Globalni kibernetički napad u petak pogodio je više od 200.000 žrtava u najmanje 150 zemalja, rekao je u nedjelju direktor Europola, dodajući kako bi brojka mogla biti i veća kada se ljudi u ponedjeljak vrate na posao.
Rob Wainwright rekao je za ITV da je taj napad specifičan po tome što je ucjenjivački softver (ransomware) korišten u kombinaciji s takozvanim funkcijom crva tako da se zaraza širila automatski.

"Globalni dosezi su nezapamćeni. Posljednji podaci govore o preko 200.000 žrtava u najmanje 150 zemalja, a među tim žrtvama mnoge će biti poduzeća, uključujući velike korporacije", rekao je.
"U ovom trenutku suočeni smo s eskalirajućom prijetnjom. Brojke rastu, bojim se da će nastaviti rasti kada se ljudi u ponedjeljak ujutro vrate na posao i upale računala", dodao je.
Stiže novi napad
MalwareTech kompanija postala je „slučajni heroj“ u cijeloj priči kada su registrirali ime domene kako bi pratili širenje virusa te su tako privremeno zadržali njegov daljnji razvoj.
Stručnjak iz kompanije je izjavio za BBC kako je najvažnije da ljudi sada odmah reagiraju i da ažuriraju svoje sisteme što prije, prenosi Zimo.
„Zaustavili smo ovaj napad, ali dolazi novi, a taj sigurno nećemo moći opet ovako zaustaviti.“
„Postoji mnogo novca u ovome. Ne postoji razlog zašto bi se zaustavili. Njima je nikakav problem malo promijeniti kod i nastaviti sve isponova.“
„Znači da postoji velika šansa da će krenuti opet... možda ne ovaj vikend, ali mogli bi početi već u ponedjeljak ujutro.“

Globalni kibernetički napad u petak pogodio je više od 200.000 žrtava u najmanje 150 zemalja, rekao je u nedjelju direktor Europola, dodajući kako bi brojka mogla biti i veća kada se ljudi u ponedjeljak vrate na posao.
Rob Wainwright rekao je za ITV da je taj napad specifičan po tome što je ucjenjivački softver (ransomware) korišten u kombinaciji s takozvanim funkcijom crva tako da se zaraza širila automatski.

"Globalni dosezi su nezapamćeni. Posljednji podaci govore o preko 200.000 žrtava u najmanje 150 zemalja, a među tim žrtvama mnoge će biti poduzeća, uključujući velike korporacije", rekao je.
"U ovom trenutku suočeni smo s eskalirajućom prijetnjom. Brojke rastu, bojim se da će nastaviti rasti kada se ljudi u ponedjeljak ujutro vrate na posao i upale računala", dodao je.
Stiže novi napad
MalwareTech kompanija postala je „slučajni heroj“ u cijeloj priči kada su registrirali ime domene kako bi pratili širenje virusa te su tako privremeno zadržali njegov daljnji razvoj.
Stručnjak iz kompanije je izjavio za BBC kako je najvažnije da ljudi sada odmah reagiraju i da ažuriraju svoje sisteme što prije, prenosi Zimo.
„Zaustavili smo ovaj napad, ali dolazi novi, a taj sigurno nećemo moći opet ovako zaustaviti.“
„Postoji mnogo novca u ovome. Ne postoji razlog zašto bi se zaustavili. Njima je nikakav problem malo promijeniti kod i nastaviti sve isponova.“
„Znači da postoji velika šansa da će krenuti opet... možda ne ovaj vikend, ali mogli bi početi već u ponedjeljak ujutro.“
