Svi uglavnom govore o umrlima od Covida-19, a jako malo o onima koji su ga preživjeli: hoće li i u kolikoj mjeri imati naknadnih zdravstvenih posljedica, odnosno koliko im je zdravlje ugroženije. Zato je iznimno važna upravo objavljena opsežna medicinska studija o posljedicama koje koronavirus ostavlja na ljudsko zdravlje.

Objavio ju je ugledni British Medical Journal.

Istraživanje koje je obuhvatilo čak 50 tisuća pacijenata hospitaliziranih zbog Covida njihove je detaljne medicinske podatke nakon bolesti kompariralo s kontrolnom skupinom ljudi koji nisu imali koronu. Zaključci medicinske studije govore da je koronavirus i na preživjelima u prosjeku ostavio ozbiljne zdravstvene posljedice.

Podaci pokazuju da je u roku od 140 dana nakon bolesti, čak 30 posto covid-rekonvalescenata ponovno hospitalizirano, i to četiri puta češće od ljudi koji koronu nisu imali.

Jedan od deset rekonvalescenata je u istom razdoblju preminuo: smrt je bila čak osam puta učestalija nego u drugoj, 'nekoronskoj' skupini.

Respiratorne bolesti, dijabetes i kardiovaskularne bolesti su također bile znakovito učestalije kod rekonvalescenata od covida, a istaknuto je i kako ovi zdravstveni rizici nije ograničeni samo na stariju populaciju.

Preporuke iz studije u British Medical Journalu glase: dijagnoza, liječenje i prevencija post-covid sindroma zahtijeva integrirani pristup, a ne analizu utjecaja na pojedine organe ili bolesti, te su potrebna hitna nova istraživanja kako bi se utvrdili svi faktori rizika.

Dakle, naspram dežurnih hrvatskih i inih skeptika koji odriču covidu potencijal smrtnosti kod svakog preminulog koji je imao neku drugu bolest (komorbiditet), stoji medicinska studija iz Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva koja govori da Covid-19 ubija i mjesecima nakon što ga preboliš.

U Hrvatskoj je sve više pacijenata koji se javljaju liječnicima zbog pojave post-covid sindroma. Simptomi vezani uz ovaj sindrom uznemiruju ih, onemogućuju normalno funkcioniranje i traju tjednima, a nekad i mjesecima. Neobično je i što se post-covid problemi ne događaju samo osobama koje su preboljele teži oblik korone, nego i pacijentima koji su imali blagi oblik bolesti. 

Prema podacima hrvatskih liječnika, najčešći simptomi koji se pojavljuju kod pacijenata nakon preboljele akutne faze Covid-19 uključuju dugotrajan gubitak osjeta okusa i mirisa, kroničan umor, malaksalost, poremećaj pamćenja i koncentracije, bolove u prsima, mišićima i zglobovima, pojačane glavobolje, noćno znojenje i nesanicu, kožni osip, kao i gubitak kose.

U post-covid dnevnoj bolnici u Dubravi posebno se proučava cirkulacija, među ostalim, pacijentima se radi i perfuzijska scintigrafija pluća. Riječ je o dijagnostičkom postupku kojim se slikovno prikazuje prokrvljenost plućnog parenhima. Tu se daje kontrast i prati prokrvljenost, odnosno gleda jesu li dijelovi pluća zadovoljavajuće prokrvljeni. Kod određenog broja pacijenata uočeno je da pojedine male krvne žile nisu zadovoljavajuće prokrvljene, odnosno da nemaju dobar protok krvi.

Zato je iznimno važna upravo objavljena opsežna medicinska studija o posljedicama koje koronavirus ostavlja na ljudsko zdravlje.

Objavio ju je ugledni British Medical Journal.

Istraživanje koje je obuhvatilo čak 50 tisuća pacijenata hospitaliziranih zbog Covida njihove je detaljne medicinske podatke nakon bolesti kompariralo s kontrolnom skupinom ljudi koji nisu imali koronu. Zaključci medicinske studije govore da je koronavirus i na preživjelima u prosjeku ostavio ozbiljne zdravstvene posljedice.

Podaci pokazuju da je u roku od 140 dana nakon bolesti, čak 30 posto covid-rekonvalescenata ponovno hospitalizirano, i to četiri puta češće od ljudi koji koronu nisu imali.

Jedan od deset rekonvalescenata je u istom razdoblju preminuo: smrt je bila čak osam puta učestalija nego u drugoj, 'nekoronskoj' skupini.

Respiratorne bolesti, dijabetes i kardiovaskularne bolesti su također bile znakovito učestalije kod rekonvalescenata od covida, a istaknuto je i kako ovi zdravstveni rizici nije ograničeni samo na stariju populaciju.

Preporuke iz studije u British Medical Journalu glase: dijagnoza, liječenje i prevencija post-covid sindroma zahtijeva integrirani pristup, a ne analizu utjecaja na pojedine organe ili bolesti, te su potrebna hitna nova istraživanja kako bi se utvrdili svi faktori rizika.

Dakle, naspram dežurnih hrvatskih i inih skeptika koji odriču covidu potencijal smrtnosti kod svakog preminulog koji je imao neku drugu bolest (komorbiditet), stoji medicinska studija iz Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva koja govori da Covid-19 ubija i mjesecima nakon što ga preboliš.

U Hrvatskoj je sve više pacijenata koji se javljaju liječnicima zbog pojave post-covid sindroma. Simptomi vezani uz ovaj sindrom uznemiruju ih, onemogućuju normalno funkcioniranje i traju tjednima, a nekad i mjesecima. Neobično je i što se post-covid problemi ne događaju samo osobama koje su preboljele teži oblik korone, nego i pacijentima koji su imali blagi oblik bolesti. 

Prema podacima hrvatskih liječnika, najčešći simptomi koji se pojavljuju kod pacijenata nakon preboljele akutne faze Covid-19 uključuju dugotrajan gubitak osjeta okusa i mirisa, kroničan umor, malaksalost, poremećaj pamćenja i koncentracije, bolove u prsima, mišićima i zglobovima, pojačane glavobolje, noćno znojenje i nesanicu, kožni osip, kao i gubitak kose.

U post-covid dnevnoj bolnici u Dubravi posebno se proučava cirkulacija, među ostalim, pacijentima se radi i perfuzijska scintigrafija pluća. Riječ je o dijagnostičkom postupku kojim se slikovno prikazuje prokrvljenost plućnog parenhima. Tu se daje kontrast i prati prokrvljenost, odnosno gleda jesu li dijelovi pluća zadovoljavajuće prokrvljeni. Kod određenog broja pacijenata uočeno je da pojedine male krvne žile nisu zadovoljavajuće prokrvljene, odnosno da nemaju dobar protok krvi.
