Otišao je iz Vodica zbog ljubavi, otac je troje djece, za vrijeme COVID pandemije proizvodio je zaštitne maske i slao ih u Vodice. Kuha većinom dalmatinsku spizu, ali mu ni mađarska ni slovačka nisu mrske. Napustio je posao u Hrvatskoj, drugi put je postao zamjenik načelnika općine Dulovce, a tek mu je 39 godina. Kako mu je sve to uspjelo, otkrio nam je Josip Bakmaz.

Prije 16 godina Josip Bakmaz je vodičku adresu zamijenio slovačkom, točnije u jugozapadnoj je Slovačkoj, u mjestu Dulovce. I to zbog ljubavi.

– Nedugo nakon upoznavanja otišao sam za Slovačku, u Dulovce. Uplovio sam u bračne vode i postao otac troje djece – započeo je Josip Bakmaz razgovor.

Naporna kombinacija

Prvih godinu dana kombinirao je život u Slovačkoj s poslom u Vodicama. Međutim, kako je vrijeme odmicalo i sve je više postajao “Slovak”, donio je odluku da okrene kormilo u nekom drugom pravcu. Odustao je tako Josip od ugostiteljstva.

– S ugostiteljstvom, kojim sam se do tada bavio u Hrvatskoj, prestao sam i ne fali mi trenutno. Godinama se nagomilalo puno problema i odlučio sam promijeniti posao i probati nešto drugo – dodaje donačelnik Josip Bakmaz.

Ostavio je Vodice, miris mora, koji mu i dalje fali, dalmatinsku kuhinju i uhvatio se u koštac s problemima u općini Dulovce. Pomogao je u rekonstrukciji školske dvorane i crkve, što mu je, uz vlastite ambicije i želje, otvorilo vrata politike.

– Budući da smo mi Hrvati komunikativni ljudi, brzo sam se prilagodio i mještani općine su željeli da se kandidiram za načelnika. Kako sam stranac, nisam to prihvatio na prvu, ali nakon nekoliko mjeseci pokušao sam – nastavlja Bakmaz.

Nije bio siguran da će ostvariti uspjeh kao samostalni kandidat pa je izišao na izbore kao kandidat Kršćansko-demokratske zajednice (KDH). Godine 2018., od 23 kandidata, zauzeo je treće mjesto i postao prvi put zamjenik načelnika općine Dulovce.

U razdoblju prvog mandata počela je pandemija koronavirusa. Kako njegova supruga vodi obiteljsku tvrtku za proizvodnju vojnih, policijskih i radnih uniformi, odvažio se.

– U to vrijeme bila je najveća potražnja za zaštitnim maskama. Počeli smo s proizvodnjom. Na početku smo prodavali bolnicama, školama, općinama – kroz razgovor nastavlja Bakmaz.

Stigle su tako zaštitne maske i do Vodica, Kutine, Zagreba, a potom do Irske i Njemačke.

Kad je stigao u Slovačku, jezik nije znao. I sada se još uvijek bori sa slovačkom gramatikom, ali ne odustaje. Kaže da mu jezik nije lagan, ali kad se nešto želi, to se i ostvari.

Jedva čeka ljeto

I njemu se ponovno ostvarilo na izborima u studenome 2022. godine. Uz potporu Kršćansko-demokratske zajednice, drugi put je izabran za zamjenika načelnika općine.

Ovaj put s još boljim uspjehom. Od 28 kandidata, osvojio je drugo mjesto.

– Posao je zahtjevan. Trenutno radimo na projektima, točnije njih osam, koji su važni za našu općinu. Projekt izgradnje sustava za pročišćavanje otpadnih voda, projekt snižavanja cijena energije općinskih nekretnina, rješavanje postrojenja za kompostiranje biorazgradivog otpada, samo su neki od projekata za koje smo dobili sredstva iz EU fondova. Uz to gradimo dom za starije osobe i stanove za socijalno ugrožene osobe – zaključuje Bakmaz.

Slobodnog vremena Bakmaz ima jako malo, ali ono malo što mu ostane većinom provodi s obitelji, posebno ljeti, kad “skokne” do Vodica i odmori se od politike i obveza.

Otišao je iz Vodica zbog ljubavi, otac je troje djece, za vrijeme COVID pandemije proizvodio je zaštitne maske i slao ih u Vodice. Kuha većinom dalmatinsku spizu, ali mu ni mađarska ni slovačka nisu mrske. Napustio je posao u Hrvatskoj, drugi put je postao zamjenik načelnika općine Dulovce, a tek mu je 39 godina. Kako mu je sve to uspjelo, otkrio nam je Josip Bakmaz.

Prije 16 godina Josip Bakmaz je vodičku adresu zamijenio slovačkom, točnije u jugozapadnoj je Slovačkoj, u mjestu Dulovce. I to zbog ljubavi.

– Nedugo nakon upoznavanja otišao sam za Slovačku, u Dulovce. Uplovio sam u bračne vode i postao otac troje djece – započeo je Josip Bakmaz razgovor.

Naporna kombinacija

Prvih godinu dana kombinirao je život u Slovačkoj s poslom u Vodicama. Međutim, kako je vrijeme odmicalo i sve je više postajao “Slovak”, donio je odluku da okrene kormilo u nekom drugom pravcu. Odustao je tako Josip od ugostiteljstva.

– S ugostiteljstvom, kojim sam se do tada bavio u Hrvatskoj, prestao sam i ne fali mi trenutno. Godinama se nagomilalo puno problema i odlučio sam promijeniti posao i probati nešto drugo – dodaje donačelnik Josip Bakmaz.

Ostavio je Vodice, miris mora, koji mu i dalje fali, dalmatinsku kuhinju i uhvatio se u koštac s problemima u općini Dulovce. Pomogao je u rekonstrukciji školske dvorane i crkve, što mu je, uz vlastite ambicije i želje, otvorilo vrata politike.

– Budući da smo mi Hrvati komunikativni ljudi, brzo sam se prilagodio i mještani općine su željeli da se kandidiram za načelnika. Kako sam stranac, nisam to prihvatio na prvu, ali nakon nekoliko mjeseci pokušao sam – nastavlja Bakmaz.

Nije bio siguran da će ostvariti uspjeh kao samostalni kandidat pa je izišao na izbore kao kandidat Kršćansko-demokratske zajednice (KDH). Godine 2018., od 23 kandidata, zauzeo je treće mjesto i postao prvi put zamjenik načelnika općine Dulovce.

U razdoblju prvog mandata počela je pandemija koronavirusa. Kako njegova supruga vodi obiteljsku tvrtku za proizvodnju vojnih, policijskih i radnih uniformi, odvažio se.

– U to vrijeme bila je najveća potražnja za zaštitnim maskama. Počeli smo s proizvodnjom. Na početku smo prodavali bolnicama, školama, općinama – kroz razgovor nastavlja Bakmaz.

Stigle su tako zaštitne maske i do Vodica, Kutine, Zagreba, a potom do Irske i Njemačke.

Kad je stigao u Slovačku, jezik nije znao. I sada se još uvijek bori sa slovačkom gramatikom, ali ne odustaje. Kaže da mu jezik nije lagan, ali kad se nešto želi, to se i ostvari.

Jedva čeka ljeto

I njemu se ponovno ostvarilo na izborima u studenome 2022. godine. Uz potporu Kršćansko-demokratske zajednice, drugi put je izabran za zamjenika načelnika općine.

Ovaj put s još boljim uspjehom. Od 28 kandidata, osvojio je drugo mjesto.

– Posao je zahtjevan. Trenutno radimo na projektima, točnije njih osam, koji su važni za našu općinu. Projekt izgradnje sustava za pročišćavanje otpadnih voda, projekt snižavanja cijena energije općinskih nekretnina, rješavanje postrojenja za kompostiranje biorazgradivog otpada, samo su neki od projekata za koje smo dobili sredstva iz EU fondova. Uz to gradimo dom za starije osobe i stanove za socijalno ugrožene osobe – zaključuje Bakmaz.

Slobodnog vremena Bakmaz ima jako malo, ali ono malo što mu ostane većinom provodi s obitelji, posebno ljeti, kad “skokne” do Vodica i odmori se od politike i obveza.
