Danas se obilježava godišnjica strašnog pokolja u Borovom Selu, gdje je prije 29 godina ubijeno 12 hrvatskih policajaca. Ovogodišnje odavanje počasti je zbog situacije s koronavirusom, a u skladu s epidemiološkim mjerama ograničavanja okupljanja, proteklo bez uobičajene komemorativne svečanosti. Izastanstva su dolazila u razmaku od pola sata.

Ni ovaj događaj nije protekao bez ustaških obilježja na majicama, odorama i svijećama koje su neki od okupljenih nosili.

Neki su posjetioci odjenuli majice s HOS-ovim grbom na kojim piše pozdrav „Za dom spremni“.

U Borovu je 2. svibnja 1991. iz zasjede ubijeno dvanaest hrvatskih redarstvenika nakon što su došli izbaviti dvojicu kolega koje su tijekom ophodnje u noći s 1. na 2. svibnja zarobili pripadnici srpskih paravojnih postrojbi.

Ubijeni su policajci Stjepan Bošnjak (1955.), Antun Grbavac (1961.), Josip Culej (1966.), Mladen Šarić (1965.), Zdenko Perica (1965.), Zoran Grašić (1969.), Ivica Vučić (1961.), Luka Crnković (1970.), Marinko Petrušić (1966.), Janko Čović (1965.), Željko Hrala (1968.) i Mladen Čatić (1971.). U napadu su i ranjena 23 policajca.

Svijeće i ruže kraj spomen obilježja ostavljali su obitelji ubijenih redarstvenika, izaslanik Predsjednika države, njegov savjetnik za veterane Domovinskog rata Marijan Mareković, izaslanik predsjednika Sabora, zastupnik Dražen Milinković, a u ime Vlade došao je potpredsjednik i ministar unutarnjih poslova Davor Božinović.

"U specifičnim okolnostima došli smo izraziti poštovanje dvanaestorici poginulih hrvatskih redarstvenika u Borovu Selu. To je jedan od najvećih zločina u Domovinskom ratu i nije slučajno da su prve žrtve u Domovinskom ratu bili pripadnici policije - izjavio je ministar Božinović dodajući kako je Domovinski rat specifičan i po tome što je prvi organizirani otpor agresoru pružila policija iz koje je kasnije nastala pobjednička Hrvatska vojska.

Vijenac je položilo i izaslanstvo SDP-a predvođeno predsjednikom Davorom Bernardićem.

Danas se obilježava godišnjica strašnog pokolja u Borovom Selu, gdje je prije 29 godina ubijeno 12 hrvatskih policajaca. Ovogodišnje odavanje počasti je zbog situacije s koronavirusom, a u skladu s epidemiološkim mjerama ograničavanja okupljanja, proteklo bez uobičajene komemorativne svečanosti. Izastanstva su dolazila u razmaku od pola sata.

Ni ovaj događaj nije protekao bez ustaških obilježja na majicama, odorama i svijećama koje su neki od okupljenih nosili.

Neki su posjetioci odjenuli majice s HOS-ovim grbom na kojim piše pozdrav „Za dom spremni“.

U Borovu je 2. svibnja 1991. iz zasjede ubijeno dvanaest hrvatskih redarstvenika nakon što su došli izbaviti dvojicu kolega koje su tijekom ophodnje u noći s 1. na 2. svibnja zarobili pripadnici srpskih paravojnih postrojbi.

Ubijeni su policajci Stjepan Bošnjak (1955.), Antun Grbavac (1961.), Josip Culej (1966.), Mladen Šarić (1965.), Zdenko Perica (1965.), Zoran Grašić (1969.), Ivica Vučić (1961.), Luka Crnković (1970.), Marinko Petrušić (1966.), Janko Čović (1965.), Željko Hrala (1968.) i Mladen Čatić (1971.). U napadu su i ranjena 23 policajca.

Svijeće i ruže kraj spomen obilježja ostavljali su obitelji ubijenih redarstvenika, izaslanik Predsjednika države, njegov savjetnik za veterane Domovinskog rata Marijan Mareković, izaslanik predsjednika Sabora, zastupnik Dražen Milinković, a u ime Vlade došao je potpredsjednik i ministar unutarnjih poslova Davor Božinović.

"U specifičnim okolnostima došli smo izraziti poštovanje dvanaestorici poginulih hrvatskih redarstvenika u Borovu Selu. To je jedan od najvećih zločina u Domovinskom ratu i nije slučajno da su prve žrtve u Domovinskom ratu bili pripadnici policije - izjavio je ministar Božinović dodajući kako je Domovinski rat specifičan i po tome što je prvi organizirani otpor agresoru pružila policija iz koje je kasnije nastala pobjednička Hrvatska vojska.

Vijenac je položilo i izaslanstvo SDP-a predvođeno predsjednikom Davorom Bernardićem.

Ni obilježavanje masakra u Borovom Selu nije prošlo bez zabranjenog simbola: epidemioloških mjera svi su se držali, no neki su ponijeli i HOS-ov grb

Danas se obilježava godišnjica strašnog pokolja u Borovom Selu, gdje je prije 29 godina ubijeno 12 hrvatskih policajaca. Ovogodišnje odavanje počasti je zbog situacije s koronavirusom, a u skladu s epidemiološkim mjerama ograničavanja okupljanja, proteklo bez uobičajene komemorativne svečanosti. Izastanstva su dolazila u razmaku od pola sata.

Ni ovaj događaj nije protekao bez ustaških obilježja na majicama, odorama i svijećama koje su neki od okupljenih nosili.

Neki su posjetioci odjenuli majice s HOS-ovim grbom na kojim piše pozdrav „Za dom spremni“.

U Borovu je 2. svibnja 1991. iz zasjede ubijeno dvanaest hrvatskih redarstvenika nakon što su došli izbaviti dvojicu kolega koje su tijekom ophodnje u noći s 1. na 2. svibnja zarobili pripadnici srpskih paravojnih postrojbi.

Ubijeni su policajci Stjepan Bošnjak (1955.), Antun Grbavac (1961.), Josip Culej (1966.), Mladen Šarić (1965.), Zdenko Perica (1965.), Zoran Grašić (1969.), Ivica Vučić (1961.), Luka Crnković (1970.), Marinko Petrušić (1966.), Janko Čović (1965.), Željko Hrala (1968.) i Mladen Čatić (1971.). U napadu su i ranjena 23 policajca.

Svijeće i ruže kraj spomen obilježja ostavljali su obitelji ubijenih redarstvenika, izaslanik Predsjednika države, njegov savjetnik za veterane Domovinskog rata Marijan Mareković, izaslanik predsjednika Sabora, zastupnik Dražen Milinković, a u ime Vlade došao je potpredsjednik i ministar unutarnjih poslova Davor Božinović.

"U specifičnim okolnostima došli smo izraziti poštovanje dvanaestorici poginulih hrvatskih redarstvenika u Borovu Selu. To je jedan od najvećih zločina u Domovinskom ratu i nije slučajno da su prve žrtve u Domovinskom ratu bili pripadnici policije - izjavio je ministar Božinović dodajući kako je Domovinski rat specifičan i po tome što je prvi organizirani otpor agresoru pružila policija iz koje je kasnije nastala pobjednička Hrvatska vojska.

Vijenac je položilo i izaslanstvo SDP-a predvođeno predsjednikom Davorom Bernardićem.
