Prof. dr.sc. Stipan Jonjić imunolog s Medicinskog fakulteta u Rijeci gostujući u emisiji Studio 4 HRT-a rekao je kako se omikron širi nevjerojatnom brzinom i da nema dvojbe da će se situacija koja se događa u drugim zemljama dogoditi i u Hrvatskoj.

Dodao je i da možemo očekivati drastične promjene ovaj i drugi tjedan.

- Korona je već nekoliko puta pokazala neka posebna svojstva gdje neke dijelove zaobiđe, ali čini mi se da se to neće dogoditi kod nas jer mi imamo najmanje restriktivne mjere. Pretpostavljam da će se morati dogoditi i neke konkretne mjere kako bi se sustav održao, rekao je.

- Postoje informacije, koje dolaze iz eminentnih institucija, koje pokazuju da omikron rezultira smanjenom hospitalizacijom, ali ako imate eksponencijalni rast onda krajnji učinak će biti veća hospitalizacija. A prijeti i opasnost da veliki broj zdravstvenog osoblja bude pogođen jer se ova varijanta toliko promijenila u svom šiljku da je rezistentna na antitijela koja smo stekli cijepljenjem ili preboljenjem, rekao je Jonjić dodavši kako bi volio da nije u pravu, ali da smatra da nas čeka nimalo lagana situacija.

Osvrnuo se i na izjave nekih stručnjaka koji omikron najavljuju kao početak kraja epidemije.

- Svi priželjkujemo varijantu virusa koja će se dobro širiti i istovremeno biti manje patogena i na neki način oponašati srodne viruse iz obitelji koronavirusa, s kojima smo stalno u kontaktu, ali ne možemo se kao društvo osloniti na "možda će". Znamo da je ovo opasan i smrtonosan virus, vrlo nepredvidiv i da funkcionira kao srodni virusi - udari i pobjegni. Teško mi vjerovati da se virus tako brzo adaptirao da postane benigna varijanta koronavirusa poput srodnih koronavirusa.

- Cijelo vrijeme sam optimističan. Vjerujem da ćemo već iduće godine ući u prilično komotnu situaciju ako se procijepimo. Bit će novih cjepiva kojima ćemo možda trebati docjepljivati vulnerabilniju populaciju, idu i lijekovi koji štite... Moramo vjerovati u znanost i tehnologiju, a oni koji su odgovorni za zdravlje društva moraju činiti sve da mehanizme koji su im na raspolaganju iskoriste kako bi se očuvalo zdravlje društva, zaključio je prof. Jonjić za Studio 4 HRT-a.

Prof. dr.sc. Stipan Jonjić imunolog s Medicinskog fakulteta u Rijeci gostujući u emisiji Studio 4 HRT-a rekao je kako se omikron širi nevjerojatnom brzinom i da nema dvojbe da će se situacija koja se događa u drugim zemljama dogoditi i u Hrvatskoj.

Dodao je i da možemo očekivati drastične promjene ovaj i drugi tjedan.

- Korona je već nekoliko puta pokazala neka posebna svojstva gdje neke dijelove zaobiđe, ali čini mi se da se to neće dogoditi kod nas jer mi imamo najmanje restriktivne mjere. Pretpostavljam da će se morati dogoditi i neke konkretne mjere kako bi se sustav održao, rekao je.

- Postoje informacije, koje dolaze iz eminentnih institucija, koje pokazuju da omikron rezultira smanjenom hospitalizacijom, ali ako imate eksponencijalni rast onda krajnji učinak će biti veća hospitalizacija. A prijeti i opasnost da veliki broj zdravstvenog osoblja bude pogođen jer se ova varijanta toliko promijenila u svom šiljku da je rezistentna na antitijela koja smo stekli cijepljenjem ili preboljenjem, rekao je Jonjić dodavši kako bi volio da nije u pravu, ali da smatra da nas čeka nimalo lagana situacija.

Osvrnuo se i na izjave nekih stručnjaka koji omikron najavljuju kao početak kraja epidemije.

- Svi priželjkujemo varijantu virusa koja će se dobro širiti i istovremeno biti manje patogena i na neki način oponašati srodne viruse iz obitelji koronavirusa, s kojima smo stalno u kontaktu, ali ne možemo se kao društvo osloniti na "možda će". Znamo da je ovo opasan i smrtonosan virus, vrlo nepredvidiv i da funkcionira kao srodni virusi - udari i pobjegni. Teško mi vjerovati da se virus tako brzo adaptirao da postane benigna varijanta koronavirusa poput srodnih koronavirusa.

- Cijelo vrijeme sam optimističan. Vjerujem da ćemo već iduće godine ući u prilično komotnu situaciju ako se procijepimo. Bit će novih cjepiva kojima ćemo možda trebati docjepljivati vulnerabilniju populaciju, idu i lijekovi koji štite... Moramo vjerovati u znanost i tehnologiju, a oni koji su odgovorni za zdravlje društva moraju činiti sve da mehanizme koji su im na raspolaganju iskoriste kako bi se očuvalo zdravlje društva, zaključio je prof. Imunolog Jonjić: Omikron se širi nevjerojatnom brzinom, već ovog tjedna možemo očekivati drastične promjene

Prof. dr.sc. Stipan Jonjić imunolog s Medicinskog fakulteta u Rijeci gostujući u emisiji Studio 4 HRT-a rekao je kako se omikron širi nevjerojatnom brzinom i da nema dvojbe da će se situacija koja se događa u drugim zemljama dogoditi i u Hrvatskoj.

Dodao je i da možemo očekivati drastične promjene ovaj i drugi tjedan.

- Korona je već nekoliko puta pokazala neka posebna svojstva gdje neke dijelove zaobiđe, ali čini mi se da se to neće dogoditi kod nas jer mi imamo najmanje restriktivne mjere. Pretpostavljam da će se morati dogoditi i neke konkretne mjere kako bi se sustav održao, rekao je.

- Postoje informacije, koje dolaze iz eminentnih institucija, koje pokazuju da omikron rezultira smanjenom hospitalizacijom, ali ako imate eksponencijalni rast onda krajnji učinak će biti ...
