
Naime, još šest novih smrtnih slučajeva pridodano je u subotu ukupnom broju smrti koje se povezuju s primanjem cjepiva protiv koronavirusa. Također dobna skupina na koju bi cjepivo moglo djelovati na taj način snižena je s 80 na 75 godina.
Norveška je za sada cijepila jednom dozom oko 42.000 ljudi, a zemlja se usredotočila na one koji se smatraju najugroženijima ako se zaraze virusom, što uključuje starije osobe.
Do petka je cjepivo koje su proizveli Pfizer i BioNTech SE bilo jedino dostupno u Norveškoj, a 'tako su svi smrtni slučajevi povezani s ovim cjepivom' - objavila je Norveška agencija za lijekove u pisanom odgovoru za Bloomberg u subotu.

Većina ljudi iskusila je očekivane nuspojave cjepiva, poput mučnine i povraćanja, povišene temperature, reakcija na mjestu ubrizgavanja i pogoršanja općeg stanja.
Norveško iskustvo ne znači da bi mlađi, zdraviji ljudi trebali izbjegavati cijepljenje.
Emer Cooke, novi ravnatelj Europske agencije za lijekove, rekao je za Bloomberg da bi praćenje sigurnosti cjepiva protiv korone, posebno onih koji se oslanjaju na nove tehnologije poput glasničke RNA, bio jedan od najvećih izazova nakon što počne široka distribucija cjepiva po svijetu.
Iako su dva do sada odobrena cjepiva protiv korone u Europi testirana na desecima tisuća ljudi - uključujući dobrovoljce u kasnim 80-ima i 90-ima - prosječni sudionik ispitivanja bio je u ranim 50-im godinama. Naime, još šest novih smrtnih slučajeva pridodano je u subotu ukupnom broju smrti koje se povezuju s primanjem cjepiva protiv koronavirusa. Također dobna skupina na koju bi cjepivo moglo djelovati na taj način snižena je s 80 na 75 godina.
Norveška je za sada cijepila jednom dozom oko 42.000 ljudi, a zemlja se usredotočila na one koji se smatraju najugroženijima ako se zaraze virusom, što uključuje starije osobe.
Do petka je cjepivo koje su proizveli Pfizer i BioNTech SE bilo jedino dostupno u Norveškoj, a 'tako su svi smrtni slučajevi povezani s ovim cjepivom' - objavila je Norveška agencija za lijekove u pisanom odgovoru za Bloomberg u subotu.

Većina ljudi iskusila je očekivane nuspojave cjepiva, poput mučnine i povraćanja, povišene temperature, reakcija na mjestu ubrizgavanja i pogoršanja općeg stanja.
Norveško iskustvo ne znači da bi mlađi, zdraviji ljudi trebali izbjegavati cijepljenje.
Emer Cooke, novi ravnatelj Europske agencije za lijekove, rekao je za Bloomberg da bi praćenje sigurnosti cjepiva protiv korone, posebno onih koji se oslanjaju na nove tehnologije poput glasničke RNA, bio jedan od najvećih izazova nakon što počne široka distribucija cjepiva po svijetu.
Iako su dva do sada odobrena cjepiva protiv korone u Europi testirana na desecima tisuća ljudi - uključujući dobrovoljce u kasnim 80-ima i 90-ima - prosječni sudionik ispitivanja bio je u ranim 50-im godinama. Prvi ljudi koji su cijepljeni na mnogim mjestima stariji su od toga jer zemlje žure da cijepe stanovnike domova za starije osobe koje imaju visokim rizik od lošeg ishoda ako se zaraze virusom.
