Da je hrvatski jezik je težak znaju svi strani govornici kad se upuste u njegovo učenje, ali često zadaje brige i nama samima. Posebno tomu pridonosi jezični purizam koji je zavladao od 90-ih, pa jao si ga vama ako kažete 'da li je' umjesto 'je li'. Problem je i što u nekim narječjima postoje riječi koje nisu dio hrvatskog standarda, ali jesu srpskog npr. patike kako tenisice nazivamo u Dalmaciji.

Sada se pokrenula još jedna takva rasprava vezana za područje pogođeno potresom tj. Banovinu ili Baniju. Online stručnjaci i internetski jezikoslovci počeli su zadnjih dana jedni druge uvjeravati da je Banija srpski izraz i da se pravilno kaže Banovina. Dozlogrdile su te svađice na društvenim mrežama i našem najpoznatijem lovcu iz kviza Potjera, Krešimiru Sučeviću-Međeralu koji ima doktorat iz lingvistike pa je odlučio napisati status. Koliko je trenutno aktualna ova tema potvrđuje i odaziv od 394 komentara i 107 dijeljenja njegovoga statusa.

- Rasprava 'ne može biti Banija, to je srpski' dobar je primjer koliko nas je teror stava 'postoji samo jedan ispravan način na koji se nešto može reći' doveo do paranoje. Naziv Banovina u javnom se diskursu počeo forsirati tamo negdje 1992. Štoviše, poznati spot Gordana Lederera iz jeseni 1991. zove se 'Banijska ratna praskozorja', započeo je svoje objašnjenje.

- Jezično gledano, nazivi područja pod čijom upravom tvore se u hrvatskom jeziku nastavcima -ovina/-evina (kraljevina, carevina, kneževina), -ija (županija, grofovija, biskupija, monarhija) i -stvo (vojvodstvo, kraljevstvo, carstvo). Štoviše, upravo nam primjeri dubleta kraljevstvo - kraljevina i carstvo - carevina ukazuju na to da su moguća oba naziva unutar istoga jezika. Postoje sitne značenjske razlike (kraljevina je isključivo politički pojam, dok kraljevstvo može biti i u prenesenom značenju; no već kod carstva to nije slučaj, carevina je arhaizam, a carstvo se koristi i u političkom i u prenesenom značenju). Shodno tome, banovina je područje pod upravom bana, dok je banija arhaizam za banov posjed i danas isključivo za geografsku regiju. Slična stvar postoji i s područjem pod vlašću vojvode, što je vojvodstvo, dok je druga tvorba, Vojvodina, danas samo oznaka geografsko-političke cjeline, nastavio je Krešo.

- Potonje nam dokazuje još jedan apsurd - Vojvodina se tvori upravo onim nastavkom koji je u slučaju Banovine označen kao hrvatski. Da stvar bude bolja, u srpskom jeziku se područje pod vlašću bana također zove banovina, što nam dokazuje naziv administrativnih jedinica Kraljevine (sic!) Jugoslavije. Dakle, nemojmo se brukati glupim zaključcima i nepoznavanje vlastitog jezika pretvarati u pametovanje drugima, koji ga možda također ne poznaju toliko dobro, ali barem još nisu opterećeni paranojom 'krivogovora', zaključio je.

A što se tiče prijedloga koji dolazi ispred riječi Banovina, kroatisti kažu da je 'u' definitivno točno s obzirom na to da se tako kaže za sve teritorijalne jedinice, pa tako i za ovu.

Da je hrvatski jezik je težak znaju svi strani govornici kad se upuste u njegovo učenje, ali često zadaje brige i nama samima. Posebno tomu pridonosi jezični purizam koji je zavladao od 90-ih, pa jao si ga vama ako kažete 'da li je' umjesto 'je li'. Problem je i što u nekim narječjima postoje riječi koje nisu dio hrvatskog standarda, ali jesu srpskog npr. patike kako tenisice nazivamo u Dalmaciji.

Sada se pokrenula još jedna takva rasprava vezana za područje pogođeno potresom tj. Banovinu ili Baniju. Online stručnjaci i internetski jezikoslovci počeli su zadnjih dana jedni druge uvjeravati da je Banija srpski izraz i da se pravilno kaže Banovina. Dozlogrdile su te svađice na društvenim mrežama i našem najpoznatijem lovcu iz kviza Potjera, Krešimiru Sučeviću-Međeralu koji ima doktorat iz lingvistike pa je odlučio napisati status. Koliko je trenutno aktualna ova tema potvrđuje i odaziv od 394 komentara i 107 dijeljenja njegovoga statusa.

- Rasprava 'ne može biti Banija, to je srpski' dobar je primjer koliko nas je teror stava 'postoji samo jedan ispravan način na koji se nešto može reći' doveo do paranoje. Naziv Banovina u javnom se diskursu počeo forsirati tamo negdje 1992. Štoviše, poznati spot Gordana Lederera iz jeseni 1991. zove se 'Banijska ratna praskozorja', započeo je svoje objašnjenje.

- Jezično gledano, nazivi područja pod čijom upravom tvore se u hrvatskom jeziku nastavcima -ovina/-evina (kraljevina, carevina, kneževina), -ija (županija, grofovija, biskupija, monarhija) i -stvo (vojvodstvo, kraljevstvo, carstvo). Štoviše, upravo nam primjeri dubleta kraljevstvo - kraljevina i carstvo - carevina ukazuju na to da su moguća oba naziva unutar istoga jezika. Postoje sitne značenjske razlike (kraljevina je isključivo politički pojam, dok kraljevstvo može biti i u prenesenom značenju; no već kod carstva to nije slučaj, carevina je arhaizam, a carstvo se koristi i u političkom i u prenesenom značenju). Shodno tome, banovina je područje pod upravom bana, dok je banija arhaizam za banov posjed i danas isključivo za geografsku regiju. Slična stvar postoji i s područjem pod vlašću vojvode, što je vojvodstvo, dok je druga tvorba, Vojvodina, danas samo oznaka geografsko-političke cjeline, nastavio je Krešo.

- Potonje nam dokazuje još jedan apsurd - Vojvodina se tvori upravo onim nastavkom koji je u slučaju Banovine označen kao hrvatski. Da stvar bude bolja, u srpskom jeziku se područje pod vlašću bana također zove banovina, što nam dokazuje naziv administrativnih jedinica Kraljevine (sic!) Jugoslavije. Dakle, nemojmo se brukati glupim zaključcima i nepoznavanje vlastitog jezika pretvarati u pametovanje drugima, koji ga možda također ne poznaju toliko dobro, ali barem još nisu opterećeni paranojom 'krivogovora', zaključio je.

A što se tiče prijedloga koji dolazi ispred riječi Banovina, kroatisti kažu da je 'u' definitivno točno s obzirom na to da se tako kaže za sve teritorijalne jedinice, pa tako i za ovu.

Da je hrvatski jezik je težak znaju svi strani govornici kad se upuste u njegovo učenje, ali često zadaje brige i nama samima. Posebno tomu pridonosi jezični purizam koji je zavladao od 90-ih, pa jao si ga vama ako kažete 'da li je' umjesto 'je li'. Problem je i što u nekim narječjima postoje riječi koje nisu dio hrvatskog standarda, ali jesu srpskog npr. patike kako tenisice nazivamo u Dalmaciji.

Sada se pokrenula još jedna takva rasprava vezana za područje pogođeno potresom tj. Banovinu ili Baniju. Online stručnjaci i internetski jezikoslovci počeli su zadnjih dana jedni druge uvjeravati da je Banija srpski izraz i da se pravilno kaže Banovina. Dozlogrdile su te svađice na društvenim mrežama i našem najpoznatijem lovcu iz kviza Potjera, Krešimiru Sučeviću-Međeralu koji ima doktorat iz lingvistike pa je odlučio napisati status. Koliko je trenutno aktualna ova tema potvrđuje i odaziv od 394 komentara i 107 dijeljenja njegovoga statusa.

- Rasprava 'ne može biti Banija, to je srpski' dobar je primjer koliko nas je teror stava 'postoji samo jedan ispravan način na koji se nešto može reći' doveo do paranoje. Naziv Banovina u javnom se diskursu počeo forsirati tamo negdje 1992. Štoviše, poznati spot Gordana Lederera iz jeseni 1991. zove se 'Banijska ratna praskozorja', započeo je svoje objašnjenje.

- Jezično gledano, nazivi područja pod čijom upravom tvore se u hrvatskom jeziku nastavcima -ovina/-evina (kraljevina, carevina, kneževina), -ija (županija, grofovija, biskupija, monarhija) i -stvo (vojvodstvo, kraljevstvo, carstvo). Štoviše, upravo nam primjeri dubleta kraljevstvo - kraljevina i carstvo - carevina ukazuju na to da su moguća oba naziva unutar istoga jezika. Postoje sitne značenjske razlike (kraljevina je isključivo politički pojam, dok kraljevstvo može biti i u prenesenom značenju; no već kod carstva to nije slučaj, carevina je arhaizam, a carstvo se koristi i u političkom i u prenesenom značenju). Shodno tome, banovina je područje pod upravom bana, dok je banija arhaizam za banov posjed i danas isključivo za geografsku regiju. Slična stvar postoji i s područjem pod vlašću vojvode, što je vojvodstvo, dok je druga tvorba, Vojvodina, danas samo oznaka geografsko-političke cjeline, nastavio je Krešo.
