Novi, ljetni val zaraze koronavirusom i njegov utjecaj još su neizvjesni. Zasad se zna da se novi sojevi omikrona BA.4 i BA.5 uglavnom smatraju odgovornima za porast broja zaraženih u nekoliko europskih zemalja, nakon Južnoafričke Republike i Portugala.
Te nove podvarijante omikrona, koje su znanstvenici identificirali još početkom travnja u Bocvani i Južnoafričkoj Republici, vrlo vjerojatno su se pojavile između sredine prosinca i početka siječnja.
S obzirom na to da su postale dominante u većem dijelu Južnoafričke Republike, a zatim i u Portugalu, u tim su dvjema državama izazvale nove valove epidemije.
U Južnoafričkoj Republici, "u kojoj su podvarijante BA.4 i BA.5 otkrivene i gdje danas dominira zaraza podvarijantom BA.4, vrhunac epidemijskog vala uočen je sredinom svibnja i njegov je utjecaj bio vrlo umjeren.
No u Portugalu sada prevladava zaraza podvarijantom BA.5, a liječnici kažu da se incidencija povećava, no da je još uvijek na nižoj razini od prethodnoga vala”, stoji u sažetku Francuske nacionalne agencije za javno zdravstvo, objavljenom u petak.
Odnedavno se i drugdje uočava povećan broj zaraženih i sve više slučajeva zaraze novim podvarijantama omikrona. 
U Francuskoj postupno prevladavaju podvarijante BA.4 i BA.5, u odnosu na BA.2, koja je ondje dominirala od početka godine donedavno.
Situacija je slična u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu i u Njemačkoj. Stručnjaci kažu da među zaraženima dosad nije identificirana podvarijanta BA.3.
Glasnogovornica francuske vlade Olivia Grégoire u srijedu je, nakon sastanka Vijeća ministara govorila o blagome povratku epidemije koronavirusa te je istaknula da su zdravstvene vlasti "na oprezu" i da zasad "nema mjesta za zabrinutost".
Najnoviji tjedni podaci francuskoga javnog zdravstva potvrđuju informaciju o povećanom broju slučajeva zaraze i o sve više zaraženih novim podvarijantama omikrona.
Stručnjaci kažu da takvome razvoju situacije pridonosi i popuštanje javnozdravstvenih mjera te ističu kako se čini da se obje najnovije podvarijante omikrona šire još brže od njegovih prethodnih podvarijanti.

Hoće li ljeto, sinonim za brojnije aktivnosti na otvorenom, pridonijeti da se spriječi potencijalno širenje epidemije?
“Ljeti možemo računati na manju incidenciju širenja zaraze nego zimi, no to godišnje doba samo po sebi ne može utjecati ni spriječiti novi val zaraze, a to smo mogli vidjeti u slučaju širenja delta varijante koronavirusa u srpnju 2021., kada smo imali četvrti val", kažu epidemiolozi. 
Zasad nema dokaza o povećanoj zabrinutosti zbog širenja podvarijanti BA.4 ili BA.5 u usporedbi s ostalim podvarijantama omikrona, tvrde francuski znanstvenici, no dodaju da je "još prerano za preciznije podatke".

Novi, ljetni val zaraze koronavirusom i njegov utjecaj još su neizvjesni. Zasad se zna da se novi sojevi omikrona BA.4 i BA.5 uglavnom smatraju odgovornima za porast broja zaraženih u nekoliko europskih zemalja, nakon Južnoafričke Republike i Portugala.
Te nove podvarijante omikrona, koje su znanstvenici identificirali još početkom travnja u Bocvani i Južnoafričkoj Republici, vrlo vjerojatno su se pojavile između sredine prosinca i početka siječnja.
S obzirom na to da su postale dominante u većem dijelu Južnoafričke Republike, a zatim i u Portugalu, u tim su dvjema državama izazvale nove valove epidemije.
U Južnoafričkoj Republici, "u kojoj su podvarijante BA.4 i BA.5 otkrivene i gdje danas dominira zaraza podvarijantom BA.4, vrhunac epidemijskog vala uočen je sredinom svibnja i njegov je utjecaj bio vrlo umjeren.
No u Portugalu sada prevladava zaraza podvarijantom BA.5, a liječnici kažu da se incidencija povećava, no da je još uvijek na nižoj razini od prethodnoga vala”, stoji u sažetku Francuske nacionalne agencije za javno zdravstvo, objavljenom u petak.
Odnedavno se i drugdje uočava povećan broj zaraženih i sve više slučajeva zaraze novim podvarijantama omikrona. 
U Francuskoj postupno prevladavaju podvarijante BA.4 i BA.5, u odnosu na BA.2, koja je ondje dominirala od početka godine donedavno.
Situacija je slična u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu i u Njemačkoj. Stručnjaci kažu da među zaraženima dosad nije identificirana podvarijanta BA.3.
Glasnogovornica francuske vlade Olivia Grégoire u srijedu je, nakon sastanka Vijeća ministara govorila o blagome povratku epidemije koronavirusa te je istaknula da su zdravstvene vlasti "na oprezu" i da zasad "nema mjesta za zabrinutost".
Najnoviji tjedni podaci francuskoga javnog zdravstva potvrđuju informaciju o povećanom broju slučajeva zaraze i o sve više zaraženih novim podvarijantama omikrona.
Stručnjaci kažu da takvome razvoju situacije pridonosi i popuštanje javnozdravstvenih mjera te ističu kako se čini da se obje najnovije podvarijante omikrona šire još brže od njegovih prethodnih podvarijanti.

Hoće li ljeto, sinonim za brojnije aktivnosti na otvorenom, pridonijeti da se spriječi potencijalno širenje epidemije?
“Ljeti možemo računati na manju incidenciju širenja zaraze nego zimi, no to godišnje doba samo po sebi ne može utjecati ni spriječiti novi val zaraze, a to smo mogli vidjeti u slučaju širenja delta varijante koronavirusa u srpnju 2021., kada smo imali četvrti val", kažu epidemiolozi. 
Zasad nema dokaza o povećanoj zabrinutosti zbog širenja podvarijanti BA.4 ili BA.5 u usporedbi s ostalim podvarijantama omikrona, tvrde francuski znanstvenici, no dodaju da je "još prerano za preciznije podatke".

Novi sojevi omikrona odgovorni za porast broja zaraženih, ljeto bi moglo donijeti novi val zaraze

Novi, ljetni val zaraze koronavirusom i njegov utjecaj još su neizvjesni. Zasad se zna da se novi sojevi omikrona BA.4 i BA.5 uglavnom smatraju odgovornima za porast broja zaraženih u nekoliko europskih zemalja, nakon Južnoafričke Republike i Portugala.
Te nove podvarijante omikrona, koje su znanstvenici identificirali još početkom travnja u Bocvani i Južnoafričkoj Republici, vrlo vjerojatno su se pojavile između sredine prosinca i početka siječnja.
S obzirom na to da su postale dominante u većem dijelu Južnoafričke Republike, a zatim i u Portugalu, u tim su dvjema državama izazvale nove valove epidemije.
U Južnoafričkoj Republici, "u kojoj su podvarijante BA.4 i BA.5 otkrivene i gdje danas dominira zaraza podvarijantom BA.4, vrhunac epidemijskog vala uočen je sredinom svibnja i njegov je utjecaj bio vrlo umjeren.
No u Portugalu sada prevladava zaraza podvarijantom BA.5, a liječnici kažu da se incidencija povećava, no da je još uvijek na nižoj razini od prethodnoga vala”, stoji u sažetku Francuske nacionalne agencije za javno zdravstvo, objavljenom u petak.
Odnedavno se i drugdje uočava povećan broj zaraženih i sve više slučajeva zaraze novim podvarijantama omikrona. 
U Francuskoj postupno prevladavaju podvarijante BA.4 i BA.5, u odnosu na BA.2, koja je ondje dominirala od početka godine donedavno.
Situacija je slična u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu i u Njemačkoj. Stručnjaci kažu da među zaraženima dosad nije identificirana podvarijanta BA.3.
Glasnogovornica francuske vlade Olivia Grégoire u srijedu je, nakon sastanka Vijeća ministara govorila o blagome povratku epidemije koronavirusa te je istaknula da su zdravstvene vlasti "na oprezu" i da zasad "nema mjesta za zabrinutost".
Najnoviji tjedni podaci francuskoga javnog zdravstva potvrđuju informaciju o povećanom broju slučajeva zaraze i o sve više zaraženih novim podvarijantama omikrona.
Stručnjaci kažu da takvome razvoju situacije pridonosi i popuštanje javnozdravstvenih mjera te ističu kako se čini da se obje najnovije podvarijante omikrona šire još brže od njegovih prethodnih podvarijanti.

Hoće li ljeto, sinonim za brojnije aktivnosti na otvorenom, pridonijeti da se spriječi potencijalno širenje epidemije?
“Ljeti možemo računati na manju incidenciju širenja zaraze nego zimi, no to godišnje doba samo po sebi ne može utjecati ni spriječiti novi val zaraze, a to smo mogli vidjeti u slučaju širenja delta varijante koronavirusa u srpnju 2021., kada smo imali četvrti val", kažu epidemiolozi. 
Zasad nema dokaza o povećanoj zabrinutosti zbog širenja podvarijanti BA.4 ili BA.5 u usporedbi s ostalim podvarijantama omikrona, tvrde francuski znanstvenici, no dodaju da je "još prerano za preciznije podatke".
