Švicarska tvrtka fokusirana na proizvodnju i komercijalizaciju održivih tehnoloških rješenja za okoliš, Exlterra, udružila se s ukrajinskom firmom SSE Ecocentre zaduženom za radijaciju i okolišno praćenje u Černobilu te su zajedničkim snagama su uspjeli smanjiti radioaktivnost tla i zraka, prenosi Klix.

Tehnologija pod nazivom Nucleus Separation Passive System (NSPS) testirana je na području od deset tisuća kilometara između studenog 2019. i rujna 2020. godine, a na kraju toga perioda nivo kontaminacije tla radijacijom smanjen je za 37 posto, a zraka za 47 posto.

Turisti danas mogu posjetiti Černobil, ali će biti potrebno najmanje 24.000 godina da se radioaktivna kontaminacija prirodno raspadne. Međutim, nova tehnologija kompanije Exlterra mogla bi skratiti to vrijeme na samo pet godina, barem tako pokazuju podaci testiranja.

NSPS tehnologija koristi koncepte fizike čestica i nuklearne energije bez upotrebe kemikalija ili ekološki štetnih materijala kako bi se uhvatila u koštac s teškom radijacijskom kontaminacijom i ubrzala razgradnju radioaktivnih elemenata.

Tehnologija koristi čestice velike brzine poznate kao pozitroni kako bi usmjerili ovu prirodnu silu prema radioaktivnim izotopima u tlu i razbila veze koji ih drže zajedno.

Proces se odvija ispod površine tla te se radioaktivnost ne ispušta u zemlju ili zrak.

Jednom kad pozitron dođe u kontakt s radioaktivnim izotopom, on se ponovo spaja s elektronom i anihilira radioaktivnu materiju natrag u prvobitno stanje.

Metodologiju i proces mjerenja provodi SSE Ecocenter, a nivo radijacije mjeri se s distance od pet centimetara i jednog metra od tla, dok se uzorkovanje tla vrši na dubini od 100 centimetara ispod površine. Radionuklidi izmjereni u tlu su bili cezij, stroncij i americij.

Kompletni rezultati eksperimenta tek trebaju biti objavljeni, ali je projekt na dobrom putu te bi se stanje trebalo vratiti na početne ili prirodne nivoe pet godina nakon završetka instalacije, otkrio je direktor Exlterre Frank Muller.

- Ovi rezultati su izvanredni. Prvi put u 35 godina tehnologija je uspjela značajno smanjiti nivo radioaktivnosti u tlu i zraku. Ovo je prava nada za cijelo područje - rekao je generalni direktor tvrtke SSE Ecocentre Sergij Kireiev.

Muller je kazao da će 12-mjesečno smanjenje nivoa radioaktivnosti omogućiti povratak prvobitnog stanja okoliša za pet godina.

- Nastavit ćemo nuditi naše usluge kako bismo pomogli Černobilu, a želimo brzo ponuditi naše rješenje i drugim problematičnim područjima širom svijeta, uključujući nuklearnu elektranu Fukushima u Japanu. Možemo izbjeći ispuštanje radioaktivne vode u oceane i spriječiti novu ekološku katastrofu - dodao je on.

- Ono što se činilo nemogućim danas je moguće, NSPS je invoacija koja omogućava pozitronima da prirodno ubrzavaju u pasivnom sustavu kako bi uklanjali kontaminirana područja. Koristi obnovljive izvore energije prisutne u prirodi da značajno ubrza prirodni proces razlaganja zagađivača u tlu. To je ono što čini ovaj izum jedinstvenim, jer koristi prirodnu energiju za rješenje problema industrijskog zagađenja bez oslanjanja na kemijske zamjene ili manipulacije tla - objasnio je predsjednik Exlterre Andrew Niemczyk, prenosi Klix.

Osim za tretiranje radioaktivnosti, NSPS tehnologija se može koristiti i za tretiranje drugih kontaminacija tla, kao što su teški metali.

Švicarska tvrtka fokusirana na proizvodnju i komercijalizaciju održivih tehnoloških rješenja za okoliš, Exlterra, udružila se s ukrajinskom firmom SSE Ecocentre zaduženom za radijaciju i okolišno praćenje u Černobilu te su zajedničkim snagama su uspjeli smanjiti radioaktivnost tla i zraka, prenosi Klix.

Tehnologija pod nazivom Nucleus Separation Passive System (NSPS) testirana je na području od deset tisuća kilometara između studenog 2019. i rujna 2020. godine, a na kraju toga perioda nivo kontaminacije tla radijacijom smanjen je za 37 posto, a zraka za 47 posto.

Turisti danas mogu posjetiti Černobil, ali će biti potrebno najmanje 24.000 godina da se radioaktivna kontaminacija prirodno raspadne. Međutim, nova tehnologija kompanije Exlterra mogla bi skratiti to vrijeme na samo pet godina, barem tako pokazuju podaci testiranja.

NSPS tehnologija koristi koncepte fizike čestica i nuklearne energije bez upotrebe kemikalija ili ekološki štetnih materijala kako bi se uhvatila u koštac s teškom radijacijskom kontaminacijom i ubrzala razgradnju radioaktivnih elemenata.

Tehnologija koristi čestice velike brzine poznate kao pozitroni kako bi usmjerili ovu prirodnu silu prema radioaktivnim izotopima u tlu i razbila veze koji ih drže zajedno.

Proces se odvija ispod površine tla te se radioaktivnost ne ispušta u zemlju ili zrak.

Jednom kad pozitron dođe u kontakt s radioaktivnim izotopom, on se ponovo spaja s elektronom i anihilira radioaktivnu materiju natrag u prvobitno stanje.

Metodologiju i proces mjerenja provodi SSE Ecocenter, a nivo radijacije mjeri se s distance od pet centimetara i jednog metra od tla, dok se uzorkovanje tla vrši na dubini od 100 centimetara ispod površine. Radionuklidi izmjereni u tlu su bili cezij, stroncij i americij.

Kompletni rezultati eksperimenta tek trebaju biti objavljeni, ali je projekt na dobrom putu te bi se stanje trebalo vratiti na početne ili prirodne nivoe pet godina nakon završetka instalacije, otkrio je direktor Exlterre Frank Muller.

- Ovi rezultati su izvanredni. Prvi put u 35 godina tehnologija je uspjela značajno smanjiti nivo radioaktivnosti u tlu i zraku. Ovo je prava nada za cijelo područje - rekao je generalni direktor tvrtke SSE Ecocentre Sergij Kireiev.

Muller je kazao da će 12-mjesečno smanjenje nivoa radioaktivnosti omogućiti povratak prvobitnog stanja okoliša za pet godina.

- Nastavit ćemo nuditi naše usluge kako bismo pomogli Černobilu, a želimo brzo ponuditi naše rješenje i drugim problematičnim područjima širom svijeta, uključujući nuklearnu elektranu Fukushima u Japanu. Možemo izbjeći ispuštanje radioaktivne vode u oceane i spriječiti novu ekološku katastrofu - dodao je on.

- Ono što se činilo nemogućim danas je moguće, NSPS je invoacija koja omogućava pozitronima da prirodno ubrzavaju u pasivnom sustavu kako bi uklanjali kontaminirana područja. Koristi obnovljive izvore energije prisutne u prirodi da značajno ubrza prirodni proces razlaganja zagađivača u tlu. To je ono što čini ovaj izum jedinstvenim, jer koristi prirodnu energiju za rješenje problema industrijskog zagađenja bez oslanjanja na kemijske zamjene ili manipulacije tla - objasnio je predsjednik Exlterre Andrew Niemczyk, prenosi Klix.

Osim za tretiranje radioaktivnosti, NSPS tehnologija se može koristiti i za tretiranje drugih kontaminacija tla, kao što su teški metali.

Radioaktivnost zraka u Černobilu smanjena za čak 47 posto, zahvaljujući novoj tehnologiji okoliš bi se za pet godina mogao potpuno oporaviti

Švicarska tvrtka fokusirana na proizvodnju i komercijalizaciju održivih tehnoloških rješenja za okoliš, Exlterra, udružila se s ukrajinskom firmom SSE Ecocentre zaduženom za radijaciju i okolišno praćenje u Černobilu te su zajedničkim snagama su uspjeli smanjiti radioaktivnost tla i zraka, prenosi Klix.

Tehnologija pod nazivom Nucleus Separation Passive System (NSPS) testirana je na području od deset tisuća kilometara između studenog 2019. i rujna 2020. godine, a na kraju toga perioda nivo kontaminacije tla radijacijom smanjen je za 37 posto, a zraka za 47 posto.

Turisti danas mogu posjetiti Černobil, ali će biti potrebno najmanje 24.000 godina da se radioaktivna kontaminacija prirodno raspadne. Međutim, nova tehnologija kompanije Exlterra mogla bi skratiti to...
