Hrvatske rukometašice izgubile su na Svjetskom prvenstvu od Japana s 26-28, nastupivši bez tri igračice iz srednje vanjske linije zaražene koronavirusom, čime su se plasirale u drugu fazu natjecanja, ali s minimalnim izgledima za četvrtfinale.
"Nažalost i ovako nas je bilo malo, na kraju ne znam što bih rekla... žao mi je. Mislim da smo dale sve od sebe ali očito je za jednu postavu, a mislim da nas je sedam igralo, bilo preteško 60 minuta igrati protiv Japana", izjavila je kružna napadačica Ana Debelić sa zabijena četiri pogotka.
Kapetanica Katarina Ježić, koja je također četiri puta zatresla mrežu, rekla je kako su se "borile od prve do zadnje minute".
"Ponekad to nije izgledalo najbolje. Danas nam je bio jako dugačak dan. Cijeli dan smo provele u hotelu, bilo je teško pojaviti se tu i odigrati ovakvu utakmicu. Ponosna sam na sve nas jer nije bilo lagano", dodala je.
Nakon što je prije nekoliko dana koronavirus otkriven kod pet igračica Austrije, Svjetska rukometna federacija (IHF) je naložila od 5. prosinca obvezna testiranja momčadi uoči utakmica.
Hrvatske igračice su se u ponedjeljak u 9.30 sati testirale u Castellónu gdje borave od 30. studenog. Nakon što je rezultat brzog antigenskog testa pokazao da su Ćamila Mičijević, Ivana Dežić i Dora Krsnik pozitivne napravljen je vjerodostojniji PCR test. Rezultat je došao oko 18.30 sati.
"Od testiranja ujutro pa do saznanja da četiri igračice moraju biti u karanteni pa do PCR-a... Nisu nam dozvolili da idemo na trening pa smo onda čekali sve do 19 sati, kada smo već trebali biti na putu prema dvorani, a još nismo znali niti koje igračice će moći igrati te u kojem ćemo sastavu nastupiti", rekao je izbornik Nenad Šoštarić.
Prvo je potvrđeno da Mičijević i Dežić ne smiju nastupiti zbog infekcije a onda je Hrvatska ostala i bez srednje vanjske igračice Dore Krsnik čiji je rezultat PCR testa pokazao kako se nalazi na graničnoj vrijednosti.
"Na kraju su ostale cure dale sve od sebe, odigrale odličnih 50 minuta, pa onda u zadnjih 10 minuta promašile previše zicera uz previše učinjenih grešaka", rekao je Šoštarić.
"Žao mi je i tužan sam jer mislim da Japanke nisu dobile utakmicu nego smo ju mi izgubile", naglasio je.
Hrvatske rukometašice će u utorak otputovati iz Casetellóna u 300 kilometara udaljeni grad Torrevieju. Ondje će igrati protiv Argentine, Španjolske i Austrije.
Zasad je nepoznato koliko će tri zaražene igračice morati mirovati.
"Sve igračice i članovi stožera su cijepljeni te smo svi bili negativni na koronavirus uoči dolaska u Španjolsku", rekao je glasnogovornik Hrvatskog rukometnog saveza.
S obzirom da je izgubila od Japana i Brazila koji su također izborili prolazak, i koji će se spojiti s tom novom grupom, Hrvatska ondje odlazi bez osvojenog boda. Dvije momčadi će izboriti četvrtfinale.
Upravo je u Torrevieji prije nekoliko dana detektiran koronavirus kod pet igračica Austrije.
"Zasad smo imali samo sedam pozitivnih slučajeva koronavirusa na ovom prvenstvu, što je pokazatelj kako je odluka IHF da dopusti sudjelovanje cijepljenim osobama bila ispravna", izvijestio je IHF.
"Pa ipak, od 5. studenog, su IHF i Španjolski rukometni savez odlučili da reprezentacije naprave brzi antigenski test ujutro prije utakmica", dodao je u priopćenju.

Hrvatske rukometašice izgubile su na Svjetskom prvenstvu od Japana s 26-28, nastupivši bez tri igračice iz srednje vanjske linije zaražene koronavirusom, čime su se plasirale u drugu fazu natjecanja, ali s minimalnim izgledima za četvrtfinale.
"Nažalost i ovako nas je bilo malo, na kraju ne znam što bih rekla... žao mi je. Mislim da smo dale sve od sebe ali očito je za jednu postavu, a mislim da nas je sedam igralo, bilo preteško 60 minuta igrati protiv Japana", izjavila je kružna napadačica Ana Debelić sa zabijena četiri pogotka.
Kapetanica Katarina Ježić, koja je također četiri puta zatresla mrežu, rekla je kako su se "borile od prve do zadnje minute".
"Ponekad to nije izgledalo najbolje. Danas nam je bio jako dugačak dan. Cijeli dan smo provele u hotelu, bilo je teško pojaviti se tu i odigrati ovakvu utakmicu. Ponosna sam na sve nas jer nije bilo lagano", dodala je.
Nakon što je prije nekoliko dana koronavirus otkriven kod pet igračica Austrije, Svjetska rukometna federacija (IHF) je naložila od 5. prosinca obvezna testiranja momčadi uoči utakmica.
Hrvatske igračice su se u ponedjeljak u 9.30 sati testirale u Castellónu gdje borave od 30. studenog. Nakon što je rezultat brzog antigenskog testa pokazao da su Ćamila Mičijević, Ivana Dežić i Dora Krsnik pozitivne napravljen je vjerodostojniji PCR test. Rezultat je došao oko 18.30 sati.
"Od testiranja ujutro pa do saznanja da četiri igračice moraju biti u karanteni pa do PCR-a... Nisu nam dozvolili da idemo na trening pa smo onda čekali sve do 19 sati, kada smo već trebali biti na putu prema dvorani, a još nismo znali niti koje igračice će moći igrati te u kojem ćemo sastavu nastupiti", rekao je izbornik Nenad Šoštarić.
Prvo je potvrđeno da Mičijević i Dežić ne smiju nastupiti zbog infekcije a onda je Hrvatska ostala i bez srednje vanjske igračice Dore Krsnik čiji je rezultat PCR testa pokazao kako se nalazi na graničnoj vrijednosti.
"Na kraju su ostale cure dale sve od sebe, odigrale odličnih 50 minuta, pa onda u zadnjih 10 minuta promašile previše zicera uz previše učinjenih grešaka", rekao je Šoštarić.
"Žao mi je i tužan sam jer mislim da Japanke nisu dobile utakmicu nego smo ju mi izgubile", naglasio je.
Hrvatske rukometašice će u utorak otputovati iz Casetellóna u 300 kilometara udaljeni grad Torrevieju. Ondje će igrati protiv Argentine, Španjolske i Austrije.
Zasad je nepoznato koliko će tri zaražene igračice morati mirovati.
"Sve igračice i članovi stožera su cijepljeni te smo svi bili negativni na koronavirus uoči dolaska u Španjolsku", rekao je glasnogovornik Hrvatskog rukometnog saveza.
S obzirom da je izgubila od Japana i Brazila koji su također izborili prolazak, i koji će se spojiti s tom novom grupom, Hrvatska ondje odlazi bez osvojenog boda. Dvije momčadi će izboriti četvrtfinale.
Upravo je u Torrevieji prije nekoliko dana detektiran koronavirus kod pet igračica Austrije.
"Zasad smo imali samo sedam pozitivnih slučajeva koronavirusa na ovom prvenstvu, što je pokazatelj kako je odluka IHF da dopusti sudjelovanje cijepljenim osobama bila ispravna", izvijestio je IHF.
"Pa ipak, od 5. studenog, su IHF i Španjolski rukometni savez odlučili da reprezentacije naprave brzi antigenski test ujutro prije utakmica", dodao je u priopćenju.
