Hrvatski znanstvenik s kanadskom adresom, Igor Štagljar, sudjelovao je na izradi novog testa na antitijela, a znanstveni rad o tome objavljen je danas u časopisu Nature, o čemu piše Dnevnik.hr.

Rad pod nazivom "A homogeneous split-liciferase assay for rapid and sensitive detection of anti-SARS CoV-2 antibodies" fokusirao se upravo na razvijanje novog serološkog testa koji je jeftiniji, brži i lakši za provođenje od postojeći testova za koronavirus.

Ovo je jedan od najboljih projekata na kojima smo radili jer je uključivao kompleksnu suradnju sa biokemičarima, kliničkim liječnicima, epidemiolozima, virolozima, imunolozima i svjetskim zdravstvenim stručnjacima u Kanadi i SAD-u, napisao je Facebooku Štagljar.

Istaknuo je kako je u samo sedam mjeseci razvijen serološki test za COVID-19 nazvan SAtiN (Serological Assay based on split Tripart Nanoluciferase) koji točno mjeri koncentraciju antitijela za SARS-CoV-2 u krvotoku i to za manje od jednog sata.

Zašto je novi serološki SATiN test važan za istraživanje COVID-19? Prvo, SATiN test je jeftin i stoji oko dva dolara, što je desetina troška standardnog ELISA testa. Uz to, naš SATiN test je učinkovit, ako ne i bolji, od bilo kojeg drugog trenutno dostupnog serološkog testa, jer detektira niske razine IgG antitijela, pojasnio je Štagljar.

Dodao je kako je izuzetno ponosan na svoje suradnike jer će ovaj test biti od "presudne važnosti u sljedećoj fazi pandemije u kojoj se trenutno nalazimo, jer će vlade brojnih zemalja diljem svijeta započeti sa masovnim cijepljenjem nedavno odobrenih cjepiva protiv COVID-a".

Hrvatski znanstvenik s kanadskom adresom, Igor Štagljar, sudjelovao je na izradi novog testa na antitijela, a znanstveni rad o tome objavljen je danas u časopisu Nature, o čemu piše Dnevnik.hr.

Rad pod nazivom "A homogeneous split-liciferase assay for rapid and sensitive detection of anti-SARS CoV-2 antibodies" fokusirao se upravo na razvijanje novog serološkog testa koji je jeftiniji, brži i lakši za provođenje od postojeći testova za koronavirus.

Ovo je jedan od najboljih projekata na kojima smo radili jer je uključivao kompleksnu suradnju sa biokemičarima, kliničkim liječnicima, epidemiolozima, virolozima, imunolozima i svjetskim zdravstvenim stručnjacima u Kanadi i SAD-u, napisao je Facebooku Štagljar.

Istaknuo je kako je u samo sedam mjeseci razvijen serološki test za COVID-19 nazvan SAtiN (Serological Assay based on split Tripart Nanoluciferase) koji točno mjeri koncentraciju antitijela za SARS-CoV-2 u krvotoku i to za manje od jednog sata.

Zašto je novi serološki SATiN test važan za istraživanje COVID-19? Prvo, SATiN test je jeftin i stoji oko dva dolara, što je desetina troška standardnog ELISA testa. Uz to, naš SATiN test je učinkovit, ako ne i bolji, od bilo kojeg drugog trenutno dostupnog serološkog testa, jer detektira niske razine IgG antitijela, pojasnio je Štagljar.

Dodao je kako je izuzetno ponosan na svoje suradnike jer će ovaj test biti od "presudne važnosti u sljedećoj fazi pandemije u kojoj se trenutno nalazimo, jer će vlade brojnih zemalja diljem svijeta započeti sa masovnim cijepljenjem nedavno odobrenih cjepiva protiv COVID-a".

Hrvatski znanstvenik sudjelovao u razvoju novog testa na koronavirus: ‘Naš test je brži, precizniji i jeftiniji, ovo je prekretnica‘

Hrvatski znanstvenik s kanadskom adresom, Igor Štagljar, sudjelovao je na izradi novog testa na antitijela, a znanstveni rad o tome objavljen je danas u časopisu Nature, o čemu piše Dnevnik.hr.

Rad pod nazivom "A homogeneous split-liciferase assay for rapid and sensitive detection of anti-SARS CoV-2 antibodies" fokusirao se upravo na razvijanje novog serološkog testa koji je jeftiniji, brži i lakši za provođenje od postojeći testova za koronavirus.

Ovo je jedan od najboljih projekata na kojima smo radili jer je uključivao kompleksnu suradnju sa biokemičarima, kliničkim liječnicima, epidemiolozima, virolozima, imunolozima i svjetskim zdravstvenim stručnjacima u Kanadi i SAD-u, napisao je Facebooku Štagljar.

Istaknuo je kako je u samo sedam mjeseci razvijen serološki test za COVID-19 nazvan SAtiN (Serological Assay based on split Tripart Nanoluciferase) koji točno mjeri koncentraciju antitijela za SARS-CoV-2 u krvotoku i to za manje od jednog sata.

Zašto je novi serološki SATiN test važan za istraživanje COVID-19? Prvo, SATiN test je jeftin i stoji oko dva dolara, što je desetina troška standardnog ELISA testa. Uz to, naš SATiN test je učinkovit, ako ne i bolji, od bilo kojeg drugog trenutno dostupnog serološkog testa, jer detektira niske razine IgG antitijela, pojasnio je Štagljar.

Dodao je kako je izuzetno ponosan na svoje suradnike jer će ovaj test biti od "presudne važnosti u sljedećoj fazi pandemije u kojoj se trenutno nalazimo, jer će vlade brojnih zemalja diljem svijeta započeti sa masovnim cijepljenjem nedavno odobrenih cjepiva protiv COVID-a".

O tome kako test točno funkcionira, što ga čini tako posebnim te kako je tekao njegov razvoj, Igor Štagljar govorit će ekskluzivno večeras u Dnevniku Nove TV.
