Muška košarkaška reprezentacija Hrvatske ubrzo se nakon pobjede u Poljskoj vratila treninzima u Opatiji kako bi što spremnija dočekala nove službene utakmice.

U nedjelju s početkom u 20 sati, u Sportskoj dvorani "Marino Cvetković" u Opatiji igra se i druga pretkvalifikacijska utakmica za Europsko prvenstvo 2025, protivnik je Švicarska, a izbornik Damir Mulaomerović i reprezentativac Toni Perković najavili su utakmicu.

"Roster je isti, mi smo i ranije odredili 12 igrača za obje pretkvalifikacijske utakmice i EuroBasket kako bi što bolje uigrali ekipu", započeo je izbornik. "Prvi dio, Poljsku, smo odradili na najbolji mogući način - pobjedom. Očekuje nas utakmica protiv Švicarske koja je pobijedila Austriju i smatram da je sutrašnja utakmica jako bitna, prije svega u energetskom pristupu kojeg ćemo prikazati. Ako netko misli da je Švicarska loša ekipa - svjesni smo da takvih danas više nema. No, ako smo pravi, kao što smo bili u drugom poluvremenu protiv Poljske, naravno da smo kvalitetnija ekipa i trebamo to sutra pokazati. Apelirao sam na igrače da nema opuštanja, ovo je posljednja utakmica pred Europsko prvenstvo. Najvažniji su angažiranost, ozbiljnost i maksimalan pristup pred utakmicu", kazao je Mulaomerović.

Izbornik je još jednom izrazio zadovoljstvo gradom u kojem je reprezentacija odradila čitave pripreme: "Drago mi je što ćemo igrati u Opatiji i ovim se putem želim i zahvaliti svim ljudima koji su nam pružili sjajno gostoprimstvo, ovdje u Opatiji i u Rijeci ranije. Imali smo zaista dobre uvjete i smatram da smo se jako dobro spremili za ono što nas čeka."

Posljednja je ovo domaća utakmica u ljetnom ciklusu priprema, koliko je važna domaća podrška navijača Toniju Perkoviću?

"Naravno da nam je to vrlo važno. Igrali smo prije mjesec i po dana službenu utakmicu u Rijeci gdje je bila fantastična atmosfera. Nadam se da će nas navijači podržati i ovaj put jer je uz njih lakše igrati. Neopisiv je osjećaj igrati pred svojom domaćom publikom za svoju državu."

Kako Toni vidi Švicarsku?

"Sugurno je da je to jedna teška utakmica, ali sve je na nama jer smatram da ipak imamo kvalitetu više od njih. Samo to moramo pokazati na terenu."

Toni Perković je bio dio U20 reprezentacije koja je osvojila srebro na Europskom prvenstvu 2018. godine, no na velikom EuroBasketu je debitant. Je li spreman?

"Nadam se da jesam, da, to mi je prvo veliko natjecanje za seniorsku reprezentaciju. Uzbuđen sam, još realno nisam ni svjestan što me čeka, ali imam, po meni, najbolje moguće mentore - od Simona, do Bogdanovića, Šarića, Hezonje... koji će sigurno biti tu što god bude trebalo", zaključio je Toni.

Utakmica Hrvatska - Švicarska na rasporedu je u nedjelju u 20 sati.

Muška košarkaška reprezentacija Hrvatske ubrzo se nakon pobjede u Poljskoj vratila treninzima u Opatiji kako bi što spremnija dočekala nove službene utakmice.

U nedjelju s početkom u 20 sati, u Sportskoj dvorani "Marino Cvetković" u Opatiji igra se i druga pretkvalifikacijska utakmica za Europsko prvenstvo 2025, protivnik je Švicarska, a izbornik Damir Mulaomerović i reprezentativac Toni Perković najavili su utakmicu.

"Roster je isti, mi smo i ranije odredili 12 igrača za obje pretkvalifikacijske utakmice i EuroBasket kako bi što bolje uigrali ekipu", započeo je izbornik. "Prvi dio, Poljsku, smo odradili na najbolji mogući način - pobjedom. Očekuje nas utakmica protiv Švicarske koja je pobijedila Austriju i smatram da je sutrašnja utakmica jako bitna, prije svega u energetskom pristupu kojeg ćemo prikazati. Ako netko misli da je Švicarska loša ekipa - svjesni smo da takvih danas više nema. No, ako smo pravi, kao što smo bili u drugom poluvremenu protiv Poljske, naravno da smo kvalitetnija ekipa i trebamo to sutra pokazati. Apelirao sam na igrače da nema opuštanja, ovo je posljednja utakmica pred Europsko prvenstvo. Najvažniji su angažiranost, ozbiljnost i maksimalan pristup pred utakmicu", kazao je Mulaomerović.

Izbornik je još jednom izrazio zadovoljstvo gradom u kojem je reprezentacija odradila čitave pripreme: "Drago mi je što ćemo igrati u Opatiji i ovim se putem želim i zahvaliti svim ljudima koji su nam pružili sjajno gostoprimstvo, ovdje u Opatiji i u Rijeci ranije. Imali smo zaista dobre uvjete i smatram da smo se jako dobro spremili za ono što nas čeka."

Posljednja je ovo domaća utakmica u ljetnom ciklusu priprema, koliko je važna domaća podrška navijača Toniju Perkoviću?

"Naravno da nam je to vrlo važno. Igrali smo prije mjesec i po dana službenu utakmicu u Rijeci gdje je bila fantastična atmosfera. Nadam se da će nas navijači podržati i ovaj put jer je uz njih lakše igrati. Neopisiv je osjećaj igrati pred svojom domaćom publikom za svoju državu."

Kako Toni vidi Švicarsku?

"Sugurno je da je to jedna teška utakmica, ali sve je na nama jer smatram da ipak imamo kvalitetu više od njih. Samo to moramo pokazati na terenu."

Toni Perković je bio dio U20 reprezentacije koja je osvojila srebro na Europskom prvenstvu 2018. godine, no na velikom EuroBasketu je debitant. Je li spreman?

"Nadam se da jesam, da, to mi je prvo veliko natjecanje za seniorsku reprezentaciju. Uzbuđen sam, još realno nisam ni svjestan što me čeka, ali imam, po meni, najbolje moguće mentore - od Simona, do Bogdanovića, Šarića, Hezonje... koji će sigurno biti tu što god bude trebalo", zaključio je Toni.

Damir Mulaomerović: Švicarci nisu loša ekipa, sigurno je da je to jedna teška utakmica

Muška košarkaška reprezentacija Hrvatske ubrzo se nakon pobjede u Poljskoj vratila treninzima u Opatiji kako bi što spremnija dočekala nove službene utakmice.

U nedjelju s početkom u 20 sati, u Sportskoj dvorani "Marino Cvetković" u Opatiji igra se i druga pretkvalifikacijska utakmica za Europsko prvenstvo 2025, protivnik je Švicarska, a izbornik Damir Mulaomerović i reprezentativac Toni Perković najavili su utakmicu.

"Roster je isti, mi smo i ranije odredili 12 igrača za obje pretkvalifikacijske utakmice i EuroBasket kako bi što bolje uigrali ekipu", započeo je izbornik. "Prvi dio, Poljsku, smo odradili na najbolji mogući način - pobjedom. Očekuje nas utakmica protiv Švicarske koja je pobijedila Austriju i smatram da je sutrašnja utakmica jako bitna, prije svega u energetskom ...
