Desetak minuta kasnije Jutarnjem je eksluzivno rekao da podnosi neopozivu ostavku.

- Poznato je kako sustav zapovijedanja funkcionira. Zahtjev za angažman Hrvatske vojske daje glavni vatrogasni zapovjednik, a ja ni do ovog trenutka nisam dobio nikakav službeni zahtjev. U ovom trenutku na terenu je 200 vojnika i još 500 u pripravnosti, a naši vojnici već su 'izginuli' u gašenju - kazao je Krstičević.

- Nudim mandat na raspolaganje ili me premijer Andrej Plenković i predsjednica Kolinda Grabar Kitarović mogu odmah smijeniti ukoliko se pokaže da vojne snage nisu na vrijeme i kvalitetno reagirale na požar - rekao je ministar obrane Damir Krstičević Jutarnjem povodom kritika predsjednice iz Salzburga da je vojska trebala ranije stići na opožareni teren.

Desetak minuta kasnije Jutarnjem je eksluzivno rekao da podnosi neopozivu ostavku.

- Poznato je kako sustav zapovijedanja funkcionira. Zahtjev za angažman Hrvatske vojske daje glavni vatrogasni zapovjednik, a ja ni do ovog trenutka nisam dobio nikakav službeni zahtjev. U ovom trenutku na terenu je 200 vojnika i još 500 u pripravnosti, a naši vojnici već su 'izginuli' u gašenju - kazao je Krstičević.
