Sloboda i pravo na izbor u pandemijskim su vremenima dobili i posve profanu dimenziju – testiranje kao alternativa cijepljenju, pod egidom upravo ovih demokratskih načela, ima svoju nimalo idealističnu cijenu. Nakon što je polovicom studenog stupila na snagu odluka Stožera civilne zaštite o obvezi testiranja za pristup radnome mjestu za sve javne, državne i lokalne službenike te namještenike koji nisu cijepljeni ili nisu preboljeli COVID-19 (koji nemaju digitalne putovnice) stižu i prvi računi. Poslodavac država, naime, obvezala se svim „svojim“ zaposlenicima koji su izabrali testiranje refundirati te troškove, da to banalno prevedemo: na račun poreznih obveznika odlučila im je plaćati testiranje.

U resoru Ministarstva znanosti i obrazovanja, u kojemu je oko 86 tisuća zaposlenih, taj luksuz zasad izgleda ovako: za dva posljednja tjedna studenog Ministarstvo će školama, odnosno zaposlenicima koji se testiraju (najmanje dva puta u sedam dana) morati pokriti troškove nešto više od 2,5 milijuna kuna. Većina tog novca odnosi se na zaposlene u sustavu osnovnoga i srednjeg školstva – ukupno oko 2,4 milijuna kuna, koliko je koštalo testiranje 9280 djelatnika iz tih dvaju sustava. To znači da je u spomenutom razdoblju u osnovnim i srednjim školama testiranje izabralo oko 13,4 posto djelatnika. Nešto su manje brojke u sustavu znanosti, gdje se redovito testira 137 zaposlenika (oko 5,2 posto) te na visokim učilištima gdje ih je 238 (minornih 1,5 posto).

Dva i pol milijuna kuna u odnosu na prvotno procijenjenih gotovo devet milijuna kuna za testiranje učitelja, profesora i znanstvenika samo naizgled može zazvučati optimistično. Osim toga, reći će neki od njih, država je to nametnula pa neka plaća.

Ali, usudimo se postaviti i jedno posve banalno pitanje: je li za taj novac možda neka škola mogla dobiti novi kabinet za kemiju ili fiziku, je li negdje bilo moguće urediti školsko igralište, možda ostalim kolegama platiti stručna usavršavanja? Ne zaboravimo da testiranje u ovim vremenima nije jedini dodatni trošak. Iz škola prenose kako je određeni dio „pobunjenika“ koji u ime viših ciljeva odbija i cijepljenje i testiranje otvorio - bolovanje. Ondje gdje ih ne može zamijeniti netko od kolega moraju se zaposliti novi ljudi. To sve stvara dodatni trošak. Prema učenicima/studentima i kolegama koji stoički podnose gotovo dvije godine stalnog balansiranja između virtualne i nastave uživo iznimno nekorektno. Kao i prema onima na čiji trošak idu svi ti ideali.

Sloboda i pravo na izbor u pandemijskim su vremenima dobili i posve profanu dimenziju – testiranje kao alternativa cijepljenju, pod egidom upravo ovih demokratskih načela, ima svoju nimalo idealističnu cijenu. Nakon što je polovicom studenog stupila na snagu odluka Stožera civilne zaštite o obvezi testiranja za pristup radnome mjestu za sve javne, državne i lokalne službenike te namještenike koji nisu cijepljeni ili nisu preboljeli COVID-19 (koji nemaju digitalne putovnice) stižu i prvi računi. Poslodavac država, naime, obvezala se svim „svojim“ zaposlenicima koji su izabrali testiranje refundirati te troškove, da to banalno prevedemo: na račun poreznih obveznika odlučila im je plaćati testiranje.

U resoru Ministarstva znanosti i obrazovanja, u kojemu je oko 86 tisuća zaposlenih, taj luksuz zasad izgleda ovako: za dva posljednja tjedna studenog Ministarstvo će školama, odnosno zaposlenicima koji se testiraju (najmanje dva puta u sedam dana) morati pokriti troškove nešto više od 2,5 milijuna kuna. Većina tog novca odnosi se na zaposlene u sustavu osnovnoga i srednjeg školstva – ukupno oko 2,4 milijuna kuna, koliko je koštalo testiranje 9280 djelatnika iz tih dvaju sustava. To znači da je u spomenutom razdoblju u osnovnim i srednjim školama testiranje izabralo oko 13,4 posto djelatnika. Nešto su manje brojke u sustavu znanosti, gdje se redovito testira 137 zaposlenika (oko 5,2 posto) te na visokim učilištima gdje ih je 238 (minornih 1,5 posto).

Dva i pol milijuna kuna u odnosu na prvotno procijenjenih gotovo devet milijuna kuna za testiranje učitelja, profesora i znanstvenika samo naizgled može zazvučati optimistično. Osim toga, reći će neki od njih, država je to nametnula pa neka plaća.

Ali, usudimo se postaviti i jedno posve banalno pitanje: je li za taj novac možda neka škola mogla dobiti novi kabinet za kemiju ili fiziku, je li negdje bilo moguće urediti školsko igralište, možda ostalim kolegama platiti stručna usavršavanja? Ne zaboravimo da testiranje u ovim vremenima nije jedini dodatni trošak. Iz škola prenose kako je određeni dio „pobunjenika“ koji u ime viših ciljeva odbija i cijepljenje i testiranje otvorio - bolovanje. Ondje gdje ih ne može zamijeniti netko od kolega moraju se zaposliti novi ljudi. To sve stvara dodatni trošak. Prema učenicima/studentima i kolegama koji stoički podnose gotovo dvije godine stalnog balansiranja između virtualne i nastave uživo iznimno nekorektno. Kao i prema onima na čiji trošak idu svi ti ideali.

Testiranje kao alternativa cijepljenju ima svoju cijenu: evo koliko su porezni obveznici dosad ‘iz svog džepa‘ platili testove zaposlenika u školama

Sloboda i pravo na izbor u pandemijskim su vremenima dobili i posve profanu dimenziju – testiranje kao alternativa cijepljenju, pod egidom upravo ovih demokratskih načela, ima svoju nimalo idealističnu cijenu. Nakon što je polovicom studenog stupila na snagu odluka Stožera civilne zaštite o obvezi testiranja za pristup radnome mjestu za sve javne, državne i lokalne službenike te namještenike koji nisu cijepljeni ili nisu preboljeli COVID-19 (koji nemaju digitalne putovnice) stižu i prvi računi. Poslodavac država, naime, obvezala se svim „svojim“ zaposlenicima koji su izabrali testiranje refundirati te troškove, da to banalno prevedemo: na račun poreznih obveznika odlučila im je plaćati testiranje.

U resoru Ministarstva znanosti i obrazovanja, u kojemu je oko 86 tisuća zaposlenih, taj luksuz zasad izgleda ovako: za dva posljednja tjedna studenog Ministarstvo će školama, odnosno zaposlenicima koji se testiraju (najmanje dva puta u sedam dana) morati pokriti troškove nešto više od 2,5 milijuna kuna. Većina tog novca odnosi se na zaposlene u sustavu osnovnoga i srednjeg školstva – ukupno oko 2,4 milijuna kuna, koliko je koštalo testiranje 9280 djelatnika iz tih dvaju sustava. To znači da je u spomenutom razdoblju u osnovnim i srednjim školama testiranje izabralo oko 13,4 posto djelatnika. Nešto su manje brojke u sustavu znanosti, gdje se redovito testira 137 zaposlenika (oko 5,2 posto) te na visokim učilištima gdje ih je 238 (minornih 1,5 posto).

Dva i pol milijuna kuna u odnosu na prvotno procijenjenih gotovo devet milijuna kuna za testiranje učitelja, profesora i znanstvenika samo naizgled može zazvučati optimistično. Osim toga, reći će neki od njih, država je to nametnula pa neka plaća.

Ali, usudimo se postaviti i jedno posve banalno pitanje: je li za taj novac možda neka škola mogla dobiti novi kabinet za kemiju ili fiziku, je li negdje bilo moguće urediti školsko igralište, možda ostalim kolegama platiti stručna usavršavanja? Ne zaboravimo da testiranje u ovim vremenima nije jedini dodatni trošak. Iz škola prenose kako je određeni dio „pobunjenika“ koji u ime viših ciljeva odbija i cijepljenje i testiranje otvorio - bolovanje. Ondje gdje ih ne može zamijeniti netko od kolega moraju se zaposliti novi ljudi. To sve stvara dodatni trošak. Prema učenicima/studentima i kolegama koji stoički podnose gotovo dvije godine stalnog balansiranja između virtualne i nastave uživo iznimno nekorektno. Kao i prema onima na čiji trošak idu svi ti ideali.
