Američki general ratnog zrakoplovstva ocijenio je da će SAD unutar naredne dvije godine zaratiti s Kinom, no Pentagon je priopćio da njegove izjave usklađene s američkim vojnim procjenama.

"Nadam se da sam u krivu, no imam osjećaj da ćemo 2025. zaratiti", napisao je general Mike Minihan u svom dopisu časnicima Zapovjedništva za zračnu mobilnost na čijem je čelu.

Zapovjedništvo zračne mobilnosti broji 50.000 pripadnika i skoro 500 zrakoplova, a odgovorno je za prijevoz i opskrbu gorivom.
Iako njegova procjena ne odražava procjenu Pentagona, ona pokazuje da među visokim časnicima američke vojske postoji zabrinutost da bi Kina mogla pokušati preuzeti kontrolu nad Tajvanom, otokom koji Peking smatra svojim teritorijem.

I SAD i Tajvan 2024. očekuju predsjednički izbori, što bi moglo stvoriti priliku da Kina poduzme vojnu akciju, napisao je Minihan.
"Te primjedbe ne odražavaju stajalište ministarstva obrane o Kini", kazao je dužnosnik ministarstva.

Američki ministar obrane Lloyd Austin rekao je početkom mjeseca da pojačane kineske vojne aktivnosti kod Tajvanskog tjesnaca nisu znak predstojeće invazije Pekinga.

Brigadni general ratnog zrakoplovstva Patrick Ryder je komentirao da je vojno suparništvo s Kinom i dalje jedan od glavnih izazova te da je glavni fokus surađivati sa saveznicima i partnerima kako bi Indopacifik ostao miran, slobodan i otvoren.

Američki general ratnog zrakoplovstva ocijenio je da će SAD unutar naredne dvije godine zaratiti s Kinom, no Pentagon je priopćio da njegove izjave usklađene s američkim vojnim procjenama.

"Nadam se da sam u krivu, no imam osjećaj da ćemo 2025. zaratiti", napisao je general Mike Minihan u svom dopisu časnicima Zapovjedništva za zračnu mobilnost na čijem je čelu.

Zapovjedništvo zračne mobilnosti broji 50.000 pripadnika i skoro 500 zrakoplova, a odgovorno je za prijevoz i opskrbu gorivom.
Iako njegova procjena ne odražava procjenu Pentagona, ona pokazuje da među visokim časnicima američke vojske postoji zabrinutost da bi Kina mogla pokušati preuzeti kontrolu nad Tajvanom, otokom koji Peking smatra svojim teritorijem.

I SAD i Tajvan 2024. očekuju predsjednički izbori, što bi moglo stvoriti priliku da Kina poduzme vojnu akciju, napisao je Minihan.
"Te primjedbe ne odražavaju stajalište ministarstva obrane o Kini", kazao je dužnosnik ministarstva.

Američki ministar obrane Lloyd Austin rekao je početkom mjeseca da pojačane kineske vojne aktivnosti kod Tajvanskog tjesnaca nisu znak predstojeće invazije Pekinga.

Brigadni general ratnog zrakoplovstva Patrick Ryder je komentirao da je vojno suparništvo s Kinom i dalje jedan od glavnih izazova te da je glavni fokus surađivati sa saveznicima i partnerima kako bi Indopacifik ostao miran, slobodan i otvoren.

Američki general ratnog zrakoplovstva ocijenio je da će SAD unutar naredne dvije godine zaratiti s Kinom, no Pentagon je priopćio da njegove izjave usklađene s američkim vojnim procjenama.

"Nadam se da sam u krivu, no imam osjećaj da ćemo 2025. zaratiti", napisao je general Mike Minihan u svom dopisu časnicima Zapovjedništva za zračnu mobilnost na čijem je čelu.

Zapovjedništvo zračne mobilnosti broji 50.000 pripadnika i skoro 500 zrakoplova, a odgovorno je za prijevoz i opskrbu gorivom.
Iako njegova procjena ne odražava procjenu Pentagona, ona pokazuje da među visokim časnicima američke vojske postoji zabrinutost da bi Kina mogla pokušati preuzeti kontrolu nad Tajvanom, otokom koji Peking smatra svojim teritorijem.

I SAD i Tajvan 2024. očekuju predsjednički izbori, što bi moglo stvoriti priliku da Kina poduzme vojnu akciju, napisao je Minihan.
"Te primjedbe ne odražavaju stajalište ministarstva obrane o Kini", kazao je dužnosnik ministarstva.

Američki ministar obrane Lloyd Austin rekao je početkom mjeseca da pojačane kineske vojne aktivnosti kod Tajvanskog tjesnaca nisu znak predstojeće invazije Pekinga.

Brigadni general ratnog zrakoplovstva Patrick Ryder je komentirao da je vojno suparništvo s Kinom i dalje jedan od glavnih izazova te da je glavni fokus surađivati sa saveznicima i partnerima kako bi Indopacifik ostao miran, slobodan i otvoren.
