Zbog zaštite osobnih pdoataka mnogi danas viču na sav glas i pušu na hladno. I to s razlogom. Bilo je previše velikih slučajeva zloporabe osobnih podataka, a neki ilegalno dobiveni podaci korišteni su i za kriminal.
Američka tehnološka megakompanija je zbog zaštite privatnosti i sigurnosti ljudi na internetu, ali i u strahu od tužbi i zbog održavanja prijateljskog imidža kompanije prema korisnicima od kojih živi prije nekoliko godina krenula s brisanjem osobnih podataka, na zahtjev korisnika ili samoinicijativno. Sada su krenuli i korak dalje.
Google je u srijedu priopćio da korisnici mogu zatražiti da se njihove adrese, telefonski brojevi i kontakti e-pošte uklone iz rezultata, kao što su prije uklanjali podatke o bankovnim računima ili brojevima kreditnih kartica.
"Dostupnost osobnih podataka za kontakt na mreži može se koristiti na štetne načine, uključujući neželjeni izravan kontakt ili čak fizičku prijetnju. Ljudi su nam dali povratne informacije da bi željeli mogućnost uklanjanja ove vrste informacija iz pretraživanja u nekim slučajevima. Uklanjanje sadržaja iz Google pretraživanja neće ga ukloniti s interneta nego treba izravno kontaktirati web lokaciju za hosting kako biste uklonili svoje podatke na internetu", napisao je Google u blogu, prenosi Net.hr.

Za obradu zahtjeva potrebno je nekoliko dana, a Google će pripaziti da se ne ograniči dostupnost korisnih informacija, a neće ukloniti podatke koji su dio javnog zapisa na vladinim web stranicama ili službenim izvorima.
Reklo bi se da je pred američkim tehnološkim divom veliki posao u kojem je već postigao dobre rezultate. Ali zaštite privatnosti i sigurnosti na internetu nikad dosta. Kako zbog zaštite od neželjenih kontakata i njighova dijeljenja, tako i od prevaranata.

Zbog zaštite osobnih pdoataka mnogi danas viču na sav glas i pušu na hladno. I to s razlogom. Bilo je previše velikih slučajeva zloporabe osobnih podataka, a neki ilegalno dobiveni podaci korišteni su i za kriminal.
Američka tehnološka megakompanija je zbog zaštite privatnosti i sigurnosti ljudi na internetu, ali i u strahu od tužbi i zbog održavanja prijateljskog imidža kompanije prema korisnicima od kojih živi prije nekoliko godina krenula s brisanjem osobnih podataka, na zahtjev korisnika ili samoinicijativno. Sada su krenuli i korak dalje.
Google je u srijedu priopćio da korisnici mogu zatražiti da se njihove adrese, telefonski brojevi i kontakti e-pošte uklone iz rezultata, kao što su prije uklanjali podatke o bankovnim računima ili brojevima kreditnih kartica.
"Dostupnost osobnih podataka za kontakt na mreži može se koristiti na štetne načine, uključujući neželjeni izravan kontakt ili čak fizičku prijetnju. Ljudi su nam dali povratne informacije da bi željeli mogućnost uklanjanja ove vrste informacija iz pretraživanja u nekim slučajevima. Uklanjanje sadržaja iz Google pretraživanja neće ga ukloniti s interneta nego treba izravno kontaktirati web lokaciju za hosting kako biste uklonili svoje podatke na internetu", napisao je Google u blogu, prenosi Net.hr.

Za obradu zahtjeva potrebno je nekoliko dana, a Google će pripaziti da se ne ograniči dostupnost korisnih informacija, a neće ukloniti podatke koji su dio javnog zapisa na vladinim web stranicama ili službenim izvorima.
Reklo bi se da je pred američkim tehnološkim divom veliki posao u kojem je već postigao dobre rezultate. Ali zaštite privatnosti i sigurnosti na internetu nikad dosta. Kako zbog zaštite od neželjenih kontakata i njighova dijeljenja, tako i od prevaranata.
