Život na zadarskom Poluotoku, problemi stanovništva koje na Poluotoku stanuje i sve učestaliji nasrtaji na javne gradske površine, izazvali su reakciju zadarskog gradonačelnika Branka Dukića koji je na tu temu progovorio i na svom javnom kolegiju.
- Mnogi raspravljaju o životu na Poluotoku. Razgovaralo o tome i mi u gradskoj upravi, prošetali smo gradom i vidjeli gdje su problemi koje ćemo rješavati u suradnji s obrtnicima, poduzetnicima i svima zainteresiranima. Moramo pronaći balans između turizma i kapitala, s jedne, te interesa stanovnika, s druge strane. Javnost ponekad nije svjesna da su naše nadležnosti uske, primjerice kod inspekcijskih ili imovinskopravnih odnosa su nam ingerencije jako male, rekao je Dukić.
Najavljujući da je u pripremi materijal za sjednicu Gradskog vijeća usmjeren prema „optimizaciji korištenja javnih površina”, Dukić je poslao i upozorenje:
- Polako se približavamo rubu održivosti javnih prostora namijenjenih uslužnoj djelatnosti. Reklame, štandovi i štekati se postavljaju mimo ugovora. Moramo bolje štiti javni prostor, rekao je gradonačelnik Dukić.
O komercijalizaciji javnih površina na Poluotoku i njenim posljedicama, govorio je i pročelnik za gradsku imovinu Tomislav Korona koji je najavio formiranje posebne radne skupine sastavljene od službenika više upravnih odjela i zadarskih konzervatora. Ta bi radna skupina trebala multidisciplinarno gledati na korištenje javnih površina, rekao je Korona najavljujući izradu aplikacije s digitalnom mapom svih javnih površina u zakupu, ali bi tu mapu trebalo uskladiti s već postojećim Registrom gradskih nekretnina.
- Javne površine su određene, a povremeno izlaženje izvan okvira i gabarita u popodnevnim satima je posao komunalnih redara, rekao je Korona.
- Komunalni redari su nadzornici nad provođenjem odluka Gradskog vijeća, pa i one o zakupu javnih površina. Jamčimo provođenje reda: od ove sezone, umjesto do 22 sata, komunalni redari će obilaziti sporne lokacije do 24 sata, odgovorio je komunalni pročelnik Robertino Dujela dodajući da Upravni odjel neće zapošljavati dodatne komunalne redare nego će dodatni posao obaviti postojeći broj zaposlenika.
Što se obrtnika s Poluotoka tiče, gradska je vlast odlučila „zimski popust” od 10 posto na plaćanje najamnine preko tri zimska mjeseca produžiti i na travanj s popustom od 15 posto.

Život na zadarskom Poluotoku, problemi stanovništva koje na Poluotoku stanuje i sve učestaliji nasrtaji na javne gradske površine, izazvali su reakciju zadarskog gradonačelnika Branka Dukića koji je na tu temu progovorio i na svom javnom kolegiju.
- Mnogi raspravljaju o životu na Poluotoku. Razgovaralo o tome i mi u gradskoj upravi, prošetali smo gradom i vidjeli gdje su problemi koje ćemo rješavati u suradnji s obrtnicima, poduzetnicima i svima zainteresiranima. Moramo pronaći balans između turizma i kapitala, s jedne, te interesa stanovnika, s druge strane. Javnost ponekad nije svjesna da su naše nadležnosti uske, primjerice kod inspekcijskih ili imovinskopravnih odnosa su nam ingerencije jako male, rekao je Dukić.
Najavljujući da je u pripremi materijal za sjednicu Gradskog vijeća usmjeren prema „optimizaciji korištenja javnih površina”, Dukić je poslao i upozorenje:
- Polako se približavamo rubu održivosti javnih prostora namijenjenih uslužnoj djelatnosti. Reklame, štandovi i štekati se postavljaju mimo ugovora. Moramo bolje štiti javni prostor, rekao je gradonačelnik Dukić.
O komercijalizaciji javnih površina na Poluotoku i njenim posljedicama, govorio je i pročelnik za gradsku imovinu Tomislav Korona koji je najavio formiranje posebne radne skupine sastavljene od službenika više upravnih odjela i zadarskih konzervatora. Ta bi radna skupina trebala multidisciplinarno gledati na korištenje javnih površina, rekao je Korona najavljujući izradu aplikacije s digitalnom mapom svih javnih površina u zakupu, ali bi tu mapu trebalo uskladiti s već postojećim Registrom gradskih nekretnina.
- Javne površine su određene, a povremeno izlaženje izvan okvira i gabarita u popodnevnim satima je posao komunalnih redara, rekao je Korona.
- Komunalni redari su nadzornici nad provođenjem odluka Gradskog vijeća, pa i one o zakupu javnih površina. Jamčimo provođenje reda: od ove sezone, umjesto do 22 sata, komunalni redari će obilaziti sporne lokacije do 24 sata, odgovorio je komunalni pročelnik Robertino Dujela dodajući da Upravni odjel neće zapošljavati dodatne komunalne redare nego će dodatni posao obaviti postojeći broj zaposlenika.
Što se obrtnika s Poluotoka tiče, gradska je vlast odlučila „zimski popust” od 10 posto na plaćanje najamnine preko tri zimska mjeseca produžiti i na travanj s popustom od 15 posto.
