Mnogi hrvatski građani, od Istre do Zagreba, imali su u petak priliku svjedočiti rijetkom fenomenu - u atmosferu je ušao meteor i izgorio iznad Hrvatske.

Ekipa Dnevnika Nove TV posjetila je zvjezdarnicu u Višnjanu gdje su razgovarali s astronomom Koradom Korlevićem koji je otkrio sve što trebamo znati o tom fenomenu.

- Superbolidi su u stvari - rijetki. Ovo što je bilo danas u jutarnjim satima u zapadnoj Hrvatskoj je nešto što se svakih desetak godina događa. S tim da je u ovom slučaju bilo neobično rijetko - brzina tog tijela. Uspjeli smo u međuvremenu dobiti snimke koje su ljudi napravili i objekat je puno brži nego što smo očekivali.

I eksplozija koja je proizvela onaj zvuk i seizmičke zapise je bila toliko jaka da je, u principu, uništila objekat. Očekivani pad meteorita na granici između Hrvatske i Slovenije, u ovom slučaju, otpada. U narednih nekoliko dana padat će prašina koja je nastala u toj ekploziji. I, naravno, znat ćemo puno više kada se bude analiziralo seizmičke zapise.

Naš ugledni astronom objasnio je što sve znamo o meteoritu, s obzirom da ne znamo gdje je pao.

- Znamo da više ne postoji. Znamo da je to sada 20 ili 30 kilograma prašine koja lagano pada prema Zemlji, znamo da postoje zapisi na mnoštvu seizmografa i da ćemo te podatke skupiti i onda će se moći izračunati i snaga i ukupna masa, točna lokacija. Ono što znamo - to je da je u atmosferu ušao negdje kod Ogulina i da je išao prema Zagrebu. Prema zapisima očevidaca - eksplozija je bila jaka. Očekujemo da će čak i sustav za praćenje nuklearnih eksplozija zabilježiti tu eksploziju, rekao je.

Otkrio je što možemo saznati iz prašine.

- Nije lako, zato što ima vjetra. Da bismo mogli uloviti tu prašinu, morali bismo imati anticiklonu i ta dva dana da vjetrovi ne pušu. Vidimo iz snimaka koje su nam ljudi poslali da su vjetrovi rastrgali sam oblak prašine koji je ostao. Može se napraviti dio kemijskog sastava, ali po brzini i načinu eksplozije znamo da je kometski materijal, da nije na Zemlju došlo nešto krupno.

Komentirao je možemo li u budućnosti očekivati još takvih bolida.

- Mi se nadamo da neće biti većih od toga, zato što su veći problem. Veći se u povijesti spominju kao Sodoma i Gomora, kao biblijski potop. No, tih malih, površinskih, svakih deset godina. U Rusiji je to gotovo svaki tjedan.

Otkrio je da je ovaj bolid vjerojatno stigao sa zvijezde repatice, sudeći prema brzini. Zatim je objasnio kako se ostatak od bolida može razlikovati od običnog kamenja.

- U ovom slučaju, nakon te eksplozije, bio bi veličine oraha, veličine lješnjaka i to kamen jako, jako crne boje. Znači - gotovo kao čađa, rekao je.

Kaže da bismo prve podatke o bolidu mogli znati već za tjedan dana.

- Za zadnje podatke potrebni su mjeseci. Skupit će se mikrobarografski zapisi, američka veleposlanstva imaju svoje uređaje za mjerenje nuklearne eksplozije i kad se to sve skupi, onda će biti znanstveni članak o tom superbolidu iznad zapadne Hrvatske.

Istaknuo je kako u Hrvatskoj nije postojala kultura čuvanja ostataka meteora.

- Mi smo jako puno toga izgubili jer nije postojala kultura da se oni čuvaju. Kad je prije šezdesetak godina kod Dubrovnika pala kiša meteorita, samo je jedan sačuvan i nalazi se u Prirodoslovnom muzeju u Zagrebu. Tamo je bilo stotine kilograma koje su pale po molu i po moru i nisu nikad skupljeni.

Mnogi hrvatski građani, od Istre do Zagreba, imali su u petak priliku svjedočiti rijetkom fenomenu - u atmosferu je ušao meteor i izgorio iznad Hrvatske.

Ekipa Dnevnika Nove TV posjetila je zvjezdarnicu u Višnjanu gdje su razgovarali s astronomom Koradom Korlevićem koji je otkrio sve što trebamo znati o tom fenomenu.

- Superbolidi su u stvari - rijetki. Ovo što je bilo danas u jutarnjim satima u zapadnoj Hrvatskoj je nešto što se svakih desetak godina događa. S tim da je u ovom slučaju bilo neobično rijetko - brzina tog tijela. Uspjeli smo u međuvremenu dobiti snimke koje su ljudi napravili i objekat je puno brži nego što smo očekivali.

I eksplozija koja je proizvela onaj zvuk i seizmičke zapise je bila toliko jaka da je, u principu, uništila objekat. Očekivani pad meteorita na granici između Hrvatske i Slovenije, u ovom slučaju, otpada. U narednih nekoliko dana padat će prašina koja je nastala u toj ekploziji. I, naravno, znat ćemo puno više kada se bude analiziralo seizmičke zapise.

Naš ugledni astronom objasnio je što sve znamo o meteoritu, s obzirom da ne znamo gdje je pao.

- Znamo da više ne postoji. Znamo da je to sada 20 ili 30 kilograma prašine koja lagano pada prema Zemlji, znamo da postoje zapisi na mnoštvu seizmografa i da ćemo te podatke skupiti i onda će se moći izračunati i snaga i ukupna masa, točna lokacija. Ono što znamo - to je da je u atmosferu ušao negdje kod Ogulina i da je išao prema Zagrebu. Prema zapisima očevidaca - eksplozija je bila jaka. Očekujemo da će čak i sustav za praćenje nuklearnih eksplozija zabilježiti tu eksploziju, rekao je.

Otkrio je što možemo saznati iz prašine.

- Nije lako, zato što ima vjetra. Da bismo mogli uloviti tu prašinu, morali bismo imati anticiklonu i ta dva dana da vjetrovi ne pušu. Vidimo iz snimaka koje su nam ljudi poslali da su vjetrovi rastrgali sam oblak prašine koji je ostao. Može se napraviti dio kemijskog sastava, ali po brzini i načinu eksplozije znamo da je kometski materijal, da nije na Zemlju došlo nešto krupno.

Komentirao je možemo li u budućnosti očekivati još takvih bolida.

- Mi se nadamo da neće biti većih od toga, zato što su veći problem. Veći se u povijesti spominju kao Sodoma i Gomora, kao biblijski potop. No, tih malih, površinskih, svakih deset godina. U Rusiji je to gotovo svaki tjedan.

Otkrio je da je ovaj bolid vjerojatno stigao sa zvijezde repatice, sudeći prema brzini. Zatim je objasnio kako se ostatak od bolida može razlikovati od običnog kamenja.

- U ovom slučaju, nakon te eksplozije, bio bi veličine oraha, veličine lješnjaka i to kamen jako, jako crne boje. Znači - gotovo kao čađa, rekao je.

Kaže da bismo prve podatke o bolidu mogli znati već za tjedan dana.

- Za zadnje podatke potrebni su mjeseci. Skupit će se mikrobarografski zapisi, američka veleposlanstva imaju svoje uređaje za mjerenje nuklearne eksplozije i kad se to sve skupi, onda će biti znanstveni članak o tom superbolidu iznad zapadne Hrvatske.

Istaknuo je kako u Hrvatskoj nije postojala kultura čuvanja ostataka meteora.

- Mi smo jako puno toga izgubili jer nije postojala kultura da se oni čuvaju. Kad je prije šezdesetak godina kod Dubrovnika pala kiša meteorita, samo je jedan sačuvan i nalazi se u Prirodoslovnom muzeju u Zagrebu. Tamo je bilo stotine kilograma koje su pale po molu i po moru i nisu nikad skupljeni.

Mnogi hrvatski građani, od Istre do Zagreba, imali su u petak priliku svjedočiti rijetkom fenomenu - u atmosferu je ušao meteor i izgorio iznad Hrvatske.

Ekipa Dnevnika Nove TV posjetila je zvjezdarnicu u Višnjanu gdje su razgovarali s astronomom Koradom Korlevićem koji je otkrio sve što trebamo znati o tom fenomenu.

- Superbolidi su u stvari - rijetki. Ovo što je bilo danas u jutarnjim satima u zapadnoj Hrvatskoj je nešto što se svakih desetak godina događa. S tim da je u ovom slučaju bilo neobično rijetko - brzina tog tijela. Uspjeli smo u međuvremenu dobiti snimke koje su ljudi napravili i objekat je puno brži nego što smo očekivali.

I eksplozija koja je proizvela onaj zvuk i seizmičke zapise je bila toliko jaka da je, u principu, uništila objekat. Očekivani pad...
