Španjolac Jon Rahm je pobjedom na "Memorial Tournamentu" održanom prošloga vikenda na terenima Muirfield Village Golf Cluba u Ohiju preuzeo prvo mjesto na službenoj ljestvici najboljih golfera svijeta preskočivši Roryja McIlroya iz Sjeverne Irske na toj poziciji.

Rahm je tako postao tek drugi Španjolac u povijesti na vrh ljestvice najboljih golfera svijeta, prije njega to je uspjelo tek Severinu Ballesterosu.

Do pobjede u nedjelju Rahm je stigao usprkos lošoj izvedbi posljednjeg dana turnira kada je ostvario rezultat od tri udarca iznad standarda igrališta, ali je imao dovoljnu prednost nakon prva tri dana da na kraju slavi s tri udarca prednosti ispred drugoplasiranog Amerikanca Ryana Palmera, odnosno četiri ispred trećeg Engleza Matthewa Fitzpatricka.

Za 25-godišnjeg Rahma je trijumf u Ohiju četvrti osvojeni PGA turnir u karijeri. 

Na novoj ljestvici najboljih golfera svijeta Rahm ima prosjek od 9.10 bodova, McIlroy je drugi sa 8.48, dok je na trećoj poziciji Amerikanac Justin Thomas sa 7.51 bodova.

Španjolac Jon Rahm je pobjedom na "Memorial Tournamentu" održanom prošloga vikenda na terenima Muirfield Village Golf Cluba u Ohiju preuzeo prvo mjesto na službenoj ljestvici najboljih golfera svijeta preskočivši Roryja McIlroya iz Sjeverne Irske na toj poziciji.

Rahm je tako postao tek drugi Španjolac u povijesti na vrh ljestvice najboljih golfera svijeta, prije njega to je uspjelo tek Severinu Ballesterosu.

Do pobjede u nedjelju Rahm je stigao usprkos lošoj izvedbi posljednjeg dana turnira kada je ostvario rezultat od tri udarca iznad standarda igrališta, ali je imao dovoljnu prednost nakon prva tri dana da na kraju slavi s tri udarca prednosti ispred drugoplasiranog Amerikanca Ryana Palmera, odnosno četiri ispred trećeg Engleza Matthewa Fitzpatricka.

Za 25-godišnjeg Rahma je trijumf u Ohiju četvrti osvojeni PGA turnir u karijeri. 

Na novoj ljestvici najboljih golfera svijeta Rahm ima prosjek od 9.10 bodova, McIlroy je drugi sa 8.48, dok je na trećoj poziciji Amerikanac Justin Thomas sa 7.51 bodova.

Španjolac Jon Rahm je pobjedom na "Memorial Tournamentu" održanom prošloga vikenda na terenima Muirfield Village Golf Cluba u Ohiju preuzeo prvo mjesto na službenoj ljestvici najboljih golfera svijeta preskočivši Roryja McIlroya iz Sjeverne Irske na toj poziciji.

Rahm je tako postao tek drugi Španjolac u povijesti na vrh ljestvice najboljih golfera svijeta, prije njega to je uspjelo tek Severinu Ballesterosu.

Do pobjede u nedjelju Rahm je stigao usprkos lošoj izvedbi posljednjeg dana turnira kada je ostvario rezultat od tri udarca iznad standarda igrališta, ali je imao dovoljnu prednost nakon prva tri dana da na kraju slavi s tri udarca prednosti ispred drugoplasiranog Amerikanca Ryana Palmera, odnosno četiri ispred trećeg Engleza Matthewa Fitzpatricka.
