Američki milijarder Elon Musk dobiva ozbiljnu konkurenciju s Istoka - kineski vojni istraživači planiraju u orbiti blizu Zemlje izgraditi ogromnu satelitsku mrežu za pružanje internetskih usluga korisnicima širom svijeta, koja bi potisnula Muskov Starlink.
Kako navodi kineski list South China Morning Post, projekt ima kodno ime „GW”, a vodi ga profesor Xu Can sa Sveučilišta za svemirski inženjering Narodnooslobodilačke vojske Kine (PLA) u Pekingu.
U nedavnom članku o mjerama protiv Starlinka, objavljenom 15. veljače u kineskom časopisu „Command Control and Simulation”, profesor Xu i njegovi suradnici iznijeli su da će projekt uključivati ukupno 12.992 satelita u vlasništvu novoosnovane kompanije China Satellite Network Group Co, koja se uspoređuje s Muskovom tvrtkom SpaceX.
Raspored lansiranja ovih satelita nije poznat, ali kineski znanstvenici tvrde bi se brojka i tempo lansiranja mogli mjeriti sa SpaceX-ovom planiranom mrežom od preko 12.000 satelita koja bi trebala biti dovršena do 2027. godine.
Štoviše, Xuov tim navodi da će GW konstelacija satelita vjerojatno biti brzo postavljena, čak i „prije završetka Starlinka”.
„To bi osiguralo da naša zemlja ima mjesto u niskoj orbiti i spriječilo bi Starlink da pretjerano iskoristi resurse u niskoj orbiti”, pišu kineski znanstvenici u članku.
No, „satelitski plan” Pekinga ne zaustavlja se u niskoj orbiti. Xuov tim ističe da bi kineski sateliti također mogli biti postavljeni u „orbite koje Starlink konstelacija još nije dosegla”, dodajući da bi time „dobili prilike i prednosti na drugim orbitalnim visinama, pa čak i potisnuli Starlink”.
Uz to, Xu i suradnici navode da bi kineski sateliti mogli biti opremljeni anti-Starlink opremom za izvođenje raznih misija, poput provođenja „dugoročnog nadzora Starlink satelita”.
Anti-Starlink koalicija
U članku se potom upozorava na opasnosti koje Muskovi sateliti potencijalno imaju za kinesku sigurnost. Pozivajući se na najave iz Muskove tvrtke SpaceX da će mreža Starlink, koja sada ima preko 3000 satelita u orbiti, s vremenom narasti na preko 40.000 satelita, Xuov tim tvrdi se postojeći kineski svemirski nadzor i trenutni obrambeni kapaciteti „ne mogu nositi s toliko satelita”.
Osim toga, kako su istaknuli u članku, sateliti Starlink mogu primati podatke od Pentagona za planiranje ili koordiniranje svojih pozicija, a opremljeni su i nadzornim senzorima za praćenje svemirskog okruženja, što ih čini prijetnjom za kineske interese u svemiru.
„Sateliti Starlink mogu koristiti svoju orbitalnu manevarsku sposobnost da aktivno pogode i unište obližnje ciljeve u svemiru”, navode kineski istraživači.
Stoga, kako ističu, Kina planira izgraditi snažnije radarske sustave pokretane novom tehnologijom za prepoznavanje i praćenje Starlink satelita. Pritom bi se radar i druge mjere detekcije koristile za ažuriranje „Starlink kataloga”, koji bi sadržavao detaljne podatke o svakom pojedinačnom Muskovu satelitu.
Kina u ovoj „svemirskoj priči” računa i na suradnju i pomoć svojih saveznika. U tom smislu Xuov tim navodi bi vlada u Pekingu mogla surađivati s drugim vladama kako bi formirala koaliciju protiv Starlinka i „zahtijevala da SpaceX objavi precizne podatke o orbiti Starlink satelita”.
Kineski znanstvenici ističu i da će se u sklopu njihova projekta razviti nova oružja, uključujući lasere i mikrovalove velike snage, koja će se koristiti za uništavanje satelita Starlink koji prolaze iznad Kine ili drugih osjetljivih regija.
Ukratko: po svemu sudeći, nije daleko dan kad ćemo gledati pucačinu i u svemiru, kao da nije dovoljno zemaljskih frontova.

Američki milijarder Elon Musk dobiva ozbiljnu konkurenciju s Istoka - kineski vojni istraživači planiraju u orbiti blizu Zemlje izgraditi ogromnu satelitsku mrežu za pružanje internetskih usluga korisnicima širom svijeta, koja bi potisnula Muskov Starlink.
Kako navodi kineski list South China Morning Post, projekt ima kodno ime „GW”, a vodi ga profesor Xu Can sa Sveučilišta za svemirski inženjering Narodnooslobodilačke vojske Kine (PLA) u Pekingu.
U nedavnom članku o mjerama protiv Starlinka, objavljenom 15. veljače u kineskom časopisu „Command Control and Simulation”, profesor Xu i njegovi suradnici iznijeli su da će projekt uključivati ukupno 12.992 satelita u vlasništvu novoosnovane kompanije China Satellite Network Group Co, koja se uspoređuje s Muskovom tvrtkom SpaceX.
Raspored lansiranja ovih satelita nije poznat, ali kineski znanstvenici tvrde bi se brojka i tempo lansiranja mogli mjeriti sa SpaceX-ovom planiranom mrežom od preko 12.000 satelita koja bi trebala biti dovršena do 2027. godine.
Štoviše, Xuov tim navodi da će GW konstelacija satelita vjerojatno biti brzo postavljena, čak i „prije završetka Starlinka”.
„To bi osiguralo da naša zemlja ima mjesto u niskoj orbiti i spriječilo bi Starlink da pretjerano iskoristi resurse u niskoj orbiti”, pišu kineski znanstvenici u članku.
No, „satelitski plan” Pekinga ne zaustavlja se u niskoj orbiti. Xuov tim ističe da bi kineski sateliti također mogli biti postavljeni u „orbite koje Starlink konstelacija još nije dosegla”, dodajući da bi time „dobili prilike i prednosti na drugim orbitalnim visinama, pa čak i potisnuli Starlink”.
Uz to, Xu i suradnici navode da bi kineski sateliti mogli biti opremljeni anti-Starlink opremom za izvođenje raznih misija, poput provođenja „dugoročnog nadzora Starlink satelita”.
Anti-Starlink koalicija
U članku se potom upozorava na opasnosti koje Muskovi sateliti potencijalno imaju za kinesku sigurnost. Pozivajući se na najave iz Muskove tvrtke SpaceX da će mreža Starlink, koja sada ima preko 3000 satelita u orbiti, s vremenom narasti na preko 40.000 satelita, Xuov tim tvrdi se postojeći kineski svemirski nadzor i trenutni obrambeni kapaciteti „ne mogu nositi s toliko satelita”.
Osim toga, kako su istaknuli u članku, sateliti Starlink mogu primati podatke od Pentagona za planiranje ili koordiniranje svojih pozicija, a opremljeni su i nadzornim senzorima za praćenje svemirskog okruženja, što ih čini prijetnjom za kineske interese u svemiru.
„Sateliti Starlink mogu koristiti svoju orbitalnu manevarsku sposobnost da aktivno pogode i unište obližnje ciljeve u svemiru”, navode kineski istraživači.
Stoga, kako ističu, Kina planira izgraditi snažnije radarske sustave pokretane novom tehnologijom za prepoznavanje i praćenje Starlink satelita. Pritom bi se radar i druge mjere detekcije koristile za ažuriranje „Starlink kataloga”, koji bi sadržavao detaljne podatke o svakom pojedinačnom Muskovu satelitu.
Kina u ovoj „svemirskoj priči” računa i na suradnju i pomoć svojih saveznika. U tom smislu Xuov tim navodi bi vlada u Pekingu mogla surađivati s drugim vladama kako bi formirala koaliciju protiv Starlinka i „zahtijevala da SpaceX objavi precizne podatke o orbiti Starlink satelita”.
Kineski znanstvenici ističu i da će se u sklopu njihova projekta razviti nova oružja, uključujući lasere i mikrovalove velike snage, koja će se koristiti za uništavanje satelita Starlink koji prolaze iznad Kine ili drugih osjetljivih regija.
Ukratko: po svemu sudeći, nije daleko dan kad ćemo gledati pucačinu i u svemiru, kao da nije dovoljno zemaljskih frontova.
