Vođe jugoistočne Azije rekli su da su se u subotu s čelnikom mjanmarske hunte složili oko plana za okončanje krize u državi pogođenoj nasiljem, a on između ostaloga uključuje obustavu ubijanja civilnih prosvjednika i prihvaćanje humanitarne pomoći. 

"Nismo ovo očekivali", kazao je novinarima Muhyiddin Yassin, malezijski premijer, nakon sastanka čelnika Udruženja država jugoistočne Azije (ASEAN).

Vođe ASEAN-a zahtijevali su obuzdavanje sigurnosnih snaga koje vodi Min Aung Hlaing, zapovjednik mjanmarske vojske i koje su, prema riječima svjedoka, ubile 745 ljudi od početka masovnih nereda izazvanih vojnim pučem 1. veljače i zatvaranjem izabrane civilne čelnice Aung San Suu Kyi. Osim toga, tražili su oslobađanje političkih zatvorenika. 

"Dobro je što nije odbacio naše zahtjeve", rekao je Muhyiddin o zapovjedniku koji je bio na sastanku s ostalim čelnicima.
Prema izjavi Bruneja, predsjedatelja skupine, postignut je dogovor u vezi pet točaka, a to su: prekid nasilja, konstruktivan dijalog između svih strana, izbor posebnog izaslanika ASEAN-a za olakšavanje dijaloga, prihvaćanje pomoći i dolazak izaslanika u Mjanmar.

"Rekao je da će sve uzeti u obzir i da će prihvatiti naša stajališta za koja misli da su korisna", izjavio je Lee Hsien Loong, premijer Singapura, prenosi televizijski program NewsAsia. "Nije se protivio tome da ASEAN ima konstruktivnu ulogu, niti je odbio prijedlog o posjetu delegacije ni o humanitarnoj pomoći."

Lee je, međutim, dodao da se radi o dugom procesu "jer jedno je reći da ćete prekinuti nasilje i osloboditi političke zatvorenike, a druga stvar je to zaista učiniti".

Sastanak ASEAN-a prvi je koordinirani međunarodni korak ka ublažavanju krize u Mjanmaru, siromašnoj zemlji koja graniči s Kinom, Indijom i Tajlandom. Mjanmar je član ASEAN-a, udruženja od 10 država.

Vođe jugoistočne Azije rekli su da su se u subotu s čelnikom mjanmarske hunte složili oko plana za okončanje krize u državi pogođenoj nasiljem, a on između ostaloga uključuje obustavu ubijanja civilnih prosvjednika i prihvaćanje humanitarne pomoći. 

"Nismo ovo očekivali", kazao je novinarima Muhyiddin Yassin, malezijski premijer, nakon sastanka čelnika Udruženja država jugoistočne Azije (ASEAN).

Vođe ASEAN-a zahtijevali su obuzdavanje sigurnosnih snaga koje vodi Min Aung Hlaing, zapovjednik mjanmarske vojske i koje su, prema riječima svjedoka, ubile 745 ljudi od početka masovnih nereda izazvanih vojnim pučem 1. veljače i zatvaranjem izabrane civilne čelnice Aung San Suu Kyi. Osim toga, tražili su oslobađanje političkih zatvorenika. 

"Dobro je što nije odbacio naše zahtjeve", rekao je Muhyiddin o zapovjedniku koji je bio na sastanku s ostalim čelnicima.
Prema izjavi Bruneja, predsjedatelja skupine, postignut je dogovor u vezi pet točaka, a to su: prekid nasilja, konstruktivan dijalog između svih strana, izbor posebnog izaslanika ASEAN-a za olakšavanje dijaloga, prihvaćanje pomoći i dolazak izaslanika u Mjanmar.

"Rekao je da će sve uzeti u obzir i da će prihvatiti naša stajališta za koja misli da su korisna", izjavio je Lee Hsien Loong, premijer Singapura, prenosi televizijski program NewsAsia. "Nije se protivio tome da ASEAN ima konstruktivnu ulogu, niti je odbio prijedlog o posjetu delegacije ni o humanitarnoj pomoći."

Lee je, međutim, dodao da se radi o dugom procesu "jer jedno je reći da ćete prekinuti nasilje i osloboditi političke zatvorenike, a druga stvar je to zaista učiniti".

Sastanak ASEAN-a prvi je koordinirani međunarodni korak ka ublažavanju krize u Mjanmaru, siromašnoj zemlji koja graniči s Kinom, Indijom i Tajlandom. Mjanmar je član ASEAN-a, udruženja od 10 država.

Azijske države postigle dogovor o okončanju mjanmarske krize: u siromašnoj državi pogođenoj nasiljem stradavaju civili, stiže humanitarna pomoć

Vođe jugoistočne Azije rekli su da su se u subotu s čelnikom mjanmarske hunte složili oko plana za okončanje krize u državi pogođenoj nasiljem, a on između ostaloga uključuje obustavu ubijanja civilnih prosvjednika i prihvaćanje humanitarne pomoći. 

"Nismo ovo očekivali", kazao je novinarima Muhyiddin Yassin, malezijski premijer, nakon sastanka čelnika Udruženja država jugoistočne Azije (ASEAN).

Vođe ASEAN-a zahtijevali su obuzdavanje sigurnosnih snaga koje vodi Min Aung Hlaing, zapovjednik mjanmarske vojske i koje su, prema riječima svjedoka, ubile 745 ljudi od početka masovnih nereda izazvanih vojnim pučem 1. veljače i zatvaranjem izabrane civilne čelnice Aung San Suu Kyi. Osim toga, tražili su oslobađanje političkih zatvorenika.
