Nakon 20 godina pauze, na male ekrane se ponovno došetao i teksaški rendžer Cordell Walker, koji se do velikih nije nikad ni dobacio. Domaćoj publici stari Equalizer možda nije toliko poznat, ali svi znaju tko je Walker u tijelu Chucka Norrisa .
Emitiran u razdoblju kad je Chuck iz kina prešao na videofilmiće (1993.), "Walker, teksaški rendžer" bio je nekakav TV odgovor na njegov film "Usamljeni vuk McQuaid", slabiji, no dovoljno gledljiv za televizijske devedesete ("Spasilačka služba") da se do 2001. snimi više od 200 epizoda.
Replicirati Norrisa nije lako, stoga novi "Walker", lišen sufiksa "Texas Ranger", odstupa od prethodnika gotovo jednako kao "The Equalizer", uz osnovnu razliku da je barem spol teksaškog rendžera ostao isti.
Cordell nije postao Cordella ili Cordy, ali gotovo sve ostalo je drukčije. "Izgledaš kao kompletno drukčija osoba na toj slici", kaže Walkeru sin u jednoj sceni. Rijetke sličnosti tiču se mjesta radnje i rendžerskih šešira.
Ispod glavnog šešira nalazi se Jared Padalecki , dopadljivi glumac iz vrlo simpatične, nakon 15 sezona nedavno okončane serije "Supernatural".
Padalecki je okej u naslovnoj ulozi Walkera i ne pokušava oponašati Chucka u rijetkim akcijskim scenama, ni općenito. Čekaj malo, čitate u nevjerici, "rijetkim akcijskim scenama"?! Da, dobro ste pročitali.
Bez Norrisa na vidiku "Walker" nije akcijska serija kao prethodnik, više akcijska drama, s vagom koja debelo preteže na "drama", barem u prvih pet-šest epizoda, dok je akcija osrednje egzekucije svedena na poneku dobro zamišljenu, ali ne i izvedenu potjeru Walkera i njegove partnerice Micki Ramirez (Lindsey Morgan ) na relaciji konj-auto itd.

Uvod prve epizode, sa stradavanjem Walkerove supruge Emily (Jaredova životna partnerica Genevieve Padalecki ), najavljuje akcijski triler koji ne gledamo. Više gledamo dramu, i to obiteljskog tipa, što čovjek ne bi nikad očekivao od "Walkera".
Walker nakon povratka s dvogodišnjeg "undercover" zadatka pokušava ponovno ostvariti odnos s kćerkom (dobra Violet Brinson ) i sinom (Kale Culley ) koji su živjeli s njegovim roditeljima (Mitch Pileggi, Molly Hagan ), a nisu još preboljeli Emilynu smrt, baš poput njega.
Možda je zato iz naslova izbačeno "teksaški rendžer" jer se serija odnosi na familiju Walker. Obiteljska drama je svakako bolje riješena nego u "Equalizeru" i tu je novi "Walker" dosljedniji sebi, ako već ne starom "Walkeru".
Otklon je načelno zanimljivo inverzivan u dramatizaciji i uslojavanju akcijske serije koja se dotiče i imigracije: Padalecki kao Walker sastavlja obitelj, dok je Chuckov junak rastavljao negativce na proste faktore.
Međutim, autori su se odveć zanijeli dramom i lišili "Walkera" gotovo ikakvih uzbuđenja. Nitko nije očekivao da Padalecki poseže za karate-potezima kao Norris, ali barem jedna veća akcija po epizodi ne bi škodila, pa kakva jest da jest.
Jer, koji je smisao nazvati seriju "Walker", makar bez onoga "Texas Ranger", ako ta serija neće njegovati akcijski duh prethodnika. Bilo bi bolje za "Walkera" da je nazvan nekim drugim prezimenom.

Nakon 20 godina pauze, na male ekrane se ponovno došetao i teksaški rendžer Cordell Walker, koji se do velikih nije nikad ni dobacio. Domaćoj publici stari Equalizer možda nije toliko poznat, ali svi znaju tko je Walker u tijelu Chucka Norrisa .
Emitiran u razdoblju kad je Chuck iz kina prešao na videofilmiće (1993.), "Walker, teksaški rendžer" bio je nekakav TV odgovor na njegov film "Usamljeni vuk McQuaid", slabiji, no dovoljno gledljiv za televizijske devedesete ("Spasilačka služba") da se do 2001. snimi više od 200 epizoda.
Replicirati Norrisa nije lako, stoga novi "Walker", lišen sufiksa "Texas Ranger", odstupa od prethodnika gotovo jednako kao "The Equalizer", uz osnovnu razliku da je barem spol teksaškog rendžera ostao isti.
Cordell nije postao Cordella ili Cordy, ali gotovo sve ostalo je drukčije. "Izgledaš kao kompletno drukčija osoba na toj slici", kaže Walkeru sin u jednoj sceni. Rijetke sličnosti tiču se mjesta radnje i rendžerskih šešira.
Ispod glavnog šešira nalazi se Jared Padalecki , dopadljivi glumac iz vrlo simpatične, nakon 15 sezona nedavno okončane serije "Supernatural".
Padalecki je okej u naslovnoj ulozi Walkera i ne pokušava oponašati Chucka u rijetkim akcijskim scenama, ni općenito. Čekaj malo, čitate u nevjerici, "rijetkim akcijskim scenama"?! Da, dobro ste pročitali.
Bez Norrisa na vidiku "Walker" nije akcijska serija kao prethodnik, više akcijska drama, s vagom koja debelo preteže na "drama", barem u prvih pet-šest epizoda, dok je akcija osrednje egzekucije svedena na poneku dobro zamišljenu, ali ne i izvedenu potjeru Walkera i njegove partnerice Micki Ramirez (Lindsey Morgan ) na relaciji konj-auto itd.

Uvod prve epizode, sa stradavanjem Walkerove supruge Emily (Jaredova životna partnerica Genevieve Padalecki ), najavljuje akcijski triler koji ne gledamo. Više gledamo dramu, i to obiteljskog tipa, što čovjek ne bi nikad očekivao od "Walkera".
Walker nakon povratka s dvogodišnjeg "undercover" zadatka pokušava ponovno ostvariti odnos s kćerkom (dobra Violet Brinson ) i sinom (Kale Culley ) koji su živjeli s njegovim roditeljima (Mitch Pileggi, Molly Hagan ), a nisu još preboljeli Emilynu smrt, baš poput njega.
Možda je zato iz naslova izbačeno "teksaški rendžer" jer se serija odnosi na familiju Walker. Obiteljska drama je svakako bolje riješena nego u "Equalizeru" i tu je novi "Walker" dosljedniji sebi, ako već ne starom "Walkeru".
Otklon je načelno zanimljivo inverzivan u dramatizaciji i uslojavanju akcijske serije koja se dotiče i imigracije: Padalecki kao Walker sastavlja obitelj, dok je Chuckov junak rastavljao negativce na proste faktore.
Međutim, autori su se odveć zanijeli dramom i lišili "Walkera" gotovo ikakvih uzbuđenja. Nitko nije očekivao da Padalecki poseže za karate-potezima kao Norris, ali barem jedna veća akcija po epizodi ne bi škodila, pa kakva jest da jest.
Jer, koji je smisao nazvati seriju "Walker", makar bez onoga "Texas Ranger", ako ta serija neće njegovati akcijski duh prethodnika. Bilo bi bolje za "Walkera" da je nazvan nekim drugim prezimenom.
