Ured predsjednika Republike onemogućio je novinaru Jutarnjeg lista, Krešimiru Žabecu, da radi svoj posao uskrativši mu akreditaciju za konferenciju za tisak koju je predsjendik Republike, Zoran Milanović sazvao povodom (ne)imenovanja ravnatelja Vojne sigurnosno obavještajne agencije (VSOA). Ovo je prvi puta da je, i to bez ikakvog objašnjenja, novinaru onemogućeno obavljanje njegovog posla.
Na uredno poslanu obavijest da će Milanovićevu izvanrednu konferenciju za tisak pratiti kolega Žabec, iz Ureda predsjednika kratko su odgovorili: "Poštovani, Vaš zahtjev za akreditaciju za praćenje konferencije za medije Predsjednika Republike nije odobren. Pozdrav, Ured predsjednika Republike Hrvatske". Odluku je potpisao glasnogovornik Nikola Jelić.
Kolega Žabec godinama prati vojsku i sigurnosne službe, jedan je najboljih poznavatelja vojnog i obavještajanog sustava, a svaku temu obrađuje tako da kontaktira i traži stavove, te argumente svih strana, pa tako i predsjednika Republike u odnosu na njegove ustavne i zakonske nadležnosti u odnosu na vojsku.

Stoga je Žabec namjeravao pratiti najavljenu konferenciju za tisak.
"Poštovani, obavještavam Vas da će na današnju novinsku konferenciju predsjednika Republike iz Jutarnjeg lista doći novinar Krešimir Žabec", uputio je i potpisao službeni mail Uredu predsjednika. No, prvi puta od kada postoji, Ured predsjednika Republike novinaru je uskratio praćenje konferencije za tisak i to bez ikakva razloga i objašnjenja.
- Prilično sam šokiran postupkom glasnogovornika Ureda predsjednika Nikole Jelića da mi se zabrani dolazak na današnju novinsku konferenciju predsjednika Republike. Ne sumnjam kako to nije samostalna odluka glasnogovornika Ureda već je riječ o izravnom nalogu predsjednika Zorana Milanovića da se novinarima Hanza Medie onemogući obavljanje našeg redovnog posla - izjavio je kolega Žabec.
- U mojoj dosadašnjoj novinarskoj karijeri nikad mi niti jedan predsjednik, premijer, ministar ili neka državna institucija nije zabranila dolazak na novinsku konferenciju koju su sami sazvali. Bez obzira koliko im se nije sviđalo moje pisanje i nisu se slagali s mojim stajalištima uvijek su bili spremni odgovarati na moja pitanja. Predsjednik Milanović očito na to nije spreman te se odlučio na provođenje cenzure prema novinarima čiji stavovi i tekstovi mu nisu po volji - zaključio je kolega Žabec.

Ured predsjednika Republike onemogućio je novinaru Jutarnjeg lista, Krešimiru Žabecu, da radi svoj posao uskrativši mu akreditaciju za konferenciju za tisak koju je predsjendik Republike, Zoran Milanović sazvao povodom (ne)imenovanja ravnatelja Vojne sigurnosno obavještajne agencije (VSOA). Ovo je prvi puta da je, i to bez ikakvog objašnjenja, novinaru onemogućeno obavljanje njegovog posla.
Na uredno poslanu obavijest da će Milanovićevu izvanrednu konferenciju za tisak pratiti kolega Žabec, iz Ureda predsjednika kratko su odgovorili: "Poštovani, Vaš zahtjev za akreditaciju za praćenje konferencije za medije Predsjednika Republike nije odobren. Pozdrav, Ured predsjednika Republike Hrvatske". Odluku je potpisao glasnogovornik Nikola Jelić.
Kolega Žabec godinama prati vojsku i sigurnosne službe, jedan je najboljih poznavatelja vojnog i obavještajanog sustava, a svaku temu obrađuje tako da kontaktira i traži stavove, te argumente svih strana, pa tako i predsjednika Republike u odnosu na njegove ustavne i zakonske nadležnosti u odnosu na vojsku.

Stoga je Žabec namjeravao pratiti najavljenu konferenciju za tisak.
"Poštovani, obavještavam Vas da će na današnju novinsku konferenciju predsjednika Republike iz Jutarnjeg lista doći novinar Krešimir Žabec", uputio je i potpisao službeni mail Uredu predsjednika. No, prvi puta od kada postoji, Ured predsjednika Republike novinaru je uskratio praćenje konferencije za tisak i to bez ikakva razloga i objašnjenja.
- Prilično sam šokiran postupkom glasnogovornika Ureda predsjednika Nikole Jelića da mi se zabrani dolazak na današnju novinsku konferenciju predsjednika Republike. Ne sumnjam kako to nije samostalna odluka glasnogovornika Ureda već je riječ o izravnom nalogu predsjednika Zorana Milanovića da se novinarima Hanza Medie onemogući obavljanje našeg redovnog posla - izjavio je kolega Žabec.
- U mojoj dosadašnjoj novinarskoj karijeri nikad mi niti jedan predsjednik, premijer, ministar ili neka državna institucija nije zabranila dolazak na novinsku konferenciju koju su sami sazvali. Bez obzira koliko im se nije sviđalo moje pisanje i nisu se slagali s mojim stajalištima uvijek su bili spremni odgovarati na moja pitanja. Predsjednik Milanović očito na to nije spreman te se odlučio na provođenje cenzure prema novinarima čiji stavovi i tekstovi mu nisu po volji - zaključio je kolega Žabec.
