Košarkaši Detroit Pistonsa izjednačili su najduži niz poraza u povijesti NBA lige nakon što su u susretu protiv Boston Celtica nakon produžetaka izgubili sa 122-128 upisavši već 28. poraz u nizu.

Pistonsi, u čijim redovima igra hrvatski košarkaš Bojan Bogdanović, su prije dva dana porazom od Brooklyna (112-118), 27. u nizu, postavili negativan rekord po broju uzastopnih poraza unutar jedne sezone. U dvoboju protiv Bostona otišli su korak dalje.

Bio je to 28. uzastopni poraz čime su izjednačili učinak Philadelphije koja je tijekom 2015. godine upisala 28 poraza, ali kroz dvije sezone.

"Kada pogledate rekorde, pomislite na trenere, ali siguran sam da igrači ne žele da se to veže uz ime na dresu," kazao je trener Detroita Monty Williams.

"U ligi sam već neko vrijeme i vidio sam momčadi kako se predaju u okolnostima koje su manje od onoga s čime se mi suočavamo. Boli me zbog njih, osjećamo se kao da smo se približili ne samo pobjedi u jednoj utakmici, već pobjedama u puno utakmica, ako ćemo igrati na ovaj način," dodao je.

Nakon što je koncem prvog poluvremena vodio sa 21 razlike (64-43), a na koncu poluvremena sa čak 19 razlike (66-47) činilo se kako će Detroit napokon prekinuti crnu seriju. Međutim, domaćin je u trećoj dionici slavio sa 35-16, vrativši susret u egal. Boston je u završnici utakmice poveo sa +6 (106-100), no Detroit je izjednačio. Osam sekundi prije kraja Jayson Tatum je doveo Boston u novu prednost, no četiri sekunde prije kraja izjednačio je Bojan Bogdanović nakon što je Cade Cunningham promašio tricu za pobjedu. Srećom, Bogdanović je "pokupio" odbijanac i zabio za 108-108.

U produžetku se Boston odvojio na osam razlike (125-117), gosti su smanjili na 126-122, no više od toga nije išlo. Do kraja susreta domaćin je zabio još dva koša za konačnih 128-122. 

Ipak, Williams je pohvalio trud svoje momčadi.

"Rekao sam dečkima da je potrebno mnogo karaktera i integriteta da rade ono što rade. Uz sve kroz što je ovaj tim prošao... svaki dan u teretanu unose duh, integritet i snagu. Čuju sve što ljudi imaju za reći o njima i nama jer su na društvenim mrežama. To ih ne koleba da rade svoj posao, ali i da igraju na razini i standardu o kojem mi pričamo svaki dan," poručio je Williams.

Boston, koji ima najbolji skor lige (24-6), su do pobjede predvodili Kristaps Porzingis sa 35 koševa i osam skokova, te Jayson Tatum sa 31 košem, 10 asistencija, sedam skokova i pet ukradenih lopti. Odličan je bio i Derrick White sa 23 koša i pet asistencija. Na poraženoj strani najefikasniji je bio Cunningham sa 31 košem, devet asistencija i šest skokova, te Jaden Ivey sa 22 koša i 10 skokova. Bogdanović je za 44 minute ubacio 17 koševa uz šut 8-21 iz igre, te 1-7 za tri poena. Dodao je i 12 skokova i šest asistencija.

Detroit za dva dana kod kuće dočekuje Toronto. Pistonsi trebaju pobjedu kako bi izbjegli rekordni 29. uzastopni poraz i titulu vlasnika najgoreg niza u povijesti NBA lige.

Sa sadašnjih 2-29 Pistonsi također, se nalaze u opasnosti da zabilježe jednu od najgorih sezona u povijesti lige. Sixersi (1972-73) posjeduju rekord za najviše poraza (73), Providence Steam Rollers (1947-48) drže rekord za najmanje pobjeda (6), a Charlotte Bobcats (2011-12) posjeduju rekord za najgori postotak pobjeda (0,106).

Košarkaši Detroit Pistonsa izjednačili su najduži niz poraza u povijesti NBA lige nakon što su u susretu protiv Boston Celtica nakon produžetaka izgubili sa 122-128 upisavši već 28. poraz u nizu.

Pistonsi, u čijim redovima igra hrvatski košarkaš Bojan Bogdanović, su prije dva dana porazom od Brooklyna (112-118), 27. u nizu, postavili negativan rekord po broju uzastopnih poraza unutar jedne sezone. U dvoboju protiv Bostona otišli su korak dalje.

Bio je to 28. uzastopni poraz čime su izjednačili učinak Philadelphije koja je tijekom 2015. godine upisala 28 poraza, ali kroz dvije sezone.

"Kada pogledate rekorde, pomislite na trenere, ali siguran sam da igrači ne žele da se to veže uz ime na dresu," kazao je trener Detroita Monty Williams.

"U ligi sam već neko vrijeme i vidio sam momčadi kako se predaju u okolnostima koje su manje od onoga s čime se mi suočavamo. Boli me zbog njih, osjećamo se kao da smo se približili ne samo pobjedi u jednoj utakmici, već pobjedama u puno utakmica, ako ćemo igrati na ovaj način," dodao je.

Nakon što je koncem prvog poluvremena vodio sa 21 razlike (64-43), a na koncu poluvremena sa čak 19 razlike (66-47) činilo se kako će Detroit napokon prekinuti crnu seriju. Međutim, domaćin je u trećoj dionici slavio sa 35-16, vrativši susret u egal. Boston je u završnici utakmice poveo sa +6 (106-100), no Detroit je izjednačio. Osam sekundi prije kraja Jayson Tatum je doveo Boston u novu prednost, no četiri sekunde prije kraja izjednačio je Bojan Bogdanović nakon što je Cade Cunningham promašio tricu za pobjedu. Srećom, Bogdanović je "pokupio" odbijanac i zabio za 108-108.

U produžetku se Boston odvojio na osam razlike (125-117), gosti su smanjili na 126-122, no više od toga nije išlo. Do kraja susreta domaćin je zabio još dva koša za konačnih 128-122. 

Ipak, Williams je pohvalio trud svoje momčadi.

Bogdanović je za 44 minute ubacio 17 koševa uz šut 8-21 iz igre, te 1-7 za tri poena. Dodao je i 12 skokova i šest asistencija.

Bogdanovićevi Pistonsi došli do nevjerojatnog broja uzastopnih poraza i izjednačili neslavni rekord

Košarkaši Detroit Pistonsa izjednačili su najduži niz poraza u povijesti NBA lige nakon što su u susretu protiv Boston Celtica nakon produžetaka izgubili sa 122-128 upisavši već 28. poraz u nizu.

Pistonsi, u čijim redovima igra hrvatski košarkaš Bojan Bogdanović, su prije dva dana porazom od Brooklyna (112-118), 27. u nizu, postavili negativan rekord po broju uzastopnih poraza unutar jedne sezone. U dvoboju protiv Bostona otišli su korak dalje.

Bio je to 28. uzastopni poraz čime su izjednačili učinak Philadelphije koja je tijekom 2015. godine upisala 28 poraza, ali kroz dvije sezone.

"Kada pogledate rekorde, pomislite na trenere, ali siguran sam da igrači ne žele da se to veže uz ime na dresu," kazao je trener Detroita Monty Williams.

"U ligi sam već neko vrijeme i vidio sam momčadi kako se predaju u okolnostima koje su manje od onoga s čime se mi suočavamo. Boli me zbog njih, osjećamo se kao da smo se približili ne samo pobjedi u jednoj utakmici, već pobjedama u puno utakmica, ako ćemo igrati na ovaj način," dodao je.

Nakon što je koncem prvog poluvremena vodio sa 21 razlike (64-43), a na koncu poluvremena sa čak 19 razlike (66-47) činilo se kako će Detroit napokon prekinuti crnu seriju.
