Voditeljica izraelske studije o učinkovitosti cjepiva protiv covida ističe da brojke pokazuju petorostruko povećanje antitijela nakon primitka četvrte doze, što smatra "dobrim, ali nedovoljnim".
“Vidimo određeni porast antitijela, ali taj porast nije jako dojmljiv", rekla je profesorica Gili Regev izraelskoj novinskoj stranici Ynet, pozivajući se na preliminarne rezultate studije.
U sudionika istraživanja se već nedugo nakon primitka četvrte doze cjepiva razina antitijela vratila na istu razinu kakvu su imali nakon treće doze, rekla je Regev, napominjući da je očekivala više od takozvanog drugog boostera.
Cilj ne može biti da se protiv koronavirusa cijepimo svaka četiri mjeseca, rekla je Regev. No dodala je da joj je drago što je Izrael ranjivim skupinama, kao što su imunokompromitirani i stariji od 60 već dao četvrtu dozu.
“Ali zaista nisam sigurna je li nužno sada svima dati četvrtu dozu. Trebamo više informacija." Istodobno Regev ističe golemu važnost prvog boostera.
"Oni koji su primili prvu i drugu dozu hitno trebaju primiti i treću. Trebaju 'otrčati' u centar za cijepljenje", kazala je.
U međuvremenu je u izraelskoj bolnici Shiba počelo još jedno ispitivanje četvrte doze cjepiva. Ovaj se put radi o 150 sudionika koji su primili četvrtu dozu Modernina cjepiva nakon triju doza Pfizerova.
"Možda bi kombinacija cjepiva bila bolja. Vidjet ćemo", kaže Regev. To je prvo ispitivanje četvrtog cijepljenja kombiniranim cjepivima u svijetu", kaže.
Oko 61 posto od 9,4 milijuna Izraelaca smatra se potpuno cijepljenima. Trideset posto populacije uopće nije cijepljeno, a za devet posto je istekla valjanost cijepljenja.
Oko 254 tisuće Izraelaca primilo je četvrtu dozu cjepiva protiv koronavirusa u prvome tjednu nakon što je cjepivo bilo dostupno, podaci su ministarstva zdravstva.
Zasad su samo osobe starije od 60 godina, medicinsko osoblje i oni sa slabim imunitetom prioritetni za cijepljenje četvrtom dozom.
Zbog širenja jako prenosive varijante koronavirusa, omikrona, zemlja je zabilježila neviđen dnevni porast novozaraženih.
S obzirom na sve veći broj slučajeva zaraze, i među medicinskim radnicima, ministarstvo zdravstva razmatra mogućnost da dopusti liječnicima i medicinskim sestrama nastavak obavljanja posla čak i kada test pokaže da su pozitivni na koronavirus, sve dok ne pokazuju nikakve simptome, navode mediji.

Voditeljica izraelske studije o učinkovitosti cjepiva protiv covida ističe da brojke pokazuju petorostruko povećanje antitijela nakon primitka četvrte doze, što smatra "dobrim, ali nedovoljnim".
“Vidimo određeni porast antitijela, ali taj porast nije jako dojmljiv", rekla je profesorica Gili Regev izraelskoj novinskoj stranici Ynet, pozivajući se na preliminarne rezultate studije.
U sudionika istraživanja se već nedugo nakon primitka četvrte doze cjepiva razina antitijela vratila na istu razinu kakvu su imali nakon treće doze, rekla je Regev, napominjući da je očekivala više od takozvanog drugog boostera.
Cilj ne može biti da se protiv koronavirusa cijepimo svaka četiri mjeseca, rekla je Regev. No dodala je da joj je drago što je Izrael ranjivim skupinama, kao što su imunokompromitirani i stariji od 60 već dao četvrtu dozu.
“Ali zaista nisam sigurna je li nužno sada svima dati četvrtu dozu. Trebamo više informacija." Istodobno Regev ističe golemu važnost prvog boostera.
"Oni koji su primili prvu i drugu dozu hitno trebaju primiti i treću. Trebaju 'otrčati' u centar za cijepljenje", kazala je.
U međuvremenu je u izraelskoj bolnici Shiba počelo još jedno ispitivanje četvrte doze cjepiva. Ovaj se put radi o 150 sudionika koji su primili četvrtu dozu Modernina cjepiva nakon triju doza Pfizerova.
"Možda bi kombinacija cjepiva bila bolja. Vidjet ćemo", kaže Regev. To je prvo ispitivanje četvrtog cijepljenja kombiniranim cjepivima u svijetu", kaže.
Oko 61 posto od 9,4 milijuna Izraelaca smatra se potpuno cijepljenima. Trideset posto populacije uopće nije cijepljeno, a za devet posto je istekla valjanost cijepljenja.
Oko 254 tisuće Izraelaca primilo je četvrtu dozu cjepiva protiv koronavirusa u prvome tjednu nakon što je cjepivo bilo dostupno, podaci su ministarstva zdravstva.
Zasad su samo osobe starije od 60 godina, medicinsko osoblje i oni sa slabim imunitetom prioritetni za cijepljenje četvrtom dozom.
Zbog širenja jako prenosive varijante koronavirusa, omikrona, zemlja je zabilježila neviđen dnevni porast novozaraženih.
S obzirom na sve veći broj slučajeva zaraze, i među medicinskim radnicima, ministarstvo zdravstva razmatra mogućnost da dopusti liječnicima i medicinskim sestrama nastavak obavljanja posla čak i kada test pokaže da su pozitivni na koronavirus, sve dok ne pokazuju nikakve simptome, navode mediji.
