Papa Franjo pozvao je u nedjelju pripadnike svih religija da žive u skladu i izbjegavaju ideološki fundamentalizam jer on potiče nasilje, a sebe je nazvao "skromnim nasljednikom drevnih škola mudrosti".

Papa Franjo govorio je na međureligijskom skupu u mongolskom glavnom gradu gdje je dijelio kazališnu pozornicu s još deset vjerskih vođa, no zbog sličnih su skupova papu već napadali njegovi konzervativni kritičari. 

Glavni razlog papina dolaska u Mongoliju bilo je upoznavanje s malom katoličkom zajednicom, koja broji oko 1450 vjernika,  pred kojom će u nedjelju služiti misu 

S obzirom da Mongolija graniči s Kinom, papa Franjo je iskoristio priliku ne bi li Pekingu, s kojim Vatikan nema naročito dobre odnose, poslao poruku da se ne treba bojati Katoličke crkve jer ona nema političku agendu.  

Rimokatolički poglavar pohvalio je razinu vjerske slobode u Mongoliji, koja je nekoć bila suzbijana dok se zemlja nalazila pod sovjetskom zonom utjecaja, na što mu je pozornost ukazao jedan od budističkih svećenika koji mu se obratio.

"Religije su pozvane ponuditi svijetu jedan sklad koji tehnološki napredak ne može sam dati", kazao je papa nakon što je poslušao obraćanja ostalih vjerskih vođa koji su predstavljali mongolske budiste, muslimane, evangelike, Židove, pravoslavce, mormone, hinduiste i druge.

"Braćo i sestre, danas se susrećemo kao skromni nasljednici drevnih škola mudrosti. U našem susretu jedni s drugima želimo podijeliti brojne dragocjenosti koje imamo kako bi obogatili čovječanstvo, koje je toliko često zavedeno na stranputicu i traži samo profit i materijalnu udobnost", kazao je papa Franjo.  

Papa je potom citirao Budine zapise, prema kojima se "mudar čovjek raduje davanju", dodavši da je te rečenica slična onoj Isusovoj "Blaženije je davati nego primati".

Konzervativno orijentirani katolici, kao što je biskup Athanasius Schneider na službi u Kazahstanu, zamjeraju svom poglavaru što uopće sudjeluje na ovakvim skupovima koje Schneider naziva "supermarketom religija" koji umanjuje status Katoličke crkve.

Međutim, papa Franjo ponavlja da pridaje veliku važnost "ekumenskim, međureligijskim i međukulturnim razgovorima". Za njega, dijalog "ne znači zamagliti razlike, već tražiti razumijevanje".

Osim toga, osudio je "uskogrudnost, jednostrano nametanje, fundamentalizam i ideološka ograničenja", rekavši da navedeno "uništava bratstvo, potiče napetosti i ugrožava mir".

“Nije moguće spojiti vjerska uvjerenja i nasilje, svetosti i ugnjetavanja, vjerske tradicije i sektaštvo”, kazao je papa Franjo.

Papa Franjo pozvao je u nedjelju pripadnike svih religija da žive u skladu i izbjegavaju ideološki fundamentalizam jer on potiče nasilje, a sebe je nazvao "skromnim nasljednikom drevnih škola mudrosti".

Papa Franjo govorio je na međureligijskom skupu u mongolskom glavnom gradu gdje je dijelio kazališnu pozornicu s još deset vjerskih vođa, no zbog sličnih su skupova papu već napadali njegovi konzervativni kritičari. 

Glavni razlog papina dolaska u Mongoliju bilo je upoznavanje s malom katoličkom zajednicom, koja broji oko 1450 vjernika,  pred kojom će u nedjelju služiti misu 

S obzirom da Mongolija graniči s Kinom, papa Franjo je iskoristio priliku ne bi li Pekingu, s kojim Vatikan nema naročito dobre odnose, poslao poruku da se ne treba bojati Katoličke crkve jer ona nema političku agendu.  

Rimokatolički poglavar pohvalio je razinu vjerske slobode u Mongoliji, koja je nekoć bila suzbijana dok se zemlja nalazila pod sovjetskom zonom utjecaja, na što mu je pozornost ukazao jedan od budističkih svećenika koji mu se obratio.

"Religije su pozvane ponuditi svijetu jedan sklad koji tehnološki napredak ne može sam dati", kazao je papa nakon što je poslušao obraćanja ostalih vjerskih vođa koji su predstavljali mongolske budiste, muslimane, evangelike, Židove, pravoslavce, mormone, hinduiste i druge.

"Braćo i sestre, danas se susrećemo kao skromni nasljednici drevnih škola mudrosti. U našem susretu jedni s drugima želimo podijeliti brojne dragocjenosti koje imamo kako bi obogatili čovječanstvo, koje je toliko često zavedeno na stranputicu i traži samo profit i materijalnu udobnost", kazao je papa Franjo.  

Papa je potom citirao Budine zapise, prema kojima se "mudar čovjek raduje davanju", dodavši da je te rečenica slična onoj Isusovoj "Blaženije je davati nego primati".

Konzervativno orijentirani katolici, kao što je biskup Athanasius Schneider na službi u Kazahstanu, zamjeraju svom poglavaru što uopće sudjeluje na ovakvim skupovima koje Schneider naziva "supermarketom religija" koji umanjuje status Katoličke crkve.

Međutim, papa Franjo ponavlja da pridaje veliku važnost "ekumenskim, međureligijskim i međukulturnim razgovorima". Za njega, dijalog "ne znači zamagliti razlike, već tražiti razumijevanje".

Osim toga, osudio je "uskogrudnost, jednostrano nametanje, fundamentalizam i ideološka ograničenja", rekavši da navedeno "uništava bratstvo, potiče napetosti i ugrožava mir".

“Nije moguće spojiti vjerska uvjerenja i nasilje, svetosti i ugnjetavanja, vjerske tradicije i sektaštvo”, kazao je papa Franjo.

Papa Franjo pozvao na vjerski dijalog i borbu protiv fundamentalizma

Papa Franjo pozvao je u nedjelju pripadnike svih religija da žive u skladu i izbjegavaju ideološki fundamentalizam jer on potiče nasilje, a sebe je nazvao "skromnim nasljednikom drevnih škola mudrosti".

Papa Franjo govorio je na međureligijskom skupu u mongolskom glavnom gradu gdje je dijelio kazališnu pozornicu s još deset vjerskih vođa, no zbog sličnih su skupova papu već napadali njegovi konzervativni kritičari. 

Glavni razlog papina dolaska u Mongoliju bilo je upoznavanje s malom katoličkom zajednicom, koja broji oko 1450 vjernika,  pred kojom će u nedjelju služiti misu 

S obzirom da Mongolija graniči s Kinom, papa Franjo je iskoristio priliku ne bi li Pekingu, s kojim Vatikan nema naročito dobre odnose, poslao poruku da se ne treba bojati Katoličke crkve jer ona nema političku agendu.  

Rimokatolički poglavar pohvalio je razinu vjerske slobode u Mongoliji, koja je nekoć bila suzbijana dok se zemlja nalazila pod sovjetskom zonom utjecaja, na što mu je pozornost ukazao jedan od budističkih svećenika koji mu se obratio.

"Religije su pozvane ponuditi svijetu jedan sklad koji tehnološki napredak ne može sam dati", kazao je papa nakon što je poslušao obraćanja ostalih vjerskih vođa koji su predstavljali mongolske budiste, muslimane, evangelike, Židove, pravoslavce, mormone, hinduiste i druge.

"Braćo i sestre, danas se susrećemo kao skromni nasljednici drevnih škola mudrosti. U našem susretu jedni s drugima želimo podijeliti brojne dragocjenosti koje imamo kako bi obogatili čovječanstvo, koje je toliko često zavedeno na stranputicu i traži samo profit i materijalnu udobnost", kazao je papa Franjo.  

Papa je potom citirao Budine zapise, prema kojima se "mudar čovjek raduje davanju", dodavši da je te rečenica slična onoj Isusovoj "Blaženije je davati nego primati".

Konzervativno orijentirani katolici, kao što je biskup Athanasius Schneider na službi u Kazahstanu, zamjeraju svom poglavaru što uopće sudjeluje na ovakvim skupovima koje Schneider naziva "supermarketom religija" koji umanjuje status Katoličke crkve.

Međutim, papa Franjo ponavlja da pridaje veliku važnost "ekumenskim, međureligijskim i međukulturnim razgovorima". Za njega, dijalog "ne znači zamagliti razlike, već tražiti razumijevanje".

Osim toga, osudio je "uskogrudnost, jednostrano nametanje, fundamentalizam i ideološka ograničenja", rekavši da navedeno "uništava bratstvo, potiče napetosti i ugrožava mir".

“Nije moguće spojiti vjerska uvjerenja i nasilje, svetosti i ugnjetavanja, vjerske tradicije i sektaštvo”, kazao je papa Franjo.
