Njemački vladajući demokršćani 16. siječnja održat će stranačku konvenciju te će izabrati novog čelnika CDU-a, koji bi u jesen mogao zamijeniti Angelu Merkel na dužnosti kancelara. Kao najjači kandidati spominju se bogati pravnik snažne konzervativne orijentacije, Friedrich Merz, te umjereniji Armin Laschet, premijer najveće savezne pokrajine Sjeverne Rajne-Vestfalije i Norbert Roettegen, vodeći stručnjak za vanjsku politiku u Bundestagu.

Čelnica Kršćansko-demokratske unije Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, koja je u prosincu 2018. preuzela vodstvo CDU-a, već u veljači je objavila kako odustaje od te dužnosti. Zbog pandemije su otpala dva ranija termina za izbor novoga stranačkog čelnika, mogućeg nasljednika Merkel koja kancelarske poslove obavlja već 16. godinu.

Iako bi vođa CDU-a mogao biti favorit za kancelara na sljedećim izborima, s tim se treba složiti bavarska konzervativna Kršćansko socijalna unija (CSU), no mogla bi kao kandidata istaknuti i svog lidera Markusa Soedera.

Ustrajna 'mutti'

Ako je suditi po listama popularnosti, veći broj Nijemaca bi, čini se, volio da kormilo zemlje i dalje drži Merkel koja je odustala od kandidature nakon isteka mandata u jesen 2021. godine. Neki kažu kako su Nijemci navikli na njenu ustrajnost, golemi radni angažman, disciplinu i "znanstveni pristup“ politici, pa smatraju da se u očekivanju ekonomske krize malo tko može nositi s problemima kao iskusna "mutti“. Drugi pak pozdravljaju odlazak kancelarke iz politike zbog "tvrdoglave dobrodošlice izbjeglicama" koja je svojedobno rezultirala rekordnom podrškom krajnje desnom AfD-u.

Ipak, kada Merkel ode s dužnosti ostavit će za sobom stranku koja je kao politička snaga bez konkurencije u Njemačkoj i trenutačno vodi u anketama oko 15 posto, navodi Guardian. Pristaše "najmoćnije žene svijeta“ utvrde kako će se odlazak kancelarke iz politike osjetiti u zemlji, ali i svijetu.

Prema procjeni političkog analitičara Davora Gjenera, najbolja strana njemačke kancelarke je ono što nosi iz razdoblja kada se nije bavila politikom.

- Merkel je znanstvenica. Ona je jako pragmatična, promišljena i efikasna. Oslanja se na znanje. S druge strane, ona je osoba koja je CDU pomaknula ulijevo. Njena ideja je bila da stvori stranku koja će biti sposobna za političku suradnju sa Zelenima. To, vjerojatno, isto proizlazi iz njezina obrazovanja iz područja prirodoslovnih znanosti te uvjerenja da održivi razvoj sve više postaje faktorom koji će dominantno utjecati na javne politike. Zbog toga je svoju stranku morala učiniti puno otvorenijom prema inicijativama iz sfere civilnog društva jer Zeleni, osim ekologije, izrazito snažno zagovaraju vrijednosti otvorenog društva i tu dolazi njen najveći problem. Tom jako velikom promjenom političke strategije stranke Merkel je otišla suviše daleko za jedan dio stranačkih glasača pa i članova CDU-a - mišljenja je Gjenero.

'Gaf' s izbjeglicama

- Ona, dakle, bitno snažnije zagovara vrijednosti otvorenog društva nego neki dominantni članovi njene stranke i njeni birači. Na taj način je otvoren prostor desnom bloku iz AfD-a kao vrlo ozbiljan izazov, ali je kancelarka to uspjela riješiti vrlo efikasnom vladavinom. Njezina administracija pokazala se kao izrazito efikasna u prevladavanju kriza prije svega vezanih za COVID, ali i ekonomiju. Veći problem je njena politika prema izbjeglicama. Prema mišljenju većeg dijela Europe, kancelarka se otvorila u prevelikoj mjeri prema prihvatu izbjeglica s Bliskog istoka te je pri tom riskirala i zajedničku europsku politiku i svoju poziciju, ali je, s druge strane, tom politikom ostvarila relativno povoljnu ekonomsku učinkovitost za njemačko gospodarstvo - ukazao je analitičar.

Od sugovornika doznajemo kako će kancelarka jako puno nedostajati u Njemačkoj.

- Za Nijemce je ona majčinski lik koji u pravom trenutku zna biti vrlo empatičan, ljudski i to joj daje prednost pred rivalima. Uz sve to, kancelarka je jako pragmatična i efikasna. Kada je u pitanju efikasnost teško će je netko samo tako nadmašiti. Ona bi obnovila euroatlantske odnose s novim predsjednikom SAD-a Bidenom, koji joj je sličan po mnogo čemu. Njen doprinos jako puno značio i za Europsku uniju. Tu će predsjednica Europske komisije Ursula von der Leyen igrati određenu pozitivnu ulogu, ali nedostajat će snažno njemačko vodstvo, pogotovo u uvjetima kad francuski predsjednik Emmanuel Macron nije lider tih kapaciteta kao Merkel. U takvim uvjetima Europi će nedostajati liderstvo njemačke kancelarke - naglasio je Gjenero.

Njemački vladajući demokršćani 16. siječnja održat će stranačku konvenciju te će izabrati novog čelnika CDU-a, koji bi u jesen mogao zamijeniti Angelu Merkel na dužnosti kancelara. Kao najjači kandidati spominju se bogati pravnik snažne konzervativne orijentacije, Friedrich Merz, te umjereniji Armin Laschet, premijer najveće savezne pokrajine Sjeverne Rajne-Vestfalije i Norbert Roettegen, vodeći stručnjak za vanjsku politiku u Bundestagu.

Čelnica Kršćansko-demokratske unije Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, koja je u prosincu 2018. preuzela vodstvo CDU-a, već u veljači je objavila kako odustaje od te dužnosti. Zbog pandemije su otpala dva ranija termina za izbor novoga stranačkog čelnika, mogućeg nasljednika Merkel koja kancelarske poslove obavlja već 16. godinu.

Iako bi vođa CDU-a mogao biti favorit za kancelara na sljedećim izborima, s tim se treba složiti bavarska konzervativna Kršćansko socijalna unija (CSU), no mogla bi kao kandidata istaknuti i svog lidera Markusa Soedera.

Ustrajna 'mutti'

Ako je suditi po listama popularnosti, veći broj Nijemaca bi, čini se, volio da kormilo zemlje i dalje drži Merkel koja je odustala od kandidature nakon isteka mandata u jesen 2021. godine. Neki kažu kako su Nijemci navikli na njenu ustrajnost, golemi radni angažman, disciplinu i "znanstveni pristup“ politici, pa smatraju da se u očekivanju ekonomske krize malo tko može nositi s problemima kao iskusna "mutti“. Drugi pak pozdravljaju odlazak kancelarke iz politike zbog "tvrdoglave dobrodošlice izbjeglicama" koja je svojedobno rezultirala rekordnom podrškom krajnje desnom AfD-u.

Ipak, kada Merkel ode s dužnosti ostavit će za sobom stranku koja je kao politička snaga bez konkurencije u Njemačkoj i trenutačno vodi u anketama oko 15 posto, navodi Guardian. Pristaše "najmoćnije žene svijeta“ utvrde kako će se odlazak kancelarke iz politike osjetiti u zemlji, ali i svijetu.

Prema procjeni političkog analitičara Davora Gjenera, najbolja strana njemačke kancelarke je ono što nosi iz razdoblja kada se nije bavila politikom.

- Merkel je znanstvenica. Ona je jako pragmatična, promišljena i efikasna. Oslanja se na znanje. S druge strane, ona je osoba koja je CDU pomaknula ulijevo. Njena ideja je bila da stvori stranku koja će biti sposobna za političku suradnju sa Zelenima. To, vjerojatno, isto proizlazi iz njezina obrazovanja iz područja prirodoslovnih znanosti te uvjerenja da održivi razvoj sve više postaje faktorom koji će dominantno utjecati na javne politike. Zbog toga je svoju stranku morala učiniti puno otvorenijom prema inicijativama iz sfere civilnog društva jer Zeleni, osim ekologije, izrazito snažno zagovaraju vrijednosti otvorenog društva i tu dolazi njen najveći problem. Tom jako velikom promjenom političke strategije stranke Merkel je otišla suviše daleko za jedan dio stranačkih glasača pa i članova CDU-a - mišljenja je Gjenero.

'Gaf' s izbjeglicama

- Ona, dakle, bitno snažnije zagovara vrijednosti otvorenog društva nego neki dominantni članovi njene stranke i njeni birači. Na taj način je otvoren prostor desnom bloku iz AfD-a kao vrlo ozbiljan izazov, ali je kancelarka to uspjela riješiti vrlo efikasnom vladavinom. Njezina administracija pokazala se kao izrazito efikasna u prevladavanju kriza prije svega vezanih za COVID, ali i ekonomiju. Veći problem je njena politika prema izbjeglicama. Prema mišljenju većeg dijela Europe, kancelarka se otvorila u prevelikoj mjeri prema prihvatu izbjeglica s Bliskog istoka te je pri tom riskirala i zajedničku europsku politiku i svoju poziciju, ali je, s druge strane, tom politikom ostvarila relativno povoljnu ekonomsku učinkovitost za njemačko gospodarstvo - ukazao je analitičar.

Od sugovornika doznajemo kako će kancelarka jako puno nedostajati u Njemačkoj.

- Za Nijemce je ona majčinski lik koji u pravom trenutku zna biti vrlo empatičan, ljudski i to joj daje prednost pred rivalima. Uz sve to, kancelarka je jako pragmatična i efikasna. Kada je u pitanju efikasnost teško će je netko samo tako nadmašiti. Ona bi obnovila euroatlantske odnose s novim predsjednikom SAD-a Bidenom, koji joj je sličan po mnogo čemu. Njen doprinos jako puno značio i za Europsku uniju. Tu će predsjednica Europske komisije Ursula von der Leyen igrati određenu pozitivnu ulogu, ali nedostajat će snažno njemačko vodstvo, pogotovo u uvjetima kad francuski predsjednik Emmanuel Macron nije lider tih kapaciteta kao Merkel. U takvim uvjetima Europi će nedostajati liderstvo njemačke kancelarke - naglasio je Gjenero.

Njemački vladajući demokršćani 16. siječnja održat će stranačku konvenciju te će izabrati novog čelnika CDU-a, koji bi u jesen mogao zamijeniti Angelu Merkel na dužnosti kancelara. Kao najjači kandidati spominju se bogati pravnik snažne konzervativne orijentacije, Friedrich Merz, te umjereniji Armin Laschet, premijer najveće savezne pokrajine Sjeverne Rajne-Vestfalije i Norbert Roettegen, vodeći stručnjak za vanjsku politiku u Bundestagu.

Čelnica Kršćansko-demokratske unije Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, koja je u prosincu 2018. preuzela vodstvo CDU-a, već u veljači je objavila kako odustaje od te dužnosti. Zbog pandemije su otpala dva ranija termina za izbor novoga stranačkog čelnika, mogućeg nasljednika Merkel koja kancelarske poslove obavlja već 16. godinu.
