U zadnjem desetljeću socijalizma zagrebački su studenti samo jednom organizirali prosvjed. Nezadovoljni kvalitetom hrane u menzi, okupili su se na platou ispred SC-a i zatražili ostavku direktora RO Prehrana, ili kako se već nazivao dotični odjel nadležan za tovljenje mladeži. Sve je bilo dostojanstveno i ozbiljno dok se među pobunjenom masom nije pronio glas kako odgovorni drug čija se glava tražila ima neobično znakovito prezime, naime, Žderić.

Seriozni skup začas se pretvorio u vlastitu suprotnost, neobuzdanu lakrdiju u kojoj su se okupljeni smijali kao ludi na brašno. Ako me pamćenje ne vara, prehrambeni ustanak zaključen je potpunim uspjehom: ručkovi su postali ukusniji i kaloričniji, a sirotome Žderiću nije preostalo ništa drugo osim da se pojede od muke, jer su ga istog dana smijenili s odgovornog položaja.

Ali zašto vas uopće gnjavim s ovom prastarom povijesnom epizodom? Naprosto zato što zadnjih dana, baš kao i vi, često imam prilike čuti još jedno znakovito prezime koje nosi čovjek umnogome nalik nekadašnjem direktoru studentske prehrane. Radi se o ravnatelju Državne uprave za zaštitu i spašavanje, Damiru Trutu. Javna činjenica postao je neposredno nakon kornatske tragedije, kad je objavljeno da akciju spašavanja nije mogao koordinirati tadašnji ravnatelj Đuro Poldrugač jer je bio na godišnjem odmoru, a da ga je zamjenjivao upravo Trut.

Ta tragedija nije nimalo usporila njegov karijerni uspon, dapače, kao da mu je dala ozbiljan poguranac. Na naslovne stranice opet je dospio nakon zagrebačkog potresa, kad je postalo jasno kako je zakazao cijeli sustav civilne zaštite, a stvar su morali spašavati samoorganizirani kuhari i navijači (poslije svega, potonje je još imao obraza optužiti za blokadu putova, pijanstvo i tučnjave).

Potres je, kao što znamo, bio vrlo jak, ali nedovoljno snažan da zaljulja Truta koji se mirne duše mogao nastaviti rugati radilicama. Naravno, toga dugovječnog meštra od uzbune, inače mostarskog doktora znanosti s fakulteta pod istragom za kupovanje diploma, neće otpuhati ni oluja koja je razorila trećinu Hrvatske.

Izostanak pravodobne reakcije pokušao je nemušto opravdati argumentima za daltoniste (je li opasnost bila narančasta ili crvena, boje mrkve ili merlota) i... nikom ništa. Kad god se u njegovu resoru dogodi nešto strašno, uvijek je odgovorna viša sila. A ona je, baš kao i on, nesmjenjiva.

Zanimljivo je, međutim, istaknuti kako se ljudi koji ne proizvode nikakvu društvenu korist, nego najčešće njezinu suštu suprotnost, itekako umiju izboriti za osobne probitke. Trut i njegova gospođa, časnica u Ministarstvu obrane, imaju tri stana, dvije kuće, Jeep Compass (terenac mu je, valjda, uvjetovan terenskom prirodom njegova položaja), nešto dionica i ušteđevine. On se, dakle, (imovinski) zaštitio i (ekonomski) spasio, a za druge ga boli patka, žuta, narančasta ili crvena, svejedno.

U zadnjem desetljeću socijalizma zagrebački su studenti samo jednom organizirali prosvjed. Nezadovoljni kvalitetom hrane u menzi, okupili su se na platou ispred SC-a i zatražili ostavku direktora RO Prehrana, ili kako se već nazivao dotični odjel nadležan za tovljenje mladeži. Sve je bilo dostojanstveno i ozbiljno dok se među pobunjenom masom nije pronio glas kako odgovorni drug čija se glava tražila ima neobično znakovito prezime, naime, Žderić.

Seriozni skup začas se pretvorio u vlastitu suprotnost, neobuzdanu lakrdiju u kojoj su se okupljeni smijali kao ludi na brašno. Ako me pamćenje ne vara, prehrambeni ustanak zaključen je potpunim uspjehom: ručkovi su postali ukusniji i kaloričniji, a sirotome Žderiću nije preostalo ništa drugo osim da se pojede od muke, jer su ga istog dana smijenili s odgovornog položaja.

Ali zašto vas uopće gnjavim s ovom prastarom povijesnom epizodom? Naprosto zato što zadnjih dana, baš kao i vi, često imam prilike čuti još jedno znakovito prezime koje nosi čovjek umnogome nalik nekadašnjem direktoru studentske prehrane. Radi se o ravnatelju Državne uprave za zaštitu i spašavanje, Damiru Trutu. Javna činjenica postao je neposredno nakon kornatske tragedije, kad je objavljeno da akciju spašavanja nije mogao koordinirati tadašnji ravnatelj Đuro Poldrugač jer je bio na godišnjem odmoru, a da ga je zamjenjivao upravo Trut.

Ta tragedija nije nimalo usporila njegov karijerni uspon, dapače, kao da mu je dala ozbiljan poguranac. Na naslovne stranice opet je dospio nakon zagrebačkog potresa, kad je postalo jasno kako je zakazao cijeli sustav civilne zaštite, a stvar su morali spašavati samoorganizirani kuhari i navijači (poslije svega, potonje je još imao obraza optužiti za blokadu putova, pijanstvo i tučnjave).

Potres je, kao što znamo, bio vrlo jak, ali nedovoljno snažan da zaljulja Truta koji se mirne duše mogao nastaviti rugati radilicama. Naravno, toga dugovječnog meštra od uzbune, inače mostarskog doktora znanosti s fakulteta pod istragom za kupovanje diploma, neće otpuhati ni oluja koja je razorila trećinu Hrvatske.

Izostanak pravodobne reakcije pokušao je nemušto opravdati argumentima za daltoniste (je li opasnost bila narančasta ili crvena, boje mrkve ili merlota) i... nikom ništa. Kad god se u njegovu resoru dogodi nešto strašno, uvijek je odgovorna viša sila. A ona je, baš kao i on, nesmjenjiva.

Zanimljivo je, međutim, istaknuti kako se ljudi koji ne proizvode nikakvu društvenu korist, nego najčešće njezinu suštu suprotnost, itekako umiju izboriti za osobne probitke. Trut i njegova gospođa, časnica u Ministarstvu obrane, imaju tri stana, dvije kuće, Jeep Compass (terenac mu je, valjda, uvjetovan terenskom prirodom njegova položaja), nešto dionica i ušteđevine. On se, dakle, (imovinski) zaštitio i (ekonomski) spasio, a za druge ga boli patka, žuta, narančasta ili crvena, svejedno.
