Uoči prve utakmice hrvatske muške seniorske reprezentacije na olimpijskom kvalifikacijskom turniru u Hannoveru, izbornik Dagur Sigurdsson objavio je popis 18 igrača za tri utakmice koje će Hrvatska igrati od 14. - 17. ožujka 2024. godine. 

S popisa od 21 igrača koji su u Njemačkoj, na tribinama će biti vratar Kristian Pilipović, pivot Nikola Grahovac i srednji vanjski Filip Vistorop. Hrvatski rukometaši će kvalifikacije otvoriti s Austrijom večeras, a onda je još čekaju utakmice protiv Njemačke i Alžira. 

Reprezentativac Zvonimir Srna ističe kako on i njegovi suigrači željno iščekuju tu prvu utakmicu.

"Sakupili smo se ima četiri-pet dana, naporno smo trenirali s novim trenerom, ubacili smo neke nove stvari i svi željno iščekujemo da vidimo kao će to izgledati i da pobijedimo tu prvu utakmicu koja nam donosi dosta", kazao je Srna. 

Iako su pripreme bile kratke, Srna je uvjeren da Hrvatska može pobijediti.

"Ja sam uvjeren da smo spremni i da ćemo dati sve od sebe i svi, od prvog do zadnjeg, baciti se na glavu da izborimo Olimpijske igre", dodao je, osvrnuvši se kratko na suparnika.

"S njima smo igrali na prošlom prvenstvu, neki govore da smo ih podcijenili, međutim ja mislim da nismo. Dobro smo otvorili utakmicu, ali to je momčad koja ima sedam-osam odličnih igrača. To je dosta čvrsta i iskusna momčad i neće nam biti lako s njima", kazao je Srna.

Pritom je dodao kako je suradnja s novim trenerom za sada dosta dobra.

"On voli naše igrače, trenirao ih je u Berlinu. Dosta smo mu zanimljivi i on nama. On je sigurno veliki stručnjak i znalac, što pokazuju rezultati koje stoje iza njega i ja mislim da ćemo ‘kliknuti‘. Tražio je da mu na WhatsApp pošaljemo naše nadimke da se što brže adaptira i mi to još više cijenimo", opisao je Srna kako je izgledalo ovih nekoliko dana priprema s islandskim trenerom.

Izbornik Sigurdsson će dva sata prije početka utakmice s popisa od 18 igrača odabrati 16 igrača koji će biti u zapisniku za večerašnju utakmicu.

Uoči prve utakmice hrvatske muške seniorske reprezentacije na olimpijskom kvalifikacijskom turniru u Hannoveru, izbornik Dagur Sigurdsson objavio je popis 18 igrača za tri utakmice koje će Hrvatska igrati od 14. - 17. ožujka 2024. godine. 

S popisa od 21 igrača koji su u Njemačkoj, na tribinama će biti vratar Kristian Pilipović, pivot Nikola Grahovac i srednji vanjski Filip Vistorop. Hrvatski rukometaši će kvalifikacije otvoriti s Austrijom večeras, a onda je još čekaju utakmice protiv Njemačke i Alžira. 

Reprezentativac Zvonimir Srna ističe kako on i njegovi suigrači željno iščekuju tu prvu utakmicu.

"Sakupili smo se ima četiri-pet dana, naporno smo trenirali s novim trenerom, ubacili smo neke nove stvari i svi željno iščekujemo da vidimo kao će to izgledati i da pobijedimo tu prvu utakmicu koja nam donosi dosta", kazao je Srna. 

Iako su pripreme bile kratke, Srna je uvjeren da Hrvatska može pobijediti.

"Ja sam uvjeren da smo spremni i da ćemo dati sve od sebe i svi, od prvog do zadnjeg, baciti se na glavu da izborimo Olimpijske igre", dodao je, osvrnuvši se kratko na suparnika.

"S njima smo igrali na prošlom prvenstvu, neki govore da smo ih podcijenili, međutim ja mislim da nismo. Dobro smo otvorili utakmicu, ali to je momčad koja ima sedam-osam odličnih igrača. To je dosta čvrsta i iskusna momčad i neće nam biti lako s njima", kazao je Srna.

Pritom je dodao kako je suradnja s novim trenerom za sada dosta dobra.

"On voli naše igrače, trenirao ih je u Berlinu. Dosta smo mu zanimljivi i on nama. On je sigurno veliki stručnjak i znalac, što pokazuju rezultati koje stoje iza njega i ja mislim da ćemo ‘kliknuti‘. Tražio je da mu na WhatsApp pošaljemo naše nadimke da se što brže adaptira i mi to još više cijenimo", opisao je Srna kako je izgledalo ovih nekoliko dana priprema s islandskim trenerom.

Izbornik Sigurdsson će dva sata prije početka utakmice s popisa od 18 igrača odabrati 16 igrača koji će biti u zapisniku za večerašnju utakmicu.
