Europsko udruženje nogometnih klubova (ECA) zatražilo je hitne razgovore s čelnicima Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) o sigurnosti igrača na predstojećem Afričkom kupu nacija.

Od 9. siječnja do 6. veljače iduće godine u Kamerunu će se održati afričko nogometno prvenstvo na kojem će nastupiti 24 reprezentacije, te brojni igrači iz europskih klubova.

U europskim klubovima su zabrinuti za sigurnost sudionika prvenstva nakon pojave Omikron varijante koronavirusa u Južnoj Africi.

"Izvršni odbor je zatražio hitan sastanak s FIFA-om kako bi se osigurale sve potrebne mjere opreza za zaštitu igrača budući da se zdravstvena situacija nastavlja pogoršavati na alarmantan način", navodi ECA, koja predstavlja preko 240 klubova.

Izvršni odbor ECA-e također, je rekao kako se jednoglasno protive prijedlogu FIFA-e za Svjetsko prvenstvo koje se održava svake dvije godine, dodajući da su planovi previdjeli potrebne zaštitne mjere i zaštitu za igrače.

ECA je pozvala i na modernizaciju pravila financijskog fair playa, rekavši da trenutna načela nisu u skladu sa "stvarnošću vremena".

Europsko udruženje nogometnih klubova (ECA) zatražilo je hitne razgovore s čelnicima Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) o sigurnosti igrača na predstojećem Afričkom kupu nacija.

Od 9. siječnja do 6. veljače iduće godine u Kamerunu će se održati afričko nogometno prvenstvo na kojem će nastupiti 24 reprezentacije, te brojni igrači iz europskih klubova.

U europskim klubovima su zabrinuti za sigurnost sudionika prvenstva nakon pojave Omikron varijante koronavirusa u Južnoj Africi.

"Izvršni odbor je zatražio hitan sastanak s FIFA-om kako bi se osigurale sve potrebne mjere opreza za zaštitu igrača budući da se zdravstvena situacija nastavlja pogoršavati na alarmantan način", navodi ECA, koja predstavlja preko 240 klubova.

Izvršni odbor ECA-e također, je rekao kako se jednoglasno protive prijedlogu FIFA-e za Svjetsko prvenstvo koje se održava svake dvije godine, dodajući da su planovi previdjeli potrebne zaštitne mjere i zaštitu za igrače.

ECA je pozvala i na modernizaciju pravila financijskog fair playa, rekavši da trenutna načela nisu u skladu sa "stvarnošću vremena".

Europsko udruženje nogometnih klubova (ECA) zatražilo je hitne razgovore s čelnicima Međunarodne nogometne federacije (FIFA) o sigurnosti igrača na predstojećem Afričkom kupu nacija.

Od 9. siječnja do 6. veljače iduće godine u Kamerunu će se održati afričko nogometno prvenstvo na kojem će nastupiti 24 reprezentacije, te brojni igrači iz europskih klubova.

U europskim klubovima su zabrinuti za sigurnost sudionika prvenstva nakon pojave Omikron varijante koronavirusa u Južnoj Africi.

"Izvršni odbor je zatražio hitan sastanak s FIFA-om kako bi se osigurale sve potrebne mjere opreza za zaštitu igrača budući da se zdravstvena situacija nastavlja pogoršavati na alarmantan način", navodi ECA, koja predstavlja preko 240 klubova.
