Na današnji dan prije sto godina rođen je dr. Franjo Tuđman. Njegova lika i djela službeno će se danas prisjetiti na dvije adrese, u Zagrebu i u Vukovaru. Stogodišnjica rođenja prilika je da se prvoga hrvatskog predsjednika prisjete i oni koji su s njim blisko surađivali.

Jedna od njih svakako je i Vesna Škare - Ožbolt, koja je s njim blisko surađivala od 1991. godine pa do Tuđmanove smrti. Ona je na Facebooku objavila zanimljivi, osobni i emotivni status.

"Bila je kišna nedjelja početkom rujna 1991. godine kada sam došla na razgovor za posao, predsjedniku Republike Franji Tuđmanu. Ponudio mi je posao savjetnika za odnose s javnošću. Predsjedniče, ali ja nikada nisam radila taj posao. "A što mislite da sam ja ikada prije bio predsjednik?", odbrusio mi je. I tako je krenulo naša suradnja, do kraja 1999. godine", zapisala je Škare-Ožbolt navodeći da je kroz te godine pratila Tuđmanovo radno vrijeme, a ono je bilo od 8.30 ujutro do dva sata iza ponoći, subotom i nedjeljom.

Rat, prognanici, pregovori i sve drugo nisu ostavljali mogućnost za korištenje godišnjeg odmora.

Vesna Škare - Ožbolt u Facebook statusu zapisala je kratku sintezu Tuđmanova političkoga rada: "U samo četiri godine uspio je zaustaviti rat i vratiti dio okupiranih područja, a istočni dio Hrvatske 1998. godine vratiti mirnim putem. Obnoviti zemlju, vratiti Hrvatsku u međunarodno priznate granice. Tvrdoglav, uporan i samovoljan da ostvari ciljeve za svoj narod. Bio je sjajan državnik, izvrstan strateg, ali i antitalent za ekonomiju", navela je Ožbolt.

Kao potvrdu svojih teza i po njoj možda najbolju ocjenu Tuđmanova djela Škare - Ožbolt je prenijela je pisanu izjavu doajena američke i svjetske diplomacije Henryja Kissingera:

"Gospodine predsjedniče, Vi ste zadužili svoj narod jer ste mu u povijesnim trenucima bili na čelu i omogućili stvaranje države. Ali kao i svi veliki ljudi, niti Vi nećete dočekati izraze zahvalnosti za to. Učinit će to tek dolazeće generacije. Ali vjerujte, učinit će. Vi ćete biti veliki čovjek hrvatske povijesti, ali ne za života, već kada ocjene budu donesene hladnom glavom", zapisao je Kissinger.

Na današnji dan prije sto godina rođen je dr. Franjo Tuđman. Njegova lika i djela službeno će se danas prisjetiti na dvije adrese, u Zagrebu i u Vukovaru. Stogodišnjica rođenja prilika je da se prvoga hrvatskog predsjednika prisjete i oni koji su s njim blisko surađivali.

Jedna od njih svakako je i Vesna Škare - Ožbolt, koja je s njim blisko surađivala od 1991. godine pa do Tuđmanove smrti. Ona je na Facebooku objavila zanimljivi, osobni i emotivni status.

"Bila je kišna nedjelja početkom rujna 1991. godine kada sam došla na razgovor za posao, predsjedniku Republike Franji Tuđmanu. Ponudio mi je posao savjetnika za odnose s javnošću. Predsjedniče, ali ja nikada nisam radila taj posao. "A što mislite da sam ja ikada prije bio predsjednik?", odbrusio mi je. I tako je krenulo naša suradnja, do kraja 1999. godine", zapisala je Škare-Ožbolt navodeći da je kroz te godine pratila Tuđmanovo radno vrijeme, a ono je bilo od 8.30 ujutro do dva sata iza ponoći, subotom i nedjeljom.

Rat, prognanici, pregovori i sve drugo nisu ostavljali mogućnost za korištenje godišnjeg odmora.

Vesna Škare - Ožbolt u Facebook statusu zapisala je kratku sintezu Tuđmanova političkoga rada: "U samo četiri godine uspio je zaustaviti rat i vratiti dio okupiranih područja, a istočni dio Hrvatske 1998. godine vratiti mirnim putem. Obnoviti zemlju, vratiti Hrvatsku u međunarodno priznate granice. Tvrdoglav, uporan i samovoljan da ostvari ciljeve za svoj narod. Bio je sjajan državnik, izvrstan strateg, ali i antitalent za ekonomiju", navela je Ožbolt.

Kao potvrdu svojih teza i po njoj možda najbolju ocjenu Tuđmanova djela Škare - Ožbolt je prenijela je pisanu izjavu doajena američke i svjetske diplomacije Henryja Kissingera:

"Gospodine predsjedniče, Vi ste zadužili svoj narod jer ste mu u povijesnim trenucima bili na čelu i omogućili stvaranje države. Ali kao i svi veliki ljudi, niti Vi nećete dočekati izraze zahvalnosti za to. Učinit će to tek dolazeće generacije. Ali vjerujte, učinit će. Vi ćete biti veliki čovjek hrvatske povijesti, ali ne za života, već kada ocjene budu donesene hladnom glavom", zapisao je Kissinger.
