Farmaceutski div AstraZeneca pauzirao je ispitivanje cjepiva protiv covida-19 nakon "neobjašnjive bolesti jednog od sudionika", rekao je glasnogovornik tvrtke u utorak.

Tvrtka razvija cjepivo u suradnji s britanskim sveučilištem Oxford koje je počelo kasnu fazu testiranja prošli tjedan. To se cjepivo smatralo jednim od vodećih globalnih kandidata protiv koronavirusa.

Prema portalu za medicinske vijesti Stat News, uočena je ozbiljna nuspojava kod jednog od sudionika britanskoga ispitivanja.
Tvrtka je dobrovoljno prestala s ispitivanjem oxfordskog cjepiva kako bi razmotrila podatke o sigurnosti i istražila, nazvavši to rutinskom akcijom u takvom istraživanju.

"U velikim ispitivanjima bolesti se mogu slučajno dogoditi, ali to se mora neovisno razmotriti kako bi se pažljivo provjerilo. Radimo na ubrzavanju provjere svakog pojedinog događaja kako bismo minimizirali utjecaj na raspored ispitivanja", naglasio je glasnogovornik u mailu.

Priroda bolesti i kada je do nje došlo nije objavljeno, ali se očekuje da će se oboljeli sudionik ispitivanja oporaviti, navodi Stat News.

AstraZeneca je jedna od devet farmaceutskih tvrtki koje su u utorak obećale "zadržati integritet znanstvenog procesa" dok se suočavaju s pritiskom da što prije proizvedu cjepivo.

Može trajati godinama dok se cjepivo ne razvije, no mnoge zemlje ubrzale su napore u pokušaju da se uspori pandemija koronavirusa.

Ranija istraživanja u koje je bilo uključeno više od 1000 ljudi pokazala su da je cjepivo sigurno i da proizvodi imunitet.

U oxfordsko cjepivo polažu se velike nade, a u EU je već osigurao pravo na kupnju do 400 milijuna doza u slučaju njegova odobrenja.

Farmaceutski div AstraZeneca pauzirao je ispitivanje cjepiva protiv covida-19 nakon "neobjašnjive bolesti jednog od sudionika", rekao je glasnogovornik tvrtke u utorak.

Tvrtka razvija cjepivo u suradnji s britanskim sveučilištem Oxford koje je počelo kasnu fazu testiranja prošli tjedan. To se cjepivo smatralo jednim od vodećih globalnih kandidata protiv koronavirusa.

Prema portalu za medicinske vijesti Stat News, uočena je ozbiljna nuspojava kod jednog od sudionika britanskoga ispitivanja.
Tvrtka je dobrovoljno prestala s ispitivanjem oxfordskog cjepiva kako bi razmotrila podatke o sigurnosti i istražila, nazvavši to rutinskom akcijom u takvom istraživanju.

"U velikim ispitivanjima bolesti se mogu slučajno dogoditi, ali to se mora neovisno razmotriti kako bi se pažljivo provjerilo. Radimo na ubrzavanju provjere svakog pojedinog događaja kako bismo minimizirali utjecaj na raspored ispitivanja", naglasio je glasnogovornik u mailu.

Priroda bolesti i kada je do nje došlo nije objavljeno, ali se očekuje da će se oboljeli sudionik ispitivanja oporaviti, navodi Stat News.

AstraZeneca je jedna od devet farmaceutskih tvrtki koje su u utorak obećale "zadržati integritet znanstvenog procesa" dok se suočavaju s pritiskom da što prije proizvedu cjepivo.

Može trajati godinama dok se cjepivo ne razvije, no mnoge zemlje ubrzale su napore u pokušaju da se uspori pandemija koronavirusa.

Ranija istraživanja u koje je bilo uključeno više od 1000 ljudi pokazala su da je cjepivo sigurno i da proizvodi imunitet.

U oxfordsko cjepivo polažu se velike nade, a u EU je već osigurao pravo na kupnju do 400 milijuna doza u slučaju njegova odobrenja.

Privremeno zaustavljeno ispitivanje cjepiva AstraZenece protiv covida-19 u koje su se polagale velike nade

Farmaceutski div AstraZeneca pauzirao je ispitivanje cjepiva protiv covida-19 nakon "neobjašnjive bolesti jednog od sudionika", rekao je glasnogovornik tvrtke u utorak.

Tvrtka razvija cjepivo u suradnji s britanskim sveučilištem Oxford koje je počelo kasnu fazu testiranja prošli tjedan. To se cjepivo smatralo jednim od vodećih globalnih kandidata protiv koronavirusa.

Prema portalu za medicinske vijesti Stat News, uočena je ozbiljna nuspojava kod jednog od sudionika britanskoga ispitivanja.
Tvrtka je dobrovoljno prestala s ispitivanjem oxfordskog cjepiva kako bi razmotrila podatke o sigurnosti i istražila, nazvavši to rutinskom akcijom u takvom istraživanju.

"U velikim ispitivanjima bolesti se mogu slučajno dogoditi, ali to se mora neovisno razmotriti kako bi se pažljivo provjerilo. Radimo na ubrzavanju provjere svakog pojedinog događaja kako bismo minimizirali utjecaj na raspored ispitivanja", naglasio je glasnogovornik u mailu.

Priroda bolesti i kada je do nje došlo nije objavljeno, ali se očekuje da će se oboljeli sudionik ispitivanja oporaviti, navodi Stat News.

AstraZeneca je jedna od devet farmaceutskih tvrtki koje su u utorak obećale "zadržati integritet znanstvenog procesa" dok se suočavaju s pritiskom da što prije proizvedu cjepivo.

Može trajati godinama dok se cjepivo ne razvije, no mnoge zemlje ubrzale su napore u pokušaju da se uspori pandemija koronavirusa.

Ranija istraživanja u koje je bilo uključeno više od 1000 ljudi pokazala su da je cjepivo sigurno i da proizvodi imunitet.

U oxfordsko cjepivo polažu se velike nade, a u EU je već osigurao pravo na kupnju do 400 milijuna doza u slučaju njegova odobrenja.
