Drugu medalju za Hrvatsku na ovogodišnjem Grand Prixu Zagreb donio je Splićanin Marko Kumrić (do 100 kg) osvojivši broncu protiv vlasnika olimpijskog srebra iz Londona 2012, Asleya Gonzaleza. 

Hrvatski judo je na domaćem tatamiju upisao dvije brončane medalje. Nakon uspjeha juniorke Ane Viktorije Puljiz (do 52 kg), drugu je osvojio Marko Kumrić (do 100 kg), zlatni s nedavno održanog European Opena u Sarajevu. 

Mlađi brat Kumrić, u prvom kolu pobijedio je Ukrajinca Vehera, svladavši ga za samo 27 sekundi. Catharina iz Nizozemske bio je ovog puta prevelika prepreka, ali se na pobjednički kolosijek vraća protiv Švicarca Eicha tehnikom držanja. 

Finalni blok i borba za treće mjesto pravi su ambijent za Kumrića, kako je objasnio trener Tomislav Marijanović jer “uvijek voli svjetla pozornice”. Za protivnika je imao protiv Kubanca Asleya Gonzaleza, koji sada nastupa pod rumunjskom zastavom. U napetoj borbi do samoga kraja, Marko je uspio zadržati prednost i po prvi puta popesti se na postolje Grand Prix natjecanja.

Ušutkao skeptike

- Bilo je puno onih koji su govorili da neću osvojiti niti medalju na državnom prvenstvu, a sada stojim na postolju najjače svjetske serije. Ponosan sam i jer je ovo tek treća muška medalja za Hrvatsku na Grand Prix natjecanjima, nakon mog trenera Marijanovića i brata Zlatka. Završavanjem fakulteta i postajanjem doktorom oslobodilo mi se još više vremena za treninge i godinu dana sam potpuno u judu. To se sad vidi na rezultatima i znam da mogu još samo više i bolje – rekao je iscrpljen nakon tri teške borbe Kumrić.

Osim Kumrića, Hrvatska je u finalnom bloku imala još dvije predstavnice i to u kategoriji preko 78 kg, Helenu Vuković i Tinu Radić. Ždrijeb je ovaj hrvatski dvojac smjestio u međusobni susret na samom početku, a pobjedu je odnijela Vuković, koja je na sljedećem koraku zaustavljena od francuske natjecateljice Tolofue. 

Tina bez medalje

U borbi za broncu susrela se s još jednom Francuskinjom, Fuseau koja je u golden scoreu bila bolja od hrvatske predstavnice. Na ovogodišnjem Grand Prixu, Helena je zauzela 5. mjesto. Isti rezultat upisala je i Tina Radić, koja je u borbi za postolje nastupila protiv Njemice Lucht. Nakon par dobrih napada, Tina je ostala u zahvatu i ostala bez medalje.

Radić i Vuković nisu bile pričljive nakon borbi za broncu već su obje, razočarane nakon poraza, zaključile kako nisu zadovoljne danom te da mogu bolje i da to žele pokazati u sljedećim nastupima.

Više uvida u njihove nastupe ponudili su njihovi treneri:

- Tina je judašica koja ima veliki potencijal u bacanjima i snazi. Ne smije dopustiti da protivnica umiri borbu i taktički traži priliku. Ponajviše je to bilo protiv Vuković u prvoj borbi, a u borbi za broncu je bilo to već puno bolje – rekao je trener Radić, Tomislav Marijanović, ujedno i trener Marka Kumrića, dodavši:

- Dok su nam oči u proteklim godinama bile usmjerene na olimpijce, Marko je naporno radio. Medicinski fakultet ne daje previše mogućnosti za izbivanja zbog dugotrajnih priprema tako da je nakon diplome prošle godine uspio još više i fokusiranije raditi i sad mu se sve vraća. Vidjet ćemo hoće li ići na Grand Slam Pariz ili na Europski kup u Dubrovniku. U dobroj je formi, ali ne treba niti poletjeti nakon nekoliko medalja.

- Helena može puno bolje. Ona ima tek 21 godinu i kroz ovakve dane može puno naučiti te skupiti iskustva. Radit ćemo i dalje naporno, razvijati se i pobijeđivati ovakve borbe koje su neizvjesne – rekao je trener Vuković, Matija Frljić.

Porazi Rozge i Kokeze

U nedjelju je od hrvatskih reprezentativaca nastupio i Ivan Rozga (do 90 kg). Ovoga puta, američki natjecatelj Jayne bio je bolji od Kaštelanina. Josipa Kokezu (do 100 kg) u prvom kolu dočekao je težak zadatak i poraz. Ždrijeb mu je za protivnika odredio Rusa Adamiana, četvrtog natjecatelja na svjetskoj seniorskoj rang listi, koji je otišao do zlata u Zagrebu. Osim njega, ni Zrinka Miočić (do 78 kg) nije uspjela proći u sljedeće kolo natjecanja. Od Zrinke je ovog puta bila bolja Njemica Schmid.

Drugu medalju za Hrvatsku na ovogodišnjem Grand Prixu Zagreb donio je Splićanin Marko Kumrić (do 100 kg) osvojivši broncu protiv vlasnika olimpijskog srebra iz Londona 2012, Asleya Gonzaleza. 

Hrvatski judo je na domaćem tatamiju upisao dvije brončane medalje. Nakon uspjeha juniorke Ane Viktorije Puljiz (do 52 kg), drugu je osvojio Marko Kumrić (do 100 kg), zlatni s nedavno održanog European Opena u Sarajevu. 

Mlađi brat Kumrić, u prvom kolu pobijedio je Ukrajinca Vehera, svladavši ga za samo 27 sekundi. Catharina iz Nizozemske bio je ovog puta prevelika prepreka, ali se na pobjednički kolosijek vraća protiv Švicarca Eicha tehnikom držanja. 

Finalni blok i borba za treće mjesto pravi su ambijent za Kumrića, kako je objasnio trener Tomislav Marijanović jer “uvijek voli svjetla pozornice”. Za protivnika je imao protiv Kubanca Asleya Gonzaleza, koji sada nastupa pod rumunjskom zastavom. U napetoj borbi do samoga kraja, Marko je uspio zadržati prednost i po prvi puta popesti se na postolje Grand Prix natjecanja.

Ušutkao skeptike

- Bilo je puno onih koji su govorili da neću osvojiti niti medalju na državnom prvenstvu, a sada stojim na postolju najjače svjetske serije. Ponosan sam i jer je ovo tek treća muška medalja za Hrvatsku na Grand Prix natjecanjima, nakon mog trenera Marijanovića i brata Zlatka. Završavanjem fakulteta i postajanjem doktorom oslobodilo mi se još više vremena za treninge i godinu dana sam potpuno u judu. To se sad vidi na rezultatima i znam da mogu još samo više i bolje – rekao je iscrpljen nakon tri teške borbe Kumrić.

Osim Kumrića, Hrvatska je u finalnom bloku imala još dvije predstavnice i to u kategoriji preko 78 kg, Helenu Vuković i Tinu Radić. Ždrijeb je ovaj hrvatski dvojac smjestio u međusobni susret na samom početku, a pobjedu je odnijela Vuković, koja je na sljedećem koraku zaustavljena od francuske natjecateljice Tolofue. 

Tina bez medalje

U borbi za broncu susrela se s još jednom Francuskinjom, Fuseau koja je u golden scoreu bila bolja od hrvatske predstavnice. Na ovogodišnjem Grand Prixu, Helena je zauzela 5. mjesto. Isti rezultat upisala je i Tina Radić, koja je u borbi za postolje nastupila protiv Njemice Lucht. Nakon par dobrih napada, Tina je ostala u zahvatu i ostala bez medalje.

Radić i Vuković nisu bile pričljive nakon borbi za broncu već su obje, razočarane nakon poraza, zaključile kako nisu zadovoljne danom te da mogu bolje i da to žele pokazati u sljedećim nastupima.

Više uvida u njihove nastupe ponudili su njihovi treneri:

- Tina je judašica koja ima veliki potencijal u bacanjima i snazi. Ne smije dopustiti da protivnica umiri borbu i taktički traži priliku. Ponajviše je to bilo protiv Vuković u prvoj borbi, a u borbi za broncu je bilo to već puno bolje – rekao je trener Radić, Tomislav Marijanović, ujedno i trener Marka Kumrića, dodavši:

- Dok su nam oči u proteklim godinama bile usmjerene na olimpijce, Marko je naporno radio. Medicinski fakultet ne daje previše mogućnosti za izbivanja zbog dugotrajnih priprema tako da je nakon diplome prošle godine uspio još više i fokusiranije raditi i sad mu se sve vraća. Vidjet ćemo hoće li ići na Grand Slam Pariz ili na Europski kup u Dubrovniku. U dobroj je formi, ali ne treba niti poletjeti nakon nekoliko medalja.

- Helena može puno bolje. Ona ima tek 21 godinu i kroz ovakve dane može puno naučiti te skupiti iskustva. Radit ćemo i dalje naporno, razvijati se i pobijeđivati ovakve borbe koje su neizvjesne – rekao je trener Vuković, Matija Frljić.

Porazi Rozge i Kokeze

U nedjelju je od hrvatskih reprezentativaca nastupio i Ivan Rozga (do 90 kg). Ovoga puta, američki natjecatelj Jayne bio je bolji od Kaštelanina. Josipa Kokezu (do 100 kg) u prvom kolu dočekao je težak zadatak i poraz. Ždrijeb mu je za protivnika odredio Rusa Adamiana, četvrtog natjecatelja na svjetskoj seniorskoj rang listi, koji je otišao do zlata u Zagrebu. Osim njega, ni Zrinka Miočić (do 78 kg) nije uspjela proći u sljedeće kolo natjecanja. Od Zrinke je ovog puta bila bolja Njemica Schmid.

Drugu medalju za Hrvatsku na ovogodišnjem Grand Prixu Zagreb donio je Splićanin Marko Kumrić (do 100 kg) osvojivši broncu protiv vlasnika olimpijskog srebra iz Londona 2012, Asleya Gonzaleza. 

Hrvatski judo je na domaćem tatamiju upisao dvije brončane medalje. Nakon uspjeha juniorke Ane Viktorije Puljiz (do 52 kg), drugu je osvojio Marko Kumrić (do 100 kg), zlatni s nedavno održanog European Opena u Sarajevu. 

Mlađi brat Kumrić, u prvom kolu pobijedio je Ukrajinca Vehera, svladavši ga za samo 27 sekundi. Catharina iz Nizozemske bio je ovog puta prevelika prepreka, ali se na pobjednički kolosijek vraća protiv Švicarca Eicha tehnikom držanja.
