Drugu sezonu u nizu prvaci Slovenije nisu glavni favoriti Olimpija i Maribor. Lani je slavu pobralo Celje, a ovaj put - Mura! U samo devet godina klub iz Murske Sobote prevalio je put od četvrtog do prvog ranga slovenskog nogometa, lani je osvojio Kup, a sada i onaj najprestižniji trofej. Sve to s jakim hrvatskim pečatom.

Nakon što je Olimpija užasnom svibanjskom formom ispala iz utrke za naslov, u igri su ostali Mura i Maribor. Sudbina je htjela da u zadnjem kolu Mura gostuje baš kod Maribora - s bivšim trenerom Rijeke Simonom Rožmanom na klupi - kojemu je i bod bio dovoljan za naslov. No, Mura mu je pokvarila slavlje neočekivanom pobjedom 3:1. Oba sastava imala su isti broj bodova, ali je Mura međusobno bolja.

Taj je podvig oslobodio snažne emocije u Murskoj Soboti. Ne samo zato što je to bio prvi klupski naslov prvaka države, već i zato što je njihovu golmanu Matku Obradoviću na dan utakmice preminuo djed. Tridesetogodišnjak iz Orebića na Pelješcu proživio je pravi vrtuljak emocija.

- Djed je bio bolestan već neko vrijeme, ali čuli smo se u petak i bio je uzbuđen zbog utakmice s Mariborom. U subotu su mi javili da je umro... To me pogodilo jer smo bili baš povezani, ali nije bilo govora da neću zaigrati. Dapače, htio sam igrati za njega. Uvijek me pratio i navijao za mene. Znam da bi bio ponosan na mene. Uspio sam iskontrolirati emocije i "naštimati" glavu za utakmicu. Ispalo je super, ostvarili smo povijesni rezultat - javio nam se Matko baš iz Orebića gdje je jučer bio sprovod njegova voljenog djeda.

Obradović je jedan od najzaslužnijih što je Mura u 36 ligaških utakmica primila samo 26 golova. Na tom je putu skupio čak 16 "clean sheetova"! Nije čudo što je već treći put proglašen najboljim vratarom lige.

- Imao sam još dvije prazne mreže u Europi, a moj kolega Zalokar još jednu, to je 19 u sezoni, što nam je rekord. Obrana je bila sjajna - kaže Obradović koji je kao tinejdžer bio na probi u Hajduku, a ime je stvorio braneći za Jadran LP i Mosor prije nego što se otisnuo za Sloveniju gdje je sada već cijelo desetljeće. Branio je za Koper, Krku i Maribor, a od 2018. član je Mure.

I dok je Murino osvajanje titule mnogima iznenađujuće, Obradović otkriva da se potajno nadao baš takvom scenariju.

- Lani smo osvojili Kup, pa su nas svi gledali drukčije. Znao sam da smo jaki i nadali smo se nečemu velikom, ali nismo o tome naglas pričali. Olimpija je sedam kola prije

kraja imala 12 bodova više od nas pa smo je razbili 3:0, a onda i pobijedimo Maribor usred Ljudskog vrta. To mogu samo velike momčadi.

Da stvar po Maribor bude bolnija, trener Mure je njegova igračka i trenerska legenda Ante Šimundža. On je dobro poznat i nama budući da mu je otac iz Biskog i da je prije šest godina odbio poziv Hajduka. Bilo je to kad je briljirao na klupi Maribora s kojim je dvaput bio prvak Slovenije i igrao skupinu Lige prvaka.

Novi je izazov Šimundža pronašao u Murskoj Soboti gdje je Muru 05 vodio u dva navrata. Taj je klub 2013. bankrotirao, pa je središnja nogometna figura u gradu postala Nogometna škola Mura osnovana godinu ranije. Seniorski tim krenuo je iz najniže, četvrte lige, Šimundža ih je preuzeo 2017. i godinu dana potom iz druge lige uveo u prvu, no malo je tko mislio da će i s manjim klubom osvojiti Sloveniju. No, pokazao je da je majstor, iako mu momčad po Transfermarktu vrijedi tek 6,2 milijuna eura, što je manje od bilo koje momčadi HNL-a.

- Mi smo po sredini slovenske lige što se proračuna tiče, ali imamo karakterne igrače od kojih su mnogi domaći momci kojima je baš stalo do kluba i igraju srcem. Prije šest godina tri privatna ulagača preuzela su klub u suradnji s općinom, obećali su da će vratiti klub na mapu i uspjeli su u tome - objašnjava Obradović, jedan od nekolicine Hrvata u Muri (Luka Bobičanec, Andrija Filipović, Mihael Klepač, Dragan Lovrić, Marin Karamarko, David Đurak).

Razdragani navijači dočekali su svoje junake na njihovu stadionu Fazanerija.

- Skupilo ih se par tisuća. Naši su navijači najfanatičniji u Sloveniji. Često nas prate na gostovanjima i stalno osjećamo njihovu potporu.

Ljeto donosi nove izazove. S jedne strane treba zadržati što je više moguće igrača, a s druge se ide u napad na skupinu Lige prvaka.

- Nadam se da će kostur momčadi ostati isti. U Ligu prvaka bit će teško ući, ali već smo igrali Europu, imamo neko iskustvo i borit ćemo se - poručuje Obradović, inače ljubitelj tetovaža. Jednu će, otkriva nam, posvetiti i ovoj, po mnogo čemu posebnoj tituli.

Drugu sezonu u nizu prvaci Slovenije nisu glavni favoriti Olimpija i Maribor. Lani je slavu pobralo Celje, a ovaj put - Mura! U samo devet godina klub iz Murske Sobote prevalio je put od četvrtog do prvog ranga slovenskog nogometa, lani je osvojio Kup, a sada i onaj najprestižniji trofej. Sve to s jakim hrvatskim pečatom.

Nakon što je Olimpija užasnom svibanjskom formom ispala iz utrke za naslov, u igri su ostali Mura i Maribor. Sudbina je htjela da u zadnjem kolu Mura gostuje baš kod Maribora - s bivšim trenerom Rijeke Simonom Rožmanom na klupi - kojemu je i bod bio dovoljan za naslov. No, Mura mu je pokvarila slavlje neočekivanom pobjedom 3:1. Oba sastava imala su isti broj bodova, ali je Mura međusobno bolja.

Taj je podvig oslobodio snažne emocije u Murskoj Soboti. Ne samo zato što je to bio prvi klupski naslov prvaka države, već i zato što je njihovu golmanu Matku Obradoviću na dan utakmice preminuo djed. Tridesetogodišnjak iz Orebića na Pelješcu proživio je pravi vrtuljak emocija.

- Djed je bio bolestan već neko vrijeme, ali čuli smo se u petak i bio je uzbuđen zbog utakmice s Mariborom. U subotu su mi javili da je umro... To me pogodilo jer smo bili baš povezani, ali nije bilo govora da neću zaigrati. Dapače, htio sam igrati za njega. Uvijek me pratio i navijao za mene. Znam da bi bio ponosan na mene. Uspio sam iskontrolirati emocije i "naštimati" glavu za utakmicu. Ispalo je super, ostvarili smo povijesni rezultat - javio nam se Matko baš iz Orebića gdje je jučer bio sprovod njegova voljenog djeda.

Obradović je jedan od najzaslužnijih što je Mura u 36 ligaških utakmica primila samo 26 golova. Na tom je putu skupio čak 16 "clean sheetova"! Nije čudo što je već treći put proglašen najboljim vratarom lige.

- Imao sam još dvije prazne mreže u Europi, a moj kolega Zalokar još jednu, to je 19 u sezoni, što nam je rekord. Obrana je bila sjajna - kaže Obradović koji je kao tinejdžer bio na probi u Hajduku, a ime je stvorio braneći za Jadran LP i Mosor prije nego što se otisnuo za Sloveniju gdje je sada već cijelo desetljeće. Branio je za Koper, Krku i Maribor, a od 2018. član je Mure.

I dok je Murino osvajanje titule mnogima iznenađujuće, Obradović otkriva da se potajno nadao baš takvom scenariju.

- Lani smo osvojili Kup, pa su nas svi gledali drukčije. Znao sam da smo jaki i nadali smo se nečemu velikom, ali nismo o tome naglas pričali. Olimpija je sedam kola prije

kraja imala 12 bodova više od nas pa smo je razbili 3:0, a onda i pobijedimo Maribor usred Ljudskog vrta. To mogu samo velike momčadi.

Da stvar po Maribor bude bolnija, trener Mure je njegova igračka i trenerska legenda Ante Šimundža. On je dobro poznat i nama budući da mu je otac iz Biskog i da je prije šest godina odbio poziv Hajduka. Bilo je to kad je briljirao na klupi Maribora s kojim je dvaput bio prvak Slovenije i igrao skupinu Lige prvaka.

Novi je izazov Šimundža pronašao u Murskoj Soboti gdje je Muru 05 vodio u dva navrata. Taj je klub 2013. bankrotirao, pa je središnja nogometna figura u gradu postala Nogometna škola Mura osnovana godinu ranije. Seniorski tim krenuo je iz najniže, četvrte lige, Šimundža ih je preuzeo 2017. i godinu dana potom iz druge lige uveo u prvu, no malo je tko mislio da će i s manjim klubom osvojiti Sloveniju. No, pokazao je da je majstor, iako mu momčad po Transfermarktu vrijedi tek 6,2 milijuna eura, što je manje od bilo koje momčadi HNL-a.

- Mi smo po sredini slovenske lige što se proračuna tiče, ali imamo karakterne igrače od kojih su mnogi domaći momci kojima je baš stalo do kluba i igraju srcem. Prije šest godina tri privatna ulagača preuzela su klub u suradnji s općinom, obećali su da će vratiti klub na mapu i uspjeli su u tome - objašnjava Obradović, jedan od nekolicine Hrvata u Muri (Luka Bobičanec, Andrija Filipović, Mihael Klepač, Dragan Lovrić, Marin Karamarko, David Đurak).

Razdragani navijači dočekali su svoje junake na njihovu stadionu Fazanerija.

- Skupilo ih se par tisuća. Naši su navijači najfanatičniji u Sloveniji. Često nas prate na gostovanjima i stalno osjećamo njihovu potporu.

Ljeto donosi nove izazove. S jedne strane treba zadržati što je više moguće igrača, a s druge se ide u napad na skupinu Lige prvaka.

- Nadam se da će kostur momčadi ostati isti. U Ligu prvaka bit će teško ući, ali već smo igrali Europu, imamo neko iskustvo i borit ćemo se - poručuje Obradović, inače ljubitelj tetovaža. Jednu će, otkriva nam, posvetiti i ovoj, po mnogo čemu posebnoj tituli.

Drugu sezonu u nizu prvaci Slovenije nisu glavni favoriti Olimpija i Maribor. Lani je slavu pobralo Celje, a ovaj put - Mura! U samo devet godina klub iz Murske Sobote prevalio je put od četvrtog do prvog ranga slovenskog nogometa, lani je osvojio Kup, a sada i onaj najprestižniji trofej. Sve to s jakim hrvatskim pečatom.

Nakon što je Olimpija užasnom svibanjskom formom ispala iz utrke za naslov, u igri su ostali Mura i Maribor. Sudbina je htjela da u zadnjem kolu Mura gostuje baš kod Maribora - s bivšim trenerom Rijeke Simonom Rožmanom na klupi - kojemu je i bod bio dovoljan za naslov. No, Mura mu je pokvarila slavlje neočekivanom pobjedom 3:1. Oba sastava imala su isti broj bodova, ali je Mura međusobno bolja.
